UPDATE: I TAKE IT BACK! I have to say that Tru Terras made it right. They came back and did a complete clean up at no charge, knowing I had hired someone else. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to miscommunications and a language barrier. This time, they did a walk through before and a walk through after. I pointed out what needed to be done and they did it. I think for anyone that hires them in the future for long term maintenance, it would be important to take photos of the yard before and after to make sure it's clear as to how you want your yard maintained year round I'm not sure where to start. Do not hire these people. We paid them $6800 to clean up our yard to be able to maintain it. Then, we agreed to pay them over $500 per month all year long to maintain it. They did not. They rushed in, mowed, and left. We asked repeatedly for them to trim, weed, and prune as agreed. They claimed a communication issue or a language barrier. Total BS. They did not do the job as they agreed and as we've paid for the last year. Awful and full of excuses!! Our yard is now a mess, and they are fired. Their response??? Oh, so sorry there was a miscommunication, and our "guys didn't do what they were told". THIS is not what we agreed to. read more

Tru Terras did an EXCELLENT job landscaping my suburban home. They responded quickly when I requested an estimate and followed up quickly to do the actual work. The work went beyond my expectations and my place looks better than I ever could have imagined. They were professional, thorough, and courteous. Work done: gutters; pressure wash concrete patio, walkways & stairs; weed between side of house and fence; weed under big evergreen trees; prune miscellaneous trees and shrubs; prune and shape rhododendron; mow, edge & blow. The pruned shrubs and trees look good. The patio is whiter than I've ever seen it. They made nice edge cuts between the lawn and flower beds, and got every bit of weeds out from between the retaining wall rocks. Highly recommend! read more

Not a customer, but have experience with ownership. My 2025 vehicle was hit while parked in a parking lot by an employee, in an employee vehicle, for this company. Hit and run. No information was left behind. I was able to see the company was at fault after reviewing my cars camera footage. I contacted the company to report the damage. At no point did the company reach out to me, to assist in working out getting my vehicle repaired. At no point did I speak to anyone other than the receptionist. They did not offer their insurance company, but had to get it through my own insurance provider after they reviewed the incident footage. This is just to say that management at this location lacked empathy or effort to help me through this issue, that they created. This was more than 2 months of effort on my own part to get my vehicle repaired, for something this company was at fault for. read more

Poor customer service. When I directly contacted the company regarding the work done they did not come to review the job. Response was if I "had contacted them earlier", less than a week had passed and they did not look into it at all. Workers were non English speaking and even using a translator didn't improve the work. They piled compost up against my siding, covered over plants, did not take care of moving gravel it was scattered everywhere and left the property unkept. When I got home from a 10 hour shift I started blowing my walkways and getting their mess off the street. Even an empty soda cup left in a tree. My plan was to use their services for various jobs but this ended our future. read more

We contacted Tru Terra to landscape the hillside beside our home in Snohomish. They came with a large crew who stripped the dead grass, added 50 yards of soil/mulch and planted many trees and shrubs. Couple of nice guys came for to give me an estimate. They were on time and showed interest in doing the work. They were asked to do weeding and edging of the grass, but no mowing. We have a 5 acre property, so it was going to be a lot of work. We received the estimate on-line in half a day. This was one estimate out of three. They were soooo overpriced. The service from this company was poor for me, depending on what team was sent to my property. They did not consistently provide the services outlined in the contract and when I would call and complain I would get arguments and have to reschedule to have them come out at a later time to complete the unfinished work. When you hire a business like this to perform a service, you should not have to babysit them in order to make sure what you are paying for is done properly. Trash was left behind, piles of weeds from a professional company left in different spots and the crew member pulled out my growing sunflowers, my pumpkins plants and a number of my growing summer time flowering bulbs. What's more disappointing obvious spots where zucchini, jalapeno plants are growing I had to tell the crew member to stop before removing more of my vegetables. read more

Paid them for an electrician to come out and test why my landscaping lights were not working. The 'electrician' that came out 'tested' by disconnecting another one of my transformers without my permission, not something an electrician would due to properly test a transformer. They then told me my transformer was fried and sent me a quote of over $700 for a new transformer and then another $1500 to run another line because they told me the transformer fried because it was over loaded. I didn't move forward with this estimate and had another company come out. The transformer was NOT fried, and a new line was not needed. The other company was able to quickly fix my lights. When I called the company to tell them the quote they gave me was not true, they had the 'electrician' call me and complain to me that I told his company he didn't do a good job. Completely unprofessional and lacking of integrity. They were going to scam me $2500 for parts that were not broken or in error. read more

I had a very overgrown yard with a lot of trees and hedges that needed cutting and beds that were a mess. I reached out to Tru Terras because they also do monthly service work at two of our neighbors and their yards always look nice. They responded same day and were able to schedule an estimate within a few days. Within 10 days of the initial call their team was working on our yard. They did an amazing job, very thorough and hauled everything away leaving it spotless. The yard, trees, and beds look a million times better and beyond what I was expecting. After using Tru Terra's for years they truly are a let down. They wanted to start service in April but we asked for them to start one month later. The office approved this but come May they never showed. Then they said they would need to come out and see how much it would cost to do our yard. They said it would be more since it is one month later. They have never done this before so we were confused. Needless to say we won't be using them again. read more

We hired Tru Terras to build a retaining wall and stairs along our driveway on our sloped front yard as well as to build a walkway with pavers around the side of our house. We could not be happier. Tru Terras Landscaping has done a couple of jobs for me. First, they completely cleaned my very overgrown yard and then I had them install a paver patio. Both times they were prompt with the estimates, which were reasonable. Once I approved the estimates the jobs were done quickly and beautifully.
