    Shrimp fried rice

Man.... That guy on TikTok tricked me. He was licking his fingers... food was ok, but it wasn't finger licking good. Is this place supposed to be Asian? I didn't taste any umami. If not, it was ok. I was disappointed... oh, wings were flavorful and spicy. They were good. Would I go back? Like 90% sure that I'm not going back anytime soon.

I love a good, no frills American style-Chinese food/takeout restaurant serving all the usual favorites. W Kitchen is a great place to go for food taste, value, and service. No complaints. First off, parking was plentiful. Walking inside we were quickly treated and seated. The restaurant is clean and inviting. The menu is quite extensive - but I went with as basic as I could...if you can nail these dishes down, A+ in my books. Chicken and broccoli - very good! No complaints, can get made in brown or white sauce. A good portion too. Chicken wings and fried rice - excellent. Big wings, crispy, fried rice was great. No complaints again. Service was excellent, price point was good. Will be back!

Small restaurant that's tucked away in some corner somewhere. Pretty busy though. Staff was nice. The general chicken was good. Big pieces which I appreciated deeply. Two pieces of broccoli hurt a bit. But the fried rice was a big no for me. Not only did it not have any meat in it. But barely any egg. Barely any flavor. No veggies. And I paid 4$ in upgrade for it. Complete let down. 4 star for the chicken. 1 star for what they considered a "fried rice"

Cheers to a late night Chinese spot! When it's late, you have to walk up to the window and order for takeout. I ordered my orange chicken and waited in the car afterwards. Food came out relatively quick. The orange chicken was quite saucy and included orange peels which I thought gave it a nice citrusy touch! I would've preferred a bit more broccoli. The fried rice was whatever to me... not much flavor or toppings. Just plain egg fried rice. I would get regular white rice next time.

About to check this out.. one thing I can say.. this spot is busy!!!! Talk about revolving door.. rubbing hands together .. good sign

So I came back to try again. The staff is always super friendly and I know they cook to order but that doesn't mean it tastes good. My rice was super mushy and full of rice clumps, my pork bbq ribs were full sized and not nearly as grilled or bbq'd like I'm used too. This was a terrible meal and I spent $30. The chicken egg roll was okay and the shrimp tempura was fine just didn't have any flavor. I know I'm not coming back again now

this place was great. Service was fast and friendly. I would describe it as an elevated dive, if that's a thing. The food was hot and fresh. The sesame chicken was a little saucy for my liking, but the meat is some of the best terms of quality. I recognized for a quality meal and fair price and extremely quick service.

Went again ordered the exact same thing. Everything was sweet instead of spicy. No Bueno. I guess my search for decent chinese food will continue.

The food and staff were amazing! The portions were huge and affordable. I wish they had two salt and pepper tofu was actually salt and pepper instead of a chili vinaigrette (thats what it tasted like). Our sever was very nice and always checked up on us. I really enjoyed the lo mein. The walnut shrimp was delicious. The orange chicken was not too tangy and very crispy, not soggy like most place. Will definitely come back and order with them. The cheese puffs were big and yummy! Upgraded our white rice to shrimp fried rice, great portion! The sauce for the Lemon Katsu Chicken tasted weird, almost like cleaning products, so we only ate the chicken.

The orange beef and the fried fish & shrimp rocked our world. So yummy! The service was great, especially our waitress. It's simple inside, and feels open and clean with good light coming in through the windows. Almost forgot to mention: there's a large screen tv showing someone's walk through a city in China, which gave a real traveler's feel.

How does shrimp fried rice compare to 88 Boil? And is the General Joe crispy?

    Do you all use MSG?

We don’t use msg while cooking, but a lot of ingredients contain msg itself when we prepared our sauces such as soy sauce is one of them. I hope that help

On my most recent visit we ordered mapo tofu with pork intestines off the specials menu - a hybrid of two of my favorite Sichuan-style dishes. The blend of bouncy, savory morsels amidst tender, saucy tofu was at once revolutionary and so obvious; why hadn't I yet seen this at any other restaurant? And sure, innards may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's important for you to know that none of my past orders from the 50+ item menu have ever failed me, whether enjoyed in the restaurant or at home. Maybe you'd prefer the aromatic, classic, perfectly balanced three-cup chicken? Or the sweet-skinned duck, glazed so delicately that specks of sugar crystal threaten to jump off onto the plate as you pick up a juicy slice with your chopsticks? And if you're vegetarian, might you consider the punchy garlic eggplant or the wok-kissed string beans? I could go on. Do yourself a favor and come see for yourself, though I'd recommend parallel parking on the neighborhood streets behind the restaurant rather than the rocky parking lot, to save you some trouble. Bring friends and chow down family style - you'll need help covering as much of the menu as you can, but you'll definitely have to come back to try everything.

Dishes like Szechuan Spicy Chicken is still one of my favorite, and Garlic Snow Pea Leaves are delicious when in season. Bamboo House still holds its place as great spot for group dining. The portion is generous, prices are fair, and overall a solid restaurant that's still worth recommending.

My friend Aurora wanted to meet Donna early dinner and gossip session and she really liked this place. (We tried having a team lunch at the Rice Village location during the cold front last Oct but they had no heat so we opted for a warmer place but she grabbed a to go on the way home) Here we are for a late lunch 3:45 pm on a Friday. Parking was none had to drive around the block and saw some movement and bam, someone was leaving. We ordered at the bar, staff was super nice and opted to sit outside. Did not realize they deliver to the table. Order: Mongolian beef combo with fried rice and egg roll $14.99 The food comes in takeaway style containers. Win. Mongolian beef (2.5/5) - slightly over sauced for me; beef was pretty tender and there were carrots and edamame which is not the standard so maybe that's what makes it fusion? Fried rice (3/5) - standard style fried with small pieces of bean sprouts which I love so that was a nice surprise Egg roll (3/5) - I assume it was chicken because I didn't realize there was a choice) - it was crunchy and soft on the inside which I like, and pairs well with sriracha (did not eat till I got home) They seem to do a whole lot of take away. The staff were nice and hard working. I was excited when they first opened bc they had chow fun on the menu and being HK Cantonese, I love that dish but when I ordered it the 1st and 2nd time eight years ago instead of bean sprouts they had cabbage and that alters rhe flavor tremendously. I see why it's popular among the people but just don't think it is for my taste.

She immediately asked what we wanted in a rude tone, which set an uncomfortable atmosphere from the start. There was a sign on the table advertising a "free appetizer" if you take a photo and tag the restaurant on social media. I followed the instructions exactly as stated, but when I mentioned it, the server initially refused to honor the promotion. After I pointed out the sign, she appeared upset and walked away. I saw she went to speak to another employee and cracked a smiled and looked over. She later returned and offered a small discount instead. The issue wasn't about the money or the discount, it was the principle. The promotion was clearly advertised, and I simply followed the restaurant's own policy. It was disappointing to feel like the restaurant was reluctant to honor something they were actively promoting. I hope management addresses this because customer service and consistency with advertised promotions make a big difference in the overall dining experience.
