Parking is relatively easy here. The prices at first blush seem pretty high but you'll get 5/5 for portion size and fresh ingredients. My kids love the pickled cabbage that comes with the grilled rice plates here. We've ordered: - Grilled Chicken rice plate (ton of food) - Pork spring rolls (fresh tasting) - General Tso Banh Mi (interesting sounding, but a bit too salty for my taste, but the bread was fresh and not stale) I will say this place is ideal for takeout and be sure to order in advance because they take a considerable while to get the food to you. It's easy to get overwhelmed with the number of choices so ask the staff for suggestions if you know what you like. read more

For low key, takeout Chinese - this is one of my favorite spots near Bellaire. We usually order the chicken with mixed vegetables and wonton soup. We also substitute between the kung pao chicken, and curry chicken dishes. The veggies are consistently fresh and crispy, the chicken portions are respectable, and the all restaurant staff are generous. I do appreciate the free chips that come with the soup and i love that i do not nickeled and dimed for extra chips or condiments. It's not a fancy spot, but a great addition to the neighborhood and a quick, savory takeout meal. read more

first time here, ordered the sesame chicken combo online, it came with wonton soup, 2 crab puffs (your choice of egg roll or crab puff) fried rice & the sesame chicken for a total of $16.30. the amount of food i got for that price was generous. the wonton soup was light & so flavorful, even drank the broth because of how good it was, the crab puffs were crispy & delicious, the fried rice could've used a bit more flavor in my opinion but it tasted great when paired with the sesame chicken, the chicken itself was nicely coated in sauce & seasme seeds, it was a little on the dry side but not a big deal. came with different types of sauces for your liking, i got there 5 minutes before my order was supposed to be ready & the meal was ready to go, inside the area looked clean & the employees greeted me with a smile. safe to say i will be returning to try new dishes. read more

I've ordered here several times before but this time was not so good. I just recently got back from Europe after 3 months and have been ordering UberEats/Postates alot as I have some deals and I'm recovering my knees,feet and ankles from walking 11 to 15 miles per day. I ordered the orange chicken lunch combo. The sauce tasted burnt ruining the whole flavor of the chicken and the broccoli was all over cooked and wilted. The soup and eggroll were meh. The whole meal was just not good and very uninspired. I'm wondering since I ordered via UberEats if when they're clearing people's plates at the restaurant who eat in if they recycle some of the food/sauce. Won't be eating here again unless I get a credit or something and the food is better than this experience. read more

PT6. House Special Pad Thai I have no idea what I'm even eating, it looks like scraps from finished plates. Textures of all the "meats" are horrid. The only thing I can identify is the shrimp. Tried this place cause of a co-worker. This is a small place that hits big. The staff is very nice and the place of very clean. The food is amazing and hot always and fresh. I have yet to finish a portion and I'm on the fully side. I try something new every time and have yet to be disappointed. With alot of asian restaurants in the area this is by far my favorite. read more

I ordered from P King. Got a wonton soup, egg rolls and the mixed veggies. Veggies were legit. Mild and fresh. Egg rolls were spring roll-sized but were true American-Chinese egg rolls. So far so good. The wonton soup has enough MSG in it to kill someone. Yikes. I guess they still put that in food instead of actual flavoring from the food. I feel sick from the MSG. They need to warn people. And it's probably in the egg rolls too. Ugh. read more

Came in after a long day with the intent to order to go. Sometimes you just need some takeout and Netflix, right? Well, that was my plan, but I walked in and felt like I would rather dine in. I was starving and didn't want to do the drive home just yet. I'm glad I did. The service was just fantastic. The employees were chatty, friendly, quick, and helpful. Could not have asked for more. The place was also very clean. They also had some TVs going inside, I believe one was broadcasting a sports game and the other had the Andy Griffith show on. I love that show, so it was a pleasant surprise that I enjoyed. One thing I noticed in particular (that I would not have if I'd ordered to go) is that they seem to have a lot of repeat customers. At one point, a nice family walked in and one of the ladies working smiled and went over to give them all a hug, saying she hadn't seen them in a while and she was glad they were back. I thought it was so sweet! At least one other regular came in while I was there. For my meal, I ordered the sesame chicken dinner combo, and it comes with several options for sides. I ordered wonton soup, steamed rice, and an egg roll along with the entree. I did not realize how much food I ordered! The price is unbeatable for the amount of food. For just around $10, I got a HUGE plate of sesame chicken with nicely done fresh broccoli, a good helping of rice, flavorful egg roll, and a side soup. It was all delicious, although the wonton soup was a bit lacking in flavor for my taste. The wontons in particular hardly had any flavor; I might order egg drop next time. But everything was overall still very tasty, presented with care, and definitely worth the money. I will definitely be coming back to this place again! For your typical "Americanized" Chinese food, this is the place to go. Fantastic service and good quality food. FYIs: you can dine in, call ahead, or walk in and order to go. Smaller parking lot shared with a bank, but does not seem to be an issue. Big menu with lots of options-by far the best deal is the lunch and dinner combos. read more

Ordered for the first time today and I think I've found my new chinese take out spot! I ordered the General Tso's and Sweet and Sour Chicken lunch combo and it arrived piping hot, the driver actually called to let me know he was otw which is greatly appreciated! Food was delicious, egg rolls were crispy and they packed extra sauces and chinese won ton strips. The food came in cute take out cartons. Great job getting my modifications right on DoorDash which was actually an addition. Spicy chicken combo was good but not at all spicy. I like that you can choose a vegetable egg roll instead of pork. Sliced white chicken in a light sauce. Probably one of the healthiest options. My coworker and I ordered dinner from your restaurant tonight. I was excited about the teriyaki chicken on the menu so ofcourse that's what I ordered. The chicken unfortunately was killed three times and burned at the stake twice. It's so burned I could write a note on paper with the charred pieces. How dare you charge 12 bucks for this dish and not have enough respect for your patrons hard earned money not to serve the the best freshest ingredients? I want my money back! I could smell it...perfectly located between work and home so I'm excited to become a regular here! A bit on the higher pricing so be prepared...however I had No issues with the pricing because it was definitely worth every penny! I think this will be my new Chinese food go to. Located in the nice community of Bellaire, very convenient location to where I live. They have a few tables and chairs outside if you choose to enjoy a beautiful day. The restaurant itself has a small inside dining area, but for their traffic flow, I am sure it's perfect. I usually just order to go. I last ordered their egg drop soup and shrimp fried rice. The shrimp fried rice was fresh and very tasty. The fried noodles that comr along with the egg drop soup were very greasy, but I enjoyed anyway. The soup itself was really good. If your looking for a good quick Chinese food fix, this is the place. read more

I ordered pickup from this Chinese restaurant and it was WORTH IT!! I had two dinner combos: one with Brown rice one with fried rice. Sweet and sour chicken and Garlic shrimp. The garlic shrimp is super saucey but the ingredients of the entree are extremely fresh. The sweet and sour chicken was piping hot and fresh. I didn't love the flavor of the cream cheese puff but the egg drop soup is one of the best I've ever had in Houston. The brown rice was also very tender and good all by itself. The restaurant is located off 59 feeder and parking can be challenging at times. The restaurant is clean and usually quite busy. The staff is nice and straightforward. The dishes that you must get are the Sichuan style Biang noodle or the regular Biang noodle. The noodles are freshly made and super long and thick. The sauce is so delicious and pairs so well with the perfectly chewy noodles. The amazing fish is also a must order dish. They use flounder that nicely seasoned and coated with a perfect coating that is crispy and so addictingly delectable. Somehow it is so light and crispy and doesn't feel greasy. My diagnosis: come here for scrumptious amazing fish and Biang Biang noodles!

(We tried having a team lunch at the Rice Village location during the cold front last Oct but they had no heat so we opted for a warmer place but she grabbed a to go on the way home) Here we are for a late lunch 3:45 pm on a Friday. Parking was none had to drive around the block and saw some movement and bam, someone was leaving. We ordered at the bar, staff was super nice and opted to sit outside. Did not realize they deliver to the table. Order: Mongolian beef combo with fried rice and egg roll $14.99 The food comes in takeaway style containers. Win. Mongolian beef (2.5/5) - slightly over sauced for me; beef was pretty tender and there were carrots and edamame which is not the standard so maybe that's what makes it fusion? Fried rice (3/5) - standard style fried with small pieces of bean sprouts which I love so that was a nice surprise Egg roll (3/5) - I assume it was chicken because I didn't realize there was a choice) - it was crunchy and soft on the inside which I like, and pairs well with sriracha (did not eat till I got home) They seem to do a whole lot of take away. The staff were nice and hard working. I was excited when they first opened bc they had chow fun on the menu and being HK Cantonese, I love that dish but when I ordered it the 1st and 2nd time eight years ago instead of bean sprouts they had cabbage and that alters rhe flavor tremendously. I see why it's popular among the people but just don't think it is for my taste.

The vibes were so reminiscent of Fairview. Food was really good, yummy! Pretty large portions and large shrimp in both dishes we got. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly Sichuan. Parking lot is tinnnnnny but we luckily snagged a spot as someone was walking out. Inside is small, maybe less than 15 tables (idk, I'm really bad at gauging). Staff is workin' working, between just the two of them they did great- they were very busy. Pleasantly surprised and refreshed my memory. I feel like I had put CG off my radar since then discovering some other fave Sichuan places. This will be going back on my list, and v close to home

She immediately asked what we wanted in a rude tone, which set an uncomfortable atmosphere from the start. There was a sign on the table advertising a "free appetizer" if you take a photo and tag the restaurant on social media. I followed the instructions exactly as stated, but when I mentioned it, the server initially refused to honor the promotion. After I pointed out the sign, she appeared upset and walked away. I saw she went to speak to another employee and cracked a smiled and looked over. She later returned and offered a small discount instead. The issue wasn't about the money or the discount, it was the principle. The promotion was clearly advertised, and I simply followed the restaurant's own policy. It was disappointing to feel like the restaurant was reluctant to honor something they were actively promoting. I hope management addresses this because customer service and consistency with advertised promotions make a big difference in the overall dining experience.
