They did a great job of cleaning up my yard. It hadn't been done for awhile and it looked great…read moreafter they were done. Derek is very good about emailing if there are any changes in his schedule.

Our overall experience with Pacific Northwest Landscape was unreliable and unprofessional. We had a…read moretricky backyard project that Derek was working on for us. The project was supposed to start in October and kept getting pushed out. They finally showed up a couple random Fridays in November after us calling to ask when he would be here, then didn't show up for another two weeks. After seeing the work that they had done we were unimpressed as well. Also we complained about the debris that they cut down and left on our grass for over a month he said hauling debris away was extra. That was pretty surprising to hear from a landscape company. We actually had to cease working with Derek due to all the problems he had with scheduling/quality and when we had someone else look at the work they said it was unsafe (a retaining wall on a slope) So looks like we have to redo the minimal amount of work that they did do for us. Derek has also proved very difficult to work with on a reasonable solution on the 50% deposit that we had to put down. We are still working on that. I would not recommend using this company if timing and quality are important. If you just need some maintenance done they would probably be fine but only if you are up for hauling all of your own debris away.

I see that Mr. Grimes has posted another erroneous account of the billing situation. What he…read moreleaves out of his posting is that he received a judgement against me for bills he brought to court charging me for work he didn't do in August and September (because he had been fired), but I had no way of proving to the court that he had NOT been at my house....it was my word against his. MORE IMPORTANTLY, HE IS LEAVING OUT THE FACT THAT THE JUDGE AWARDED ME A JUDGEMENT AGAINST HIM for the damage he did to my yard. He has issued a garnishment for my wages after making NO ATTEMPTS to collect on the judgement and has refused to work with me to offset my judgement against him. In other words, he is trying to collect his judgement against me while completely refusing to pay me the money he was ordered to pay in the judgement against him. Check the Snohomish County court records in Lynnwood Small Claims court and you'll see that I am telling the truth before you believe what he has posted here as a response. The judge expected there to be an offset, and the credit company he enlisted to issue a garnishment agreed that there should be an offset and agreed with me on the phone that they would settle the matter, but when they approached Mr. Grimes about it, he refused to let them settle it for the amount of the offset the judge had ordered. Additionally, the offset amount is exactly what I offered to pay him at mediation before we went to court and he refused it then as well, only to find that is exactly the same amount the judge ordered. Fortunately, I have a new gardener who is FABULOUS! Half the cost of Mr. Grimes' extremely bad work.....and coming home to see the results with this new gardner makes my day because it is so beautifully done. When Mr. Grimes' and his "team" (who he hires as day labor) had supposedly done their work, I would arrive home at the end of the day completely frustrated and wondering what they had done. Do not believe the profile these guys posted! They are expensive, slow and use their slowness to try to get you to pay them for more time. I fired them in August last year after months of trying to get them to do the work I hired them to do, and after I came home to discover that they had cut down a tree in my yard that they did not have my permission to remove, leaving a large root ball that I now have to pay someone to dig up, along with the cost of replacing the tree. They cut all of the branches off a tree in my front yard that I HAD asked them to remove, but left the bare tree trunk there in the middle of my garden bed. I now have to pay someone to cut that trunk down. After I fired them, they billed me for work they said they did for a month and a half after they were fired and sent the bills to me stating they were sending to collections. Now...7 months later, they have filed a small claims action trying to either force me to pay them for work they did not do, or just get moremoney out of me. The company I had doing this work before Yardworks did the same work in half the time these guys were charging for, and these guys insisted they didn't have enough time to get even the basics done and needed more time....and of course, more money.

We do all outdoor related things. When we step on your property we are assessing soil types, insects, plant types, diseases... We can also do fixes and install's of irrigation, hardscapes, structures, etc. Licensed, bonded, and insured. We prefer our maintenance to progress as the grass grows. We bill monthly, work all year round, rarely have you sign a contract. You will notice a lower bill in the winter when plants are more dormant
