We've ordered from W Kitchen a couple of times before and this time was so disappointing that we couldn't eat most of it! The Chicken LoMein was bland and tasted funny, same for the pork fried rice. Tasted like old grease maybe. The Egg Drop soup had no taste and had sooo many egg shells in it, we couldn't eat it. Nothing like having crunchy egg shells in your soup! I've never had that happen before at any Chinese restaurant and egg drop is my fave! The fried pork dumplings were completely overcooked and dry. We placed a huge $80 order and the only thing we enjoyed were the egg rolls and fried chicken wings, & the rest was pretty much inedible. Garlic fried rice was my least favorite. I ordered spicy but the seasoning they used was very off putting. Unfortunately, the rice tasted a bit stale. I will say that they did serve very large portions for the price. I would consider these prices very affordable compared to other Chinese restaurants that I've been to. I don't eat pork, that is to say only when the hubby is out of town long enough for me to eat it and then get it out of my system! Anyways lol I also ordered the bbq ribs, which I hadn't had since I was a kid because well I don't ordinarily eat pork so I forget all about them! I was genuinely pleased at the taste, it brought back many childhood memories and I was was so surprised at how the taste was exactly how I remembered it!
