Very hard workers loved their attitude, and they did a great job! They removed a large selection of plants and a large evergreen and replanted all over the form yard. We contacted multiple landscaping companies and only Hawks Landscaping and another company responded to us. The other company never replied after asking for pictures of the yard. Communication was over yelp message and texts, which is great. I usually never have time to call anyone during work hours so if a company doesn't communicate via email or texts, I don't hire them. Alexis came out to give us a quote (they come in the evenings or weekends for quote so it was very convenient). He was extremely polite and seemed very trustworthy. He did mention that they might not be the cheapest but they don't cheap out on the mulch. I'd never hired a landscaper before in my life and they were the only one that actually came out anyway so we decided to go with them assuming we're paying above average. I'm still not sure what the average is for a job like this (weeding, mulch, trim bushes) but I don't care because I am super happy with their work and think it was worth every penny. They went above and beyond my expectations. I only said I wanted the yard weeded and mulch laid down, I never specified how. I fully expected them to just pile some mulch over some dead weeds and call it a day. But they cleared out the weeds completely and line the end of the yard near the property line with rocks so the mulch line doesn't cut off abrubtly. They even brought and put down some step stones in the front yard. They weren't kidding about the amount of mulch they put down either. I could swim in it if I wanted to. I will only go to Hawks Landscaping for all my landscaping needs now. If you're looking for a reliable landscaper and are worried that they only have a few reviews, don't be! We hired them to clean up our landscaping before putting our house on the market. They worked solid for 2 days and our yard looked amazing afterwards! Their quote was fair and they were even able to haul away some construction debris for us at the end (for a reasonable extra fee of course). Very professional and thorough. Text is the best way to communicate with them. We specifically had them level out our backyard with some extra dirt, seed the backyard, lay down a bunch of bark, weed and trim, and plant some grasses beneath some windows. I was greeted by Alexa for an estimate for lawn maintenance, which was very reasonable. He gave me a quote for a clean up prior to schedule maintenance. Also very reasonable. He came that week to clean up my yard. He and his team did a high quality job. I hired him for twice a month maintenance. He did show up for scheduled maintenance? I tried to message him twice on the number he gave me, no response. Then I tried to call him, the number was no longer in use??? Then I tried to call the number listed on Yelp, voicemail full. I left a message here too. Still no response. It's been almost a month. My yard is mess again. I've been ghosted by this company and do not recommend them at all. read more

We had hired Hawks landscaping do a measure clean up of our yard including removing weeds on multiple garden beds, trimming many plants, and also trimming TALL trees that were over grown from our neighbors to over out fence and started to touch out roof.
