Loved that they showed up in masks which is really important right now. They worked quickly while also taking extra care with each item. And I cant speak to their positive attitude enough as it was clearly infectious as a passerbyer even made a comment saying "I like your vibe." I highly recommend Moving Solutionz and will definitely be using them for all of our moving needs. read more

Used Moving Solutionz this summer. A few hours after using them our home that we had moved some items from was broken into and robbed. One of the movers asked for the gate code when he arrived and I thought that was odd. Same one also heard that we would be gone for the next 24 hours. ( we had been gone 2 weeks! prior to this move with no issues, my husband even accidentally left our master bedroom window open). After the move, they left the home we were moving things into and an hour and 15 minutes later our main home was broken into. The camera shows that they made 3 trips, probably to a storage unit. Unfortunately. the footage is grainy due to it being an older camera. Now call that coincidence that an hour and 15 minutes after the move our main home was broken into? Then I was quoted a very low amount for the move originally, and I even clarified by text to see if that was correct. Josh sent me a generic text back that did not really answer my question. In the end I pay 3x's more than the original quote. I would stay clear of this company. read more

Kind of bummed at the communication. I used this company back in 2015 and they were awesome. I recently just inquired about an estimate and the first couple of times I got responses, but since then, nothing. And this isn't the first time. I also contacted them in October. I thought I would give a second chance and I did. I ended up finding other movers but it's too bad I didn't get the customer service I did back in 2015. read more

Joshua and James did me right today!! I had a rather "special needs" job and they delivered top notch service. Reasonably priced, careful, considerate, punctual, and so easy to work with. As a Real Estate professional, I need a team I can refer my clients to and know they will receive exceptional service... that's why these guys will be my #1 "go to" movers from now on. read more

Selecting a mover was not an easy task. I called several and read lots of reviews in different places before deciding on Moving Solutionz. Josh was down-to-earth and easy to talk to. The price was not the lowest but it was not the highest either. I just was comfortable talking with him and made the selection based on our phone interaction. I was very happy with the move. Josh came out beforehand to assess things and reconfirm his estimate for the move. He agree to move all of the heavy and awkward stuff that we needed moved (including treadmill and large modular desk). On move day, 4 guys showed up on time and they worked very hard to get everything moved in the one day we had allocated. The entire team was very nice and cordial. No swearing or bad behavior around my two young boys and they all took pride in carefully handling our furniture and other breakables. They wrapped the things that needed to be wrapped and they carefully maneuvered around doorways and across our new floors to move everything without damage or harm. Moving Solutionz removed alot of the stress from our move and they delivered on time and on budget without any major issues. I would definitely use Moving Solutionz again and would recommend them for anybody looking for movers in the Sacramento area. read more

Josh and his team were great! He was easy to get in contact with and quoted me a fair price. On the day of the move, the crew showed up right at e scheduled time. They were very friendly! They were very careful with our things but were also very fast! They moved my family from an upstairs apartment to our home in less than 4 hours. Highly recommend Moving Solutionz read more

Pros: 1. They were nice 2. They offered a 2 hour minimum instead of the standard 3 hour minimum. 3. They were quick Cons: 1. They were late 2. Few items were broken after the move read more

Josh was incredible!!! I've never been a part of a more seamless moving process. From the introduction I felt comfortable with him and trusted him with my belongings. He was professional, courteous, kind, and totally made moving a stress free process. He knew exactly what he was doing, and I can't say enough good things about this experience. I've always known moving to be complicated, but Josh truly made it easy! I would recommend him to anyone needing to move. Save yourself a stress! read more

I needed assistance with a move on short notice. I was concerned that I would not find someone at the last minute. I found Moving Solutionz and called and spoke with the owner-Josh. He was able to work with me and his team came and got the job done efficiently. I was really impressed and I like that Josh took the time to listen to my needs and his company was great. His team was also safety compliant with masks and gloves and well as booties. If I need help with movers again, I will give them a call! read more

Joshua and his team helped us move my in laws from Grass Valley to Merced. Without exception, they were kind, friendly and thorough. Well we all know moving is never fun. Can be physically and mentally exhausting. Not if you hire these guys. Josh and his crew were uber professional. They did not waste any time. Got down to business. Made sure all the furnitures were handled properly. I was amazed how they maneuvered all the furnitures through some tight spots. I definitely will use these guys for my future moving needs. Josh is very meticulous and somewhat perfectionist. Overall great experience with them. Easy with work with and very upbeat. Definitely 5 stars for 'Moving Solutionz' . Thanks you Josh for helping us out.! read more

I had the pleasure of working with Josh Spencer of Moving Solutionz while I assisted my family with a move from Folsom to Rocklin. I was extremely impressed with the team- from their enthusiasm at 9:00am to the same energetic enthusiasm and professionalism that these men maintained even after a gruelling 14 hours. Josh and his crew worked diligently through every aspect of the job- packing, moving, unhooking washer and dryers and hooking everything back up. I work in real estate and I've coordinated moves with moving companies for 20+ years. Moving Solutionz is on the top of my list and I will call Josh with my personal move in the near future. Be advised that this company will do long distance moves and will come to the Bay Area. I'm excited to share this info with my colleagues! read more

This is actually a 4.5 star review but I'm rounding up because Josh and his crew gave such outstanding effort and service on our moving day. We just moved across town but have a biggish house (3000sf), 3 dogs, tons of stuff and I was trying to still work from home during the move. They were accommodating, courteous, safe and very knowledgeable. They really cared for our furniture, even separately transporting some of our paintings in their own private cars instead of in the moving van. The only (minor) snags were 1) my husband needed some wardrobe boxes and had a little trouble prior to and after the move getting and returning the boxes, and 2) one of the moving guys damaged an end table (totally unforeseeable; the poor guy injured himself trying to save the table during the fall) and we had a bit of trouble getting followup with what happened with the table. Josh, however, took responsibility for the accident and is having the damage assessed, which shows good business sense & conscientiousness. The team arrived punctually on the day of the move; their rates were very reasonable and their dismantle/install services were fantastic. Highly recommended. read more

They did an amazing job!! Professional and hard working. They moved my extremely heavy furniture from my 3,400 square ft home down two flights of stairs. No damage to anything. Would highly recommend them. read more

We had Josh and his crew help us move twice. Once when we had PODS that needed to be unloaded and then again when we moved to Oregon from California. Both times Josh and his crew were courteous and professional! They treated our belongings with kid gloves. We really appreciated the way he communicated with his guys, very respectful and positive. We've had other movers in the past that have been really rough around the edges in language and demeanor so dealing with Josh and his crew was so refreshing! We highly recommend Moving Solutionz! read more

Josh and his guys were awesome! From scheduling to loading and unloading, these guys were very professional, courteous, and on time. Our company used them for moving office furniture from one location to another. Hands down, we will definitely use them again! Thanks, Moving Solutionz!!!! read more

We used Moving Solutionz recently and were extremely happy with their work. Josh and his team were incredibly professional, punctual, and took care of our belongings as if they were their own! We've used them 2x and will use them again if we need to. Their prices are very reasonable. We also appreciate they did their hard work but with a smile. Most folks nowadays are always unhappy while at work and consumers know it. Josh's team seem to take pride in their work and it showed. From the time they arrived to the time they left, we knew our belongings were in good hands. We highly recommend them. read more

Josh and Josiah were incredible in helping me move last week! They were on time, courteous and careful, and their prices were very fair for the 5-star service they provided. Great service from these guys! Arrived on time and got the job done in record time especially considering there were only two of them moving all my stuff. These guys were great! We originally had them come load a pod for us as our new house wasn't ready yet. They were fast, efficient, and extremely professional. When we got the keys to our new house two days before Christmas, we decided to give them a call again. Josh had a couple guys come out within a few hours of our phone call and they moved us in that night in the dark and freezing cold. They were extremely careful about our brand new house and again, were extremely fast and courteous. Without their help we would have never been able to spend Christmas in our new home. We've moved five times in as many years and we've never had a good experience like what we had with Moving Solutionz. read more

Again we used this company and the response was out standing. We have a 2 story home and recently bought new bedroom furniture and needed our old removed. We called Moving Solutionz to help move . We have used them twice before, once to move from Yuba city to roseville, then to move other furniture( see other review). Josh and his crew are very professional, take extra fare in moving and very polite. I highly recommend them..... read more

I was looking for a mover to move our BBQ grill from one place to another in our backyard. I called moving solutionz and immediately Josh answered the phone. I explained to him briefly what needed to be done and he asked if they can move it that day. Much to his surprise, the BBQ grill weighted a ton. That didn't stop him and his crew. They moved the grill from second floor to the first floor using stairs. He and his crew did a great job. I will definitely will use this company in the future. Nice people doing business with. He was reasonable, punctual and honest!!! read more

I found Moving Solutionz approximately 5 years ago. I was very impressed with Joshua and his crew so I have continued to use Moving Solutionz with every move and have also recommended the company to family and friends. I moved recently and scheduled the move directly with Joshua. We scheduled the move for 9:00. By 10:00 I had not heard from Joshua so I reached out. At that time he informed me that he would not get to me until noon. I was upset because we had scheduled the move for 9:00 and I waited at my home for him and made arrangements for family to be at the new location. Noon came and went and Joshua had still not communicated with me . Joshua FINALLY made it to my home at 2:00. I have to say I was very disappointed that my whole day was wasted waiting for Joshua and his crew. And what was most upsetting was that he didn't communicate with me that he was going to be late. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Needed some furniture moved this week. I texted Joshua last week asking if he would be available for a quick furniture pick up and drop off. He didn't respond so I followed up a couple of days later. At that time, Joshua let me know that he was out of state but would get back to me. I had to follow up with Joshua numerous times to see if he could accommodate me. Not only did he take hours, if not days to respond, every time he'd respond he would say he'd get back to me. I finally had to find another company. Joshua let me down. I feel he should have just said that he could not help me instead of it coming down to me telling him I had to find another company. Joshua was very quick to respond to my texts when I told him I had found someone else but when I asked if he could help me he was unresponsive. When I told Joshua I found another company his response was "haha ok." Joshua was very unprofessional and came across rude. I DO NOT recommend Moving Solutionz and I highly recommend that Joshua either hire an assistant that is solely there to respond to his messages and manage his calendar AND that he take some classes on running a business. read more

I strongly recommend this moving company. Josh helped us move the contents of my mother's apartment from Grass Valley to San Pablo. Josh met with my mother ahead of time and provided a quote for packing up and moving her items. He and his crew arrived on time, packed up the contents, moved them and helped us unpack, all in one day. They were respectful, careful, and considerate, as well as being hard working. Use them if you want a trust-worthy, solid moving company who honors their quotes. read more

We were left in a huge bind yesterday when our movers failed to show up for our across-town move. Desperate, I put out an SOS on Facebook and a friend referred me to Josh. Within an hour of our call, Josh secured an employee to help - and a truck - and was at our house loading up. This was at 4:00 in the afternoon when the original movers were supposed to arrive between 9:00 and 11:00. We was so desperate at this point, we were willing to take whatever we could get in terms of service and "careful-ness" with our possessions, but we were blown away with Josh and Bradley's work ethic and attention to detail. They were super efficient, and not one piece of furniture was even scratched. I'm sure they were exhausted as it was so late in the day, but both of them were upbeat and positive the entire time. I practically had to beg them to take a break for dinner. They turned a stressful, disaster of a day, into a positive experience and we cannot thank them enough for that. I will be singing their praises on any platform I can and recommending them to anyone needing movers. read more

I needed to have an upright piano and a french door fridge moved from Placerville to Granite Bay and got this company as a referral. On very short notice they responded and went right to work. A stairway with a tight turning area was expertly negotiated by Josh and his crew. They assessd and reassessed the turns and had great patience moving the items without damaging them or walls. Very respectful and contientious of owner property and condition of items being moved. Josh is an expert in his field and building a company reputation based on strength of character, fair pricing and reliability. Great job! Best money I've spent in a long time! I would recommend Josh and his company to anyone looking for a moving company with integrity. read more
