It seems the Wahaiwa location is still doing it the same so I really hope the quality goes back up.... I would hate to stop going to this spot in particular.

The girl at the register was super friendly and helpful, and the whole team just seemed on it. We were honestly blown away by how fast everything came out. Our sandwiches were ready in what felt like less than 2 minutes. Perfect for a quick lunch without sacrificing quality. We shared the BLT with added avocado and the Goodfella with added bacon, and both were delicious. Everything tasted great, and the service really stood out. We will definitely be back!

Timmy T's does a good mix of naming their hoagies after American and Hawaiian themes. Overall three stars. It's not my favorite but they are reasonably priced and close to base. They opened at 8am and we were there a little after 8:30 on a Sunday and yes, there was a line. But not too long a line and after we were seated there was no line but then a long line when we were leaving. So it is hit or miss in terms of wait time. Cross your fingers and the seating gods may be generous and kind to you. Menu id basically the same. And although there were four females to help with answering the phones for takeout orders, bussing and serving as well as taking orders and payment their system is efficient. When your table is ready you order and pay (if you order a drink a cup for your coffee or drink will be given). It saves time for you to wait for someone to take your order and later to wave someone down to pay. I know other places use this system (like Joe's on Nimitz) but it seems very practical here. Every table had a cold bottle of water waiting for the diners (so no wait help had to refill glasses) and I saw one of the wait help exchange the one on the table for a new cold bottle (that table was vacant for a while). The food is plentiful (most people had at least one take out container) and delicious. My corn beef wasn't from a can and cooked so there was a crisp but still soft on the inside. The spinach and mushrooms were fresh (once had canned mushrooms in my omelet at Zippy's -ugh).

Daily lunch specials available after 11am but i grabbed the Fried Chicken Plate and for 11 bucks i was impressed. Cooked to order so you may have to wait a bit till your food is ready. Located at the Liliha Food Court, the shared parking with McDonald's is free! Inside, there's a common dining area with all of the vendors. It's quiet and nicely air-conditioned, with a convenient restroom! Service was super friendly and efficient. I was asked if i wanted pate on my Lemongrass Tofu Banh Mi. At first, I thought it was an odd question. Then, I thought... why not! Let's try it! The next question was: would you like jalapeños? My answer: no, thank you! That's a great question because you won't waste jalapeños on me! I was given a buzzer that would alert me as to when my order was ready. I the meantime, I visited the other vendors. They have lots of business there from Starbucks, Ninja Sushi, L & L Hawaiian BBQ and many other businesses. We stop by for a quick dinner and ordered the Pastrami sandwich and you let them know what fresh vegetables you want on your sandwich and if you want it toasted. The pastrami sandwich was delicious and the vegetables were fresh and bread toasted yet soft on the inside. They gave us cups for water, they don't have inside seating but share outside seating area which is set up for a lot of the restaurants there.
