Don't waste your hard earned money at this place. It used to be very good, especially the service, which was years ago--like 2006. It's terrible now.
Just went a few hours ago because the boyfriend was in the mood, even though we both knew going here was a bad idea.
From the moment you go through the revolving door the hostesses are slumping over the podium and don't even greet you or smile. Not to mention their unprofessional attire. One of them was wearing spandex almost see through her buttcrack leggings and black Keds shoes. Really? The other was wearing combat boots and blue jeans.
Then when I turn to my right, the manager, who I assume he was, since he wasn't wearing black, wearing a checkered/plaid flannel button down and jeans walks by. Makes eye contact but doesn't greet you either.
Like I said, this place has changed for the worst.
Our waiter sucked royally. I hope someone from this restaurant reads this and hopefully can point out who I am referring to. Our waiter who was a short dark haired Hispanic man with an earring I believe. To make a long story short, this guy barely said a word to us, never looked happy, never looked enthusiastic, never smiled. All he said was "everything ok?" with no facial expression. Way to make our dining experience awkward. He started us off by asking what we would like to drink and I asked for the drinks menu since we did not receive one, not to mention any silverware/handkerchiefs. He seemed ticked but gave one to me.
Between getting our starter (calamari, which also sucks now, very rubbery and was not warm or hot when it came out) and getting my drink that I ordered, it took probably 25 minutes. My bf had to literally wave in his face because he kept walking by and never glanced over at us--to ask for my drink that I ordered.
Entrees were OK. Even our food server was much, much nicer than our waiter. Another waiter was handing out our entrees then realized she made a mistake and said it was for the couple behind us.
Wait time for our waiter to come to our table to pack our food: 20 minutes.
Wait time for our waiter to give us the check: 20 minutes...which after handing it to my boyfriend's hand and putting our credit card in it, he left right away.
Wait time for our waiter to come back to our table to grab the check and our credit card: 15 minutes.
Wait time for our waiter to give us back the receipt and credit card: another G.D 15 minutes. I kept seeing him walk back and forth in front of me with our credit card holder in his apron. It was as if he was torturing us. He also kept chit chatting with the nerdy manager.
All in all, writing this review is making me exhausted because our experience was so exhausting. At one point I had to put my face in my hands because I was so tired of waiting and waiting and waiting. The couple to the left of me was also getting annoyed, they too had the same waiter and the guy was tapping his chopsticks very hard on the table. Poor dude just wanted his appetizer.
Everytime we received something from our waiter he wouldn't say a word or even look at us. He would place our check on the table while looking the other way.
We finally get our receipt and credit card back and my boyfriend was so ticked that we just walked out. But he realized he forgot to do something: sign the receipt!
He signed the receipt and gave $0 tip, which this waiter so rightfully deserves fair and square. Very sick of bad restaurant service and yes, that is how waiters make a living, but if you give sh*t service, be prepared to receive sh*t tip or no tip.
I truly hope the staff of this PF Chang sees this review.
Maybe some of the waiters need to do a course of the game "DINER DASH" and learn how to prioritize their tasks and customers and not make them wait until someone passes out from hypoglycemia.
Anyone reading this, you are all better off buying their frozen PF Changs prepared foods at Target. This is obviously my last time going to this place. read more
