I personally had a great experience today in a bit great time of my life lol. My water heater has been leaking for days and I just found out it has a warranty left in it for five more days. I had to look for a place that services my Brand of water heater, is reputable, and available! They were able to come out SAME DAY and kept me informed throughout the day of changes in eta. There was a pretty big change in eta but that worked out for me because I was just leaving work to meet their technician. The technician (Roberto Ramirez) was kind and patient and explained what COULD be wrong and what was ACTUALLY wrong. He told me what to look for in the future and possibly how to prevent it from happening again. He told me how to maintain it going forward and some other tips and tricks that might help extend the life of my water heater. Additionally, he contacted the warranty company and worked with them to get the needed part today at zero cost to me which you would think might annoy a company or technician but he didn't seem bothered at all. Called them out for maintenance on our 8 year old hvac system. The technician walked us through what was wrong since our coils were frozen over and thought we needed to have someone else come out. His supervisor comes and recommends A WHOLE NEW $20k SYSTEM. Such a scam. Our system is still under manufacture warranty and we called another local company and the only thing wrong was the filter was clogged. Couldn't recommend these guys less!!! read more

I recently used Pacific Air Services for maintenance on my A/C unit on March 27, 2026. Unfortunately, after the technician's visit, the unit stopped cooling properly, even though it had been working perfectly beforehand the technician was amazed expressing over the phone to one of his supervisors about how cold the Unit fell inside the house. Before he finished they sell us a membership so we can get a "discount" for the work that was done that day and " in case we need another service in the future" ( which it made me think that all this it was a very sketchy plan) When the technician returned later that day after we called back the office because the unit wasn't cooling anymore, when the technicians came back to check recheck the unit he even mentioned to my husband that he might have misplaced the capacitor cables during the first visit and couldn't do much so next day a Senior technician was sent and came to do some test that resulted in a recommendation to replace the entire unit for an exorbitant price but they made it seem that since we became members we will get a good discount?? What kind of business is this, I'm hoping the company will take accountability and assist in resolving this issue appropriately, I have reached out already but haven't heard anything yet, for now be aware of the way they do business. I had a two more third party companies coming over to check on the issue of the unit and they both agreed that if the Pacific Air claim the failure was because the unit is old they said if they are professional they shouldn't do anything or even touch the unit and let us know what could happen before hand. read more

I've heard good things about Pacific Air Conditioner, but my experience wasn't the right fit for me. The serviceman was respectful and transparent, but the focus was only on pricing. Since they couldn't work with me on cost, the process and options weren't really discussed in detail. He even kindly advised me not to share my personal hardships, like having my boyfriend's funeral the next day, because it wouldn't make a difference in pricing. I understand he was being honest, and I appreciated his transparency. Because my children are disabled and have serious health issues, I needed a company willing to show flexibility and compassion. I ultimately went with another provider who offered financing and took the time to understand the urgency of our situation. It all started when my husband wanted to have our HVAC system checked for routine maintenance. We'd been having trouble with cooling our upstairs off, specifically the 4 bedrooms at the end of the hallway. After Brandon came out and did an extensive inspection, he sat down and went through the laundry list of things that needed improvement. He explained each item thoroughly and helped rank them by level of importance. He was very honest about everything and made me feel at ease with his recommendations. One of our biggest issues was our duct system that was not very efficient and our old/low level of insulation. Knowing this was going to be a hefty job with an even heftier price tag, Brandon explained all the benefits of how this will help our current system and any new system we get in the future. He walked me through the perks of signing up to be a loyal customer which made perfect sense. The following day, another gentleman who I'm blanking in his name (very very nice guy), came by to give us an estimate to rework the duct system, add new insulation, and install a new water heater. He worked with us as best he could on the price and reiterated the same info Brandon had given us the day before. He gave us ample time to make our decision without pushing for an answer right then and there. When we gave the green light, he arranged to have the project started on Monday (3 days later which was awesome!) and told us it would take about 5 days to complete. He was completely accurate. Fast forward to Monday - the crew notified us that they were on their way and showed up on time. They introduced themselves, explained exactly what they were going to do, who was going to be coming in and out of the house, and what (if anything) they needed from us. The entire week Augustin would check in with an "on our way" text, a run down of the day's work schedule once he arrived, and a review of the completed work at the end of the day. The crew laid out carpet covering to ensure cleanliness each day which was super appreciated! Augustin, Jose H, Michael, Vincent, Miguel, & Jose R were all part of the crew who completed our project in a timely manner, kept the work area clean during and at the end of the day, were extremely communicative, worked very hard to help us have the best system/water heater situation we could have, and had exceptional customer service. I worked in customer service for 20 years and I can honestly say that this company has done a great job at hiring the nicest employees. They even kept a smile on their face when my young kids were absolute chaos in the mornings and I was losing my mind. Our system works better than ever and I now have enough photos to put together a photo album dedicated to my attic space and water heater. These people tried to cheat us out of literally $50,000. They came to our house, did a very nice inspection of our HVAC system, and then said we had to talk to a separate person if we wanted a quote. That was my first clue this was a scam. What's so hard about one guy looking at the job and the same guy telling us how much it will be? Obviously they wanted people whose whole job is to upsell and persuade and persist until people sign on the dotted line. And that's exactly what happened when the "estimator" came. He wanted to charge us $20,000 JUST for a new unit, $14k I think for redoing our ducting, and another $11k or more for insulation. Obviously right away we were like, yeah, no, that's not happening. He tried to inquire why, obviously he was going to start with his sales tactics. I said I couldn't see paying $20k for an appliance, MAYBE $8k for a top of the line version, but even that I'd have to do some comparisons to make sure that's the market price. The guy snorted and said with utter shock, "That just doesn't EXIST! I mean, you just can't FIND a 5 ton unit for that!" I said well, show me your costs and then I can decide if the price is fair. He said, "To be honest, no one is gonna show you that. I mean, we have overhead." That's another thing, he tried to tell us we need a 5 ton unit - another company that came to quote us just told us 4 tons would be just fine for our house. A 4 ton unit costs like $2k-$8k, MAX, with most of them between $2-5k. Tackiest of all, he tried to tell us we were getting all these discounts, including the "sign right now and we'll give you 10% off" discount. He gave us the nurse discount, the whatever discount, the other discount, so it looks like you're saving all this money. Of course the total never appeared anywhere on his paper. And he kept coming back to, "Oh, but because we're slow right now, we can give you these great discounts, but they won't last, we need to be starting work TOMORROW". Unbelievable. I couldn't even sit through his nonsense without rolling my eyes. Honestly I was so offended that he was trying to literally steal our hard earned money. AND the guy's handshake was limp. Invited these folks to give us an estimate on an AC+furnace replacement. They were friendly and gave me an appointment for right away. Thirty minutes into the two-hour appointment window, someone from the main office called me and said, "Your technician is on the way. He will be there within the hour." An hour later he hadn't arrived, and the 'position map' that showed he was a half-hour away and his location suggested he hadn't moved in an hour. My time has value, and I won't pay for unpredictable service. So I canceled the appointment. If they can't be on time, what other problems do they have?! Very very disappointed. read more

Michael came by and he was very professional and helped us out a great deal. Our AC went out on the hottest day here in Woodland Hills (over 100) and we were dying of heat. We had another company come by the day before, and they said the unit is dead and can't be fixed, needs a replacement. Michael came by and said although the unit is old, is giving out, and needs to be replaced, the battery is dead. He replaced the battery and the air started working. Without his fix, my family and our dog would have not been able to withstand the heat. Even though it is a temporary fix for now, it's still working and has gotten us through these hot days. I would give zero stars if I could. This outfit is one big scam. They showed us fake photos of our system (it's in the attic so I didn't go up with him), told us it was dangerous and the whole thing needed to be replaced. None of that was true. Do NOT use these charlatans. P.S. the owner responded to this review saying that the technician was maybe the most honest, sincere, professional, personable and genuine man he's ever met and that my accusation against him was absurd. I absolutely do not place any blame on the technician! He was great. He was just doing what pacific aire had trained him to do. Which was fear mongering. I asked the technician if I could put my husband on speaker phone while he explained the issues. He said that i could, but wanted to explain it to just me first. He told me how dangerous our AC units were (carbon monoxide leaks, high pressure, etc) but when I put him on speaker phone with my husband he was much more vague. Just needed to get his supervisor here STAT. Also urged me to sign up for the elite membership but wouldn't tell me how to cancel. Got 2 more estimates and it turns out this was all complete bullshit. Yes, our units are old, but they are in no way dangerous or ineffective.
