Selecting a mover was not an easy task. I called several and read lots of reviews in different places before deciding on Moving Solutionz. Josh was down-to-earth and easy to talk to. The price was not the lowest but it was not the highest either. I just was comfortable talking with him and made the selection based on our phone interaction. I was very happy with the move. Josh came out beforehand to assess things and reconfirm his estimate for the move. He agree to move all of the heavy and awkward stuff that we needed moved (including treadmill and large modular desk). On move day, 4 guys showed up on time and they worked very hard to get everything moved in the one day we had allocated. The entire team was very nice and cordial. No swearing or bad behavior around my two young boys and they all took pride in carefully handling our furniture and other breakables. They wrapped the things that needed to be wrapped and they carefully maneuvered around doorways and across our new floors to move everything without damage or harm. Moving Solutionz removed alot of the stress from our move and they delivered on time and on budget without any major issues. Well we all know moving is never fun. Can be physically and mentally exhausting. Not if you hire these guys. Josh and his crew were uber professional. They did not waste any time. This is actually a 4.5 star review but I'm rounding up because Josh and his crew gave such outstanding effort and service on our moving day. We just moved across town but have a biggish house (3000sf), 3 dogs, tons of stuff and I was trying to still work from home during the move. They were accommodating, courteous, safe and very knowledgeable. They really cared for our furniture, even separately transporting some of our paintings in their own private cars instead of in the moving van. The only (minor) snags were 1) my husband needed some wardrobe boxes and had a little trouble prior to and after the move getting and returning the boxes, and 2) one of the moving guys damaged an end table (totally unforeseeable; the poor guy injured himself trying to save the table during the fall) and we had a bit of trouble getting followup with what happened with the table. Josh, however, took responsibility for the accident and is having the damage assessed, which shows good business sense & conscientiousness. The team arrived punctually on the day of the move; their rates were very reasonable and their dismantle/install services were fantastic. Highly recommended. read more

Long overdue, and well deserved. What an awesome experience. I needed to have a 10x20' storage unit moved the next day and these guys were on top of it. Moved everything out and even cleaned the storage unit for me. They were super professional, courteous, hard working, and all around a great group of guys. They added additional packaging materials to ensure all my items reached the new house without issue. Did a great job packing the truck as well and making it in one trip! (Took me 2.5). I had the pleasure of working with Josh Spencer of Moving Solutionz while I assisted my family with a move from Folsom to Rocklin. I was extremely impressed with the team- from their enthusiasm at 9:00am to the same energetic enthusiasm and professionalism that these men maintained even after a gruelling 14 hours. These guys were great! We originally had them come load a pod for us as our new house wasn't ready yet. They were fast, efficient, and extremely professional. When we got the keys to our new house two days before Christmas, we decided to give them a call again. Josh had a couple guys come out within a few hours of our phone call and they moved us in that night in the dark and freezing cold. They were extremely careful about our brand new house and again, were extremely fast and courteous. Without their help we would have never been able to spend Christmas in our new home. I was looking for a mover to move our BBQ grill from one place to another in our backyard. I called moving solutionz and immediately Josh answered the phone. I explained to him briefly what needed to be done and he asked if they can move it that day. Much to his surprise, the BBQ grill weighted a ton. That didn't stop him and his crew. I found Moving Solutionz approximately 5 years ago. I was very impressed with Joshua and his crew so I have continued to use Moving Solutionz with every move and have also recommended the company to family and friends. I moved recently and scheduled the move directly with Joshua. We scheduled the move for 9:00. By 10:00 I had not heard from Joshua so I reached out. At that time he informed me that he would not get to me until noon. I was upset because we had scheduled the move for 9:00 and I waited at my home for him and made arrangements for family to be at the new location. Noon came and went and Joshua had still not communicated with me . Joshua FINALLY made it to my home at 2:00. I have to say I was very disappointed that my whole day was wasted waiting for Joshua and his crew. And what was most upsetting was that he didn't communicate with me that he was going to be late. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Needed some furniture moved this week. I texted Joshua last week asking if he would be available for a quick furniture pick up and drop off. He didn't respond so I followed up a couple of days later. At that time, Joshua let me know that he was out of state but would get back to me. I had to follow up with Joshua numerous times to see if he could accommodate me. Not only did he take hours, if not days to respond, every time he'd respond he would say he'd get back to me. I finally had to find another company. Joshua let me down. I feel he should have just said that he could not help me instead of it coming down to me telling him I had to find another company. Joshua was very quick to respond to my texts when I told him I had found someone else but when I asked if he could help me he was unresponsive. When I told Joshua I found another company his response was "haha ok." Joshua was very unprofessional and came across rude. I DO NOT recommend Moving Solutionz and I highly recommend that Joshua either hire an assistant that is solely there to respond to his messages and manage his calendar AND that he take some classes on running a business. read more

We were left in a huge bind yesterday when our movers failed to show up for our across-town move. Desperate, I put out an SOS on Facebook and a friend referred me to Josh. Within an hour of our call, Josh secured an employee to help - and a truck - and was at our house loading up. This was at 4:00 in the afternoon when the original movers were supposed to arrive between 9:00 and 11:00. We was so desperate at this point, we were willing to take whatever we could get in terms of service and "careful-ness" with our possessions, but we were blown away with Josh and Bradley's work ethic and attention to detail. They were super efficient, and not one piece of furniture was even scratched. I'm sure they were exhausted as it was so late in the day, but both of them were upbeat and positive the entire time. I practically had to beg them to take a break for dinner. They turned a stressful, disaster of a day, into a positive experience and we cannot thank them enough for that. I needed to have an upright piano and a french door fridge moved from Placerville to Granite Bay and got this company as a referral. On very short notice they responded and went right to work. A stairway with a tight turning area was expertly negotiated by Josh and his crew. They assessd and reassessed the turns and had great patience moving the items without damaging them or walls. Very respectful and contientious of owner property and condition of items being moved.
