I reached out to Moving Solutionz on yelp to request urgent moving help. My husband and I unexpectedly had to move within a few days and we couldn't do it on our own. Joshua called within minutes of my yelp request and was very sympathetic towards our situation. With only a two day notice, Joshua had sent his crew to help us. They turned a stressful move into a carefree experience for my husband and I. The men were strong, professional, and easy to talk to. They took care of all of the loading and unloading and even provided a trailer to transport our belongings. It was 100% worth the money. I highly recommend their services and I will definitely use them in the future! Thanks Joshua and team! read more

MS was great! They kept me informed and were efficient which I appreciated. I'd highly recommend their services!

I got an excellent quote, this team moves like lightning, and so respectful of everything. My family had a narrow budget to work with and moving solutionz understood our situation while providing a deal we couldn't pass up. please read the company bio and support them to the fullest. read more

From the moment I was panicking to find a quality mover and first talked to Joshua he eased my anxiety immediately. At first I asked if he was a broker or just a sales guy for the business. He explained that he was the owner and started himself 5 or so years ago and that he'd be on the job himself and that he loves what he does and just wants to help make people's moves and lives easier and do what needs to be done to make people happy about their move no matter what it takes or how long it takes. They do local and long distance jobs. They were efficient and thorough and really saved the day for me and took a lot of stress off of my shoulders. Thanks Joshua and Moving Solutionz......I will 100% use them again. read more

These guys are funtastic. And yes, I mean FUNtastic. It was such a blessing to have Josh and Eric help with the move. They did a spectacular job, and did above and beyond what we asked for. They work efficiently, and are very thoughtful with how they put things in the house. Very reasonably priced for the service offered, and they worked quickly, and were considerate of our time. Definitely will be using them again, and highly recommend them for all your hauling and moving needs!! read more

If I could give ten stars I would. The owner, Josh, personally moved me from Sacramento to Texas and let me tell you, this was the best moving experience I have ever had. Moving is extremely stressful, yet, as soon as I met Josh and his team, all of that stress disappeared. The attention to detail and care for your personal belongings is something you will never receive from large freight companies. Josh genuinely cares about his clients and its shows. He took great care in making sure all of my prized possessions made it safely to their final destination. Not only was the loading and move seamless, the set up at my new home was wonderful as well. As I had never been to my new home in person, Josh sent videos of each room to confirm where my items were to be placed. Side note, he even transported my plants and watered them as they were quite thirsty after the long hall. Also, the pricing is extremely reasonable and fair, it was definitely cheaper than any company I compared quotes with. Do yourself a favor and hire this local company. You won't regret it. Thank you Josh and team for all of your hard work!! read more

These guys were fantastic! They scheduled me quickly, sent professional and kind staff, their rate was fair and they cleaned up everything! From now on, I will only be using these guys! read more

I hired U-Haul to set up delivery of a U-Box with two movers. Thank God they subcontracted Moving Solutionz and sent Joshua!! That man has GENIUS Tetris skills and fit more in that box than anyone could have possibly imagined!! Amazing! He took his time to do it right, wrapped things that needed it, and made it all so compact there is no way anything will shift in transport. He was super pleasant and so nice. I highly recommend this business. read more

I hired Moving Solutionz based on a referral. I was glad they were able to accommodate a short notice but I didn't realize the service would fall short. I was moving from a 1200 sq. ft apartment (I did the packing), the only disassemble required was the master room bed and two TVs in the bedrooms. It took (3) men 5ish hours to load the moving truck. It was the most inefficient moving I have ever witnessed. There was a constant need for the lead mover to direct the other guy what to do. It was evident that he was not as experienced and had no business being on the job (it was a family member). The moving truck was not large enough to bring everything. I was asked to make choices on what to leave behind. The lead mover indicated he was not aware of all the boxes which caused the space issue. This was a bit perplexing as I included approximately (27) boxes in my quote. Perhaps what should have been asked is the size of the boxes. I did have a few "large" size boxes and a (3) large garment boxes but that should have not been the reason for them to run out of space. I had to donate a couple of tables plus my little electric BBQ because there was just no room and I was not going to be able to move it myself another day. I was told to decide if I really want to take my 50inch screen TV. Really? I made it very clear there was no way that TV would fit in my little SUV. I had purchased a special TV specific box from U-Haul for my TV but they ended up placing the TV unboxed in the back seat of the truck. During transportation, the base of the TV was snapped off. I reached out to the owner about this and all he did was forward my text to the lead mover for my job. The lead mover reached out to me, apologized, and offered to mount the TV but that was not permitted in my lease agmt. I never heard back from anyone after that messaging. Low class for an owner to make an employee pay out of pocket and worse, to not even respond to me. I have a nice outdoor patio set that was missing a cushion. I asked the lead mover if they found it in the truck and he confirmed they did find it. I asked if someone could drop it off but it's been two weeks so I'm guessing that's a lost cause. Overview, 1200 square foot apartment, billed for 11 hours of move time (yes that includes drive time), so that means total actual moving time was 6.5 hours! Read that again, 3 men, 1200 square foot apartment, 6.5 hours! Ran out of space, had to donate some furnishings due to space issue, broken TV, and I had to make a 2nd trip to load all the other items that did not fit in the truck. This was by far the worst moving experience ever. I see there are lots of good reviews for this company, so maybe I just got the C- team. I think the guy that was responsible for organizing the truck was working hard and doing the best he could. It just goes to show, if you have one person that's completely inefficient or not experienced, it can throw the entire team off and create a bad situation. Just to give you an example of what I mean by inefficient, at one point he was carrying one pillow from the moving truck into my house. PS: don't get me started on the large garment box labeled master upstairs bedroom left in the garage and one left in the living room (sigh). read more

Moving Solutionz will continue to be my first choice to work with whenever I have any moving needs either large or small. They originally helped my family move the entire house in 2018. At that point I met the owner, Josh, and his team. Originally they were able to get my business based on follow up and scheduling availability. They will keep my business because of the attention to detail and care they took while moving my items. While moving swiftly to complete the task they were never careless with any possessions. I recently used them again to reposition some large heavy items on my property. Again their follow up was on point and they were able to fit in my small job weeks before other carriers. I truly appreciate the work they do and friendly service they provide with very fair pricing. read more

Joshua and David helped us move my parents last weekend from Reno to California (all during a Winter Storm). I cannot say enough how impressed and happy we were with their service. Both Josh and David were so patient and flexible as we navigated road closures, chain restrictions and moving an entire house of my parents life of items to a new forever home for them (up in the hills too!). They were very kind and understanding that this was an emotional time for my parents and added such a positive, fun and hard working attitude. I am impressed with all that was accomplished in the day and everyone was sharing their praises of the experience. Thank you again for helping me to take the burden off worrying about the aspects of the move and allowing me to just be there to support. I would highly recommend their service! No stress, flexible, great attitudes and just a fun group! read more

Joshua is not only a great mover, but he is also personable, upbeat, friendly, and emotionally intelligent. Moving is always super stressful, but if you're moving under any kind of duress, hire him, as he is a reassuring presence and knows what he is doing. He cares about his business and customers, and is right there with his team, making sure that things are moved in such a way that they do not get broken. He brings his tools, goes over and above, and never complains. Also, I think he is affordable, considering the awesome service. I have hired him three times over the years and I hope I never have to move again, but I recommend him to anyone who must endure moving, which Joshua understands as a stressful life event during which people need support and kindness. read more

We had what I believe was a simple move within Roseville. Our family had already moved a good majority of stuff. Just really needed the furniture and boxes moved. When we got to our new place, it is on the 3rd floor, and we have an elevator. Joshua had appropriately priced the move with an elevator in place, but, the elevator was out of order! Are you kidding me? While I was on the phone with the property, it was clear the elevator was not going to be fixed in time, but Joshua and his crew did not miss a beat, and started hauling all our furniture up three flights of stairs as my son helped out as well. The guys did a great job, but I felt horrible that they had to climb the three floors. They didn't miss a beat! Joshua's correspondence was a little "slow" in securing the move. I know he was busy, and a little short staffed, but he always got back to me. I just had to trust that he was going to show up the day of the move, in which of course he did. I had wanted to negotiate a lower price because I didn't need a couple of the services he quoted me for (packing boxes and wrapping the furniture), but I never really heard back. After the move was over, I simply paid him his asking rate because the job they did without the use of the elevator......which was repaired shortly after they left! We recommend Joshua and his crew! read more

Phenomenal work by Josh and his team, quick, efficient, and very professional. would 100% recommend to anyone looking to move.

We have used A LOT of moving services throughout the years. Moving Solutionz by far is the best one we have worked with. Josh was easy to speak with via text and phone, spent the good majority of half a day working with us to understand the moving requirements of some auction items we had won, picked up the items (having to disconnect a sink from a wall) and delivered them to our house with less than 24hours notice. He also moved our extremely heavy piano into our home with just two guys, all while making polite conversation. Wow. We will be using Moving Solutionz again and telling everyone we know to give them a call too. Stellar Service and a really competitive price! read more

My wife and I used Moving Solutions to help with moving a couch and a dresser from our second story apartment to the third floor of our new apartment, as i could not move the couch by myself. Best movers EVER! We moved up from Southern CA to the EDH area in August and realized we would be needing last minute AND after hours moving help since our drive ended up being much, much longer and exhausting than we ever expected. While on the road, en route to northern CA, I called our storage unit (Life Storage in EDH) to ask for a recommendation. Shamus at Life Storage wholeheartedly recommended Moving Solutionz and said they were the most professional movers he'd ever dealt with, and he's seen them all. I called Joshua at Moving Solutionz, we agreed on a fair price, and even though our ETA was uncertain (due to traffic ALL the way up the 101) he immediately went into action to ensure his team would be ready to deploy upon our arrival. Joshua's team was AMAZING! They were quick, strong, friendly and professional. They not only moved our items into our storage unit with care, they also packed everything extremely well for proper long-term storage and accessibility. They were the most kind, honest, and considerate movers we have ever met. Joshua was even kind enough to offer to take us to his favorite fishing spots with us once we got settled. From start to finish, they were perfect. And Joshua even moved our very tired son in the car for us with his moving dolly to send us all off with a smile (see picture)! What a relief it was to find such a professional team of movers. I highly recommend using Moving Solutionz for all of your moving needs. Thank you, Moving Solutionz! read more

We truly appreciated the great job Josh's crew did on moving in all our items from 3 storage PODs. They arrived on time and got straight to work on unloading the first 2 PODs. They were in constant communication, as they unloaded; asking where the furniture should go. They took great care not to damage anything; especially my china cabinet. It was an extremely hot day, never complaining, and got everything unloaded as scheduled. We were also happy that they were able to squeeze us into their very busy schedule when our last POD arrived. I could not speak more highly of Josh and his services. I own a professional organization and relocation company that services professional athletes and celebrities around the united states. I have worked with dozens of moving companies throughout the country. I wish I could use him for ALL of my client moves. I hired Josh for my home when installing a new carpet and needed all of our belongings removed and placed back. It was a seven-day job that required a ton of logistics. The house is over 13k sq ft. Josh acted as the POC with the installer and ensured we were never without a bed to sleep during the process. He went out of his away to accommodate our needs to include arriving early in am, and very late at night. He was prompt, professional, responsible, and fast. Challenging moving day made peaceful by a solid crew. We moved from Mather to Rocklin and had 3000sq ft of stuff in a 2200 sq ft home and moved into an 1800sq ft home.
