They then canceled on me 20 minutes before the rescheduled time, saying they *couldnt* leave the other move to honor my appointment even tho the other person wasn't even packed. (They just wanted that extra hourly cost from that person I'm sure). Rescheduled for the next day. Cost me money because I had already paid for daycare and for a cleaner to come to my old place. I had to pay for another day of day care and pay my cleaning person a cancellation fee plus the cleaning fee. Almost $300. Despite being very clear about moving a 1400sq ft place, they showed up with a truck that was too small to do it in one trip as discussed (Dragging out the time/cost). One mover was polite. The other was rude and the overall experience was beyond unprofessional. They left me with scratched and wobbly/damaged furniture from mishandling. They even asked us to help move things ! When the office person sent the text requesting payment, I asked about the price being adjusted for the huge and expensive inconvenience they caused me the day before and she was reluctant to do anything. After my insistence she gave me a small discount, but in actuality I should not have paid a dime over the originally quoted price due to the unprofessionalism and what they cost me by canceling. I asked if they were an insured company and she refused to answer or address my damaged furniture. She was generally pretty defensive and kept repeating the same excuse instead of wanting to accommodate me. I will obviously never recommend or use this company.

While I've never heard of a "moving service" where a truck isn't automatically a part of the service included in the overall quote- doesn't necessarily mean that this policy is unheard of ‍. The men who showed up where not prepared and lacked proper equipment. They showed up over a half hour late. One seemed visibly intoxicated. They didn't work together and in the process of moving heavy furniture, damaged several cabinets due to negligent moving and lacking proper equipment. When I requested to have our final invoice revised to account for the damage to our furniture I was informed that they have a policy where they make their customers pay in full for the move and then they will see if they will pay for damages. What a headache and what a bad practice to make your customers put more work into an already bad situation. I'll never use them again, too risky and they don't care about their customers at all.

Availability was open and not a problem, I scheduled to move my 2 bedroom apartment on Friday from Sacramento to Granite Bay. I tried to make everything as easy as I could for the movers everything was in boxes and all boxes were labeled to which room they should go to at the new home. Movers around at the time frame given which was 9:30-10 AM. They showed up in a smaller box truck which I knew from the beginning wasn't going to fit everything. When I called to make this appointment I told them I had a 2 bedroom apartment with a bunk bed and a bed 2 dressers 3 vanities a sectional couch and 40 boxes then misc items. I showed them everything and told them I had to go to work if they needed me to please reach out. The movers were very communicative and would send me photos and updates or ask questions about what should go where, but it threw me off because when the move was finished and I arrived at my new home everything was in the living room. A few random boxes and other items were in the bedrooms but nothing was out where I asked. Not a big deal I'll handle it I'm just happy they moved everything for me. But here is when I started to get disappointed. Let's back up a little, I mentioned the truck would be to small and of course it was they mentioned they would have to go back to do a second trip I said ok no problem. When they went back for a second trip he grabbed a few items and left the rest and asked me If I could just go get it myself. I'm thinking ok maybe it's just a few items no problem I'm sure they're tired. No.... I went to the apt the next day and it took me 2 trips In my Escalade to get the rest of the things and I still have to go back to get one more box that didn't fit in my car. Then, now back at new house I'm putting everything away I'm missing a box from my kitchen with my blender and a whole bunch of others items it's 100% not in this house not at the old apt. We go to put up our tvs and every single tv is missing the screws that connect the tv to the wall mounts not the screws that go into the wall but the screws that mount the tv to the mounts, EVERY SINGLE ONE! Then my main living room tv remote is gone it was in the side table next to the couch and now it's gone and I have to buy a new one. I'm not terribly mad but it's just annoying, I know they work hard and it's not an easy job but I've never had to go back myself to get the "rest" or had things missing. Again I appreciate the movers and tipped them still but I probably won't be using them again. This move felt like more of a headache than a smooth transition like the past moves we've done. I tried to reach out to let them know and it just seems like they were more worried about stating they should have charged me more than trying to fix the problems. At the end of the day if they brought a bigger truck I feel like none of these problems would have happened. Also I've been asking for my missing box and if they know where the remote is, no response. ‍
