I was also impressed that they tried to be considerate of our neighbors who we share a driveway with. In order to access our yard they had to park right in front of our neighbors garage, blocking them in, so they pulled out all of their equipment and then moved their truck down the hill and out of the way. They got the job done quick, were happy to answer some questions I had over the phone the next day and were just generally very easy to work with.

Once the fence was done, they came quickly, on time, and the men working were extremely friendly. They parked on the side of our driveway, not to block the garage. We are renovating, so our driveway gets blocked A LOT because other companies are not paying that close of attention. When they were done, they came to the door again and gave us extra seeds in case there were any weak spots, asked if I had any questions, then they were on their way. They smiled and said have a great day. It's so nice to start the morning with pleasant people like that!

Many times they'd come, mow and blow in about 10 minutes and leave (even though it was a large property). Sent them emails, left voicemails, sent letters, even wrote on the payment checks that we wanted them to stop coming because we were not happy with the service they were providing. They STILL kept coming and we had to tell them to leave. Kept sending bills even though we've already paid; emailed to try to resolve the issue and show proof of payment but no response at all. Find another landscaper to work with, this is not the one.

They are on time, responsible, honest, courteous and considerate. He notices the small things and takes time to do things the right way. Seems reasonable and worth it. However, communication is spotty. The only way I can get a hold of someone is through email and when I asked him not to come, he came anyway. I asked him again not to come until September as my small lawn just isn't growing. Well, I got an invoice from the service they were asked to skip and an argument over email for hours on a Sunday morning asking me to prove I didn't want them to come. Ultimately, I will move on to a different service. I paid every invoice, in full on time and the history of the relationship should be taken into account. Good customer service goes a long way.

We decided to wait until we closed escrow and then get a second opinion. I'm glad I did! I had Scott Selby come out and he was fantastic. He is extremely knowledgeable, very helpful in explaining what's going on with the trees, what to look for, when to be concerned, etc. And at no time did Scott try to "upsell" me into doing unnecessary work (like the other company did). We ended up hiring Trees for Life to come and do some limbing and dead-wood removal on several trees closest to the home. The crew that arrived was equally fantastic. Professional, friendly - people you're happy to have in your space. Their work was perfect and they left the place looking great.
