So disappointed, went in at 3pm, only three tables were seated. We stood at the host stand for 5 mins, finally seated, waited at the table for a server for almost 7 mins. I received a gift card for DoorDash and wanted to treat my fiancé and I to a nice meal. I figured based off the reputation of P.F. Chang's, we would get a great meal out of it. We ordered their Dynamite Shrimp which was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed the sauce that it came with. We also ordered the crispy honey chicken and beef and broccoli. We really appreciated the portions that were provided considering it was delivered. However, the beef was not very tender and the sauce from the beef and broccoli was not very flavorful. For the honey chicken I felt like there wasn't enough sauce/ flavor to combine with the rice of the dish. We were fairly disappointed that such a highly praised restaurant turned out to be very mediocre, especially considering their prices are more expensive than other places. read more

Our food server was nice but forgot to give us forks, napkins and chop stick; so we were eating with the won ton soup spoon, he literally forgot about us, it was horrible. The food was excellent. Too slow. Business was veey slow, but we still had to wait 20 minutes for an outside table (Covid). Finally, the front desk was kind enough to find us a secluded table inside. Dining at the Augusta PF Chang's today was bar-none the worst experience at any restaurant I've dined in a long time. We were sat promptly but everything went downhill soon after that. First: The location is super worn down. You can see where the tables need to be polished, the dust in the ceilings, cracks on the seats, etc. Second: Service was incredibly slow even for a VERY slow Sunday. The waitress was not attentive at all and took forever to come back to the table whenever we asked for anything. Some of our food was actually brought out by other people and she didn't notice until we had finished the plates. Third: Food was atrocious. We ordered some pork dumplings as appetizers and they were brought out last. The sushi we ordered tasted like it was frozen prior to being served, surely not fresh. The main dishes we ordered took over 30 minutes to come out... again, on a clearly slow day. Back to the dumplings: they came out last, at about the 45 minute mark and they were COLD.... so, so bad. We told the waitress and asked if they could be taken off our ticket, she said sure, left and came back 5 minutes later with another order of the dumplings. They were hot but not what we asked for. She also re-printed the receipt and, even though she said the manager would take it off, they just took 50% off the dumplings. I consider us pretty good customers. We eat out quite a bit in town, and whichever city we visit. As I wrote earlier, this was absolutely, no comparison, the worst experience I've had dining out in town in the 3 1/2 years I've lived here. read more

Warehouse Chinese food in a pretty setting at a premium over the top price. I have been twice for lunch and now for dinner, no difference. I keep asking myself where is the meat .... doesn't matter if it is fowl, fish or meat. I could understand that a dish featuring lobster may not have 6 oz of lobster meat but 5 tiny pieces ???? Aside from the lack of protein ( you even get to play tofu hunter ), every selection I have had has been bland and lacked any kind of flavor. As of right now I will not be back to any P. F. I was glad I was given a gift card because if I had paid for that food I'd have been quite upset! Our server was great. And now for the rest of the story... We ordered the two for 39.95 which included a choice of soup each, one appetizer, an entree each and a dessert to share. I ordered hit and sour soup and my friend egg drop soup. When I got my soup, I thought it was awful dark. It looked like brown gravy. After a spoonful, I discovered why. It was made with beef base that's used to make brown gravies, veggie beef soup etc. My friend's soup was also made with a base -- chicken base. It tasted like chicken noodle soup. The salt & pepper calamari was lukewarm and had the salt and pepper in a bowl on the side. It was sad and bland. A manager did ask was everything ok and I told him the above and he didn't really know what to say. I told him it was ok. (I still had a couple if dished to eat!). We got our Kung Pao Shrimp with white rice and there was plenty of shrimp and it was hot. However, what makes Kung Pao, Kung Pao is the Kung Pao pepper that's used in it's preparation. I grow them and the peppers used were not Kung Pao peppers. I guess if you don't care about what kind if pepper was used, it wouldn't matter, but being a chilehead I do. All peppers have different heat levels and flavors. I had to add srirachi to get some heat to my dish. I brought dessert home and have yet to eat it. It was crowded, noisy and the music was David Bowie, Marvin Gaye whom I like, I just wasn't expecting to hear it in there. I would have thought that an upscale restaurant with such high prices (some appetizers as high as $15.95, entrees higher) would not skimp on authenticity. This branch of PFChangs is just okay. It's not that busy and yet we were waiting quite a while for the food. The dumplings were light and fresh and the Chang rice was enjoyable as always. The food is good for a quick bite....it's the lack of great service that kills it. Tonight was our second visit to PF Chang's. I wasn't very impressed the first visit but decided to give it one more go. I'm very glad I did because tonight was fabulous. We were seated immediately as it was 5pm on a Wednesday afternoon and there was hardly anyone there. The booths are very comfy and roomy, which is great because none of my kids have to sit close enough to play "I'm not touching you". Our waitress, Ruby, was at our table quickly to take our drink orders. When she came to get our dinner orders she told me the secret to making this dinner spectacular. We could substitute tofu for any of the meat. Y'all, angels sang. Or maybe that was just me but hey, someone was singing praises. I explained that I'm vegan and since it's "family style" I'd appreciate all the dishes being made okay for me to eat. She said it was no problem and even helped me figure out which type of tofu I wanted. I ordered the Sweet and Sour chicken with tofu as the substitute and my daughter ordered veggie lo mein. We both agreed on white rice as the side. The other kid got a California roll for dinner ( not vegan or sharing). While we waited for our dinner we snacked on the Spring Roll appetizer and it was delicious. Our food didn't take long to come out, maybe 15-20 minutes. Ruby set up the table with the main dishes and gave us each a plate to be made. She even brought an plate for the kid with the California roll so she could eat our food. Portions were perfect for three or four people. And the taste..... was heaven. Seriously, I was thrilled with all of it. The lo mein has perfect amount of sauce and not too many veggies. The tofu was cooked just right. Hell even the white rice was good. Our total was right around $50 (I did order a margarita, also yummy). Totally worth the cost! Tonight was the worst dinner ever. We ordered pad thai, bulgoggi steak, and Buddha's feast. The bulgoggi was canceled without a proper notice, so we had to wrangle on phone. No luck with that. When they finally arrived (after more than an hour of waiting), I was appalled to see my meal: the Buddha's feast came uncooked. RAW!! Raw mushroom, no tofu, no sauce, and absolutely no heat. I have never done this... but If I can save someone else the trouble and headache that we just had, then this will be worth it. I have always loved PF Chang's, but the Augusta, GA restaurant ruined that tonight. First of all, we had a reservation for 7:30 that they "couldn't find", so we weren't even seated until after 8:00. We had three small children with us, and 2 of them were asleep in the booth before we even got our food (close to 9:00). We were at the restaurant for over two hours and I didn't get a single drink refill the entire time. We didn't get plates or utensils until after our food arrived and we had to ask for them multiple times. The entrees (that come with rice) were delivered without rice. And we asked about that multiple times. After we'd had our food for at least 20-30 minutes, we finally told them to cancel the rice. Through all of this, we spent over 2 hours in the restaurant and spent over $200 on the worst service of my life. No compensation was offered, but a quick apology was given from the waiter when he said "sorry, the kitchen is crazy tonight." Unfortunately, it was clearly not just the kitchen. The waiter was the most responsive when he delivered our checks and waited to see what his tip would be. We did, of course, tip, but the best tip I can give is DON'T go to the PF Chang's in Augusta. I come to Augusta every other week for work and always have a meal at PF Chang's. Never ever had an issue until tonight; when we first got there our waitress was rushing to take our orders, the sweet tea was horrible, appetizers good... 25 minutes pass by our meal still didn't come, my friend called the manager over he says he will check, comes back say the chef didn't like how something came out he's making it over... Finally it comes out my tofu was hot but my broccoli ICE COLD same with my wife's plate.. We asked for the manager he never came over, didn't acknowledge any thing just took the meal off our bill. Thai Harvest Curry is a good option for vegetarians (personally I don't like tofu so I ask to have the veggies without the tofu). My friend had pepper steak and said it was good. Their strawberry cheesecake is delicious! All the other cheesecakes I've had before was too rich in sweetness flavor except this one in my honest opinion! The plating was a beautiful presentation! Very disappointing. An easy evaluation of a Chinese restaurant is to try the hot and sour soup. It is a hallmark dish. They should rename theirs brown and bland. It literally had no discernible taste. It wasn't served hot, it wasn't spicy, it wasn't sour. I couldn't eat more than a couple of bites. The Peking duck meat was fine, but the medley of vegetables was a tasteless assortment of uncooked fluff. Nice environment, very good service, irritating music. We've stuck it out this long because we have some hungry kids, not sure we'll wait much longer. Appetizer just arrived, super small portion. Time for an update, 1 1/2 hours in. We did get most of our food but it was wrong. We all ordered bowls but everything came out as entrees, they did adjust the billing. One of the bowls did not come with the entrees, had to wait for the last bowl. On a good note the food tasted ok and we have plenty for later if we decide to take it with us. Our second waitress really was pleasant and tried to make it all right. Won't be back, third time we've had a bad experience, two different locations. Those place used to be one of my favorites. It was consistent. Lately it has been consistently bad. The Asian pear mojito had not refreshing flavor to it anymore. Well, today was my first ever visit to a P.F. Chang's, not even in my own hometown, but there's a first for everything. While my wife and daughter really liked the one near our home, I was looking forward to my first trip and I gotta say.....not overly impressed. The staff and service was fine, the interior, despite being a little too dark, wasn't bad (except for the way too loud music). For me, I was expecting this insanely good cuisine and I thought it was just so-so. Partly due to only two rice options with the entree....white or brown. If you want fried rice, you order it as a side, so you end up with double rice. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken which was kinda soft. The fried rice was okay, but I've had better. Now the pan fried pork dumplings we had as an appetizer were very good. All in all, it just wasn't up to all the hype, but I will try the one in my town as a comparison. read more

I don't get to visit P.F. Chang's often, so whenever I am near one, I like to visit. We were met by a friendly host who informed us that they were no longer accepting walk-ins at 7:45pm. Another hostess rudely said there would be an hour long wait, although the restaurant did not seem full. I decided to go to the car and make a reservation for 8:15pm. We were in our seat by 8:03pm. I understand the restaurant may be understaffed, but why allow 4 People to handle the front when they can help instead of turning away dozens of potential patrons. Overall the experience became better once we were seated. Our server, Mya, was kind and attentive to our dietary needs and we as willing and able to answer whatever questions we had. The food was ok. P.F. Chang's is typically a more upscale Asian restaurants to dine in. The location for this restaurant is decent and is located just outside the augusta mall (within walking distance). Inside the restaurant is actually pretty nice with optional outdoor patio seating. However, when my wife and I dined here we requested patio seating but it was unavailable because it's only during certain times of the day (ie night). Not sure why they would limit this option, as it was a beautiful spring day in the mid-70s here in augusta at the time. Anyway, the food we ordered turned out decent and tasty. We ordered the crab wontons for an appetizer and then got the Chang's spicy chicken and the sea made chicken which both turned out good. However, service was slow (with very few tables occupied). Tried ordering an Asian beer while I was there as well, but it was out of stock. Instead I resorted to what's on draft. Made reservations with OpenTable but the waitress had significant trouble logging in to the system to check us in (took about 5 minutes as she had to reset the account). This was the final attempt on my end to redeem PFChang Augusta GA. This restaurant has taken a nose dive. The unavailability of oolong tea has occurred on 3 of my 4 last visits. A tab with tip of $260.00 for 4 guests was outrageous for the quality of the food served. The best words to describe the dishes are greasy, salty and slimy. The food actually slides off your plate in a greasy trail when a cut is attempted. The caesar salad was slimy as well. Save yourself the trip and disappointment. read more

Ate here during Masters week for lunch with my daughter. Their legendary chicken lettuce wraps did not disappoint. Huge portion for an appetizer. We made 7 wraps. The large shrimp wonton soup was decent. The walnut shrimps with melon balls was better than average. Again portion was more than enough for us 2.
