    A LIE!!!

    I bought a $3000 mattress from here 1 year ago and there's valley in the middle of it. PC Richard's refuses to exchange it even though the receipt says 10 year warranty. They said to call Sterns and Foster. When called S&F they said go back to where I bought it. Horrible customer service and their warranty is not worth the paper it's written on.

    Frankie P. is the best sales associate at this store. He was very patient with me and although I needed 6 appliances and my anxiety was through the roof, he went through each one explaining to me the differences which made me feel at ease. If you're ever in the neighborhood and need any electronics or appliances make sure you ask to be helped by Frankie. You can even call the store and ask for him if you have any questions. Thanks again Frankie, keep up the good work!

    I'll make it short and sweet: if you don't want to get completely screwed with getting an appliance delivered, go elsewhere. This was the worst customer experience I've had in my life. TLDR: I've been shopping at P.C. Richard and Son since I was a kid. I recently bought a $2k LG washer and dryer tower at this location. They scheduled the delivery promptly with a 'white glove service' delivery crew. On the date of the delivery, the delivery window of 7:46-10:45 came and went. They called at 4pm saying the unit was damaged and I could still get it delivered if I wanted. I'm good on that. They rescheduled the delivery in 2 days and gave me $100 discount for the inconvenience. Awesome. The 2nd delivery date came and I got a call at 8 am from the delivery driver saying they would be there at 9am. Everything was working out. No show. I called P.C. Richard and Son at noon and they apologized and said the owner of the delivery company would personally come to the house in 30 min. At 1pm they finally arrived. The guy apologized. The unit ended up being so big that it had to be taken apart in order to fit into the house. Luckily, my GC was at the house and said he would do it. The YouTube video for the unit showed the process (I guess it's a thing with this appliance) which was literally 2 minutes long and involved 5 screws. The owner of the delivery company said that although they were 4 hours late, he was busy and would not wait the 5 minutes while the unit was disassembled. He then loaded the unit back on the truck and parked up the block from my house and sat there for 45 minutes, while I was on the phone with P.C. Richard & Son, getting a refund for the appliance. They processed the return and I had BestBuy deliver it the next day, no issues. Problem solved, but there was a lesson learned; never buy anything from P.C. Richard & Son. P.S. Martin the manager at the store is a nice guy and apologized that this happened, although he couldn't do anything about it.

    PART 2: BAD STAFF! DO NOT COME HERE! Continuation of Part 1…read moreon GoogIe Reviews Employee's description: She is dark-skinned, was wearing a grey beanie/wrap on her head during the time. She was present on July 30 at 7 PM at the Mattress Firm on 4th ave and 86 St. (Points 1-5 on GoogIe Reviews) 6. She lies a lot, first claiming the pillow we were looking for is no longer there (even though it was there just a couple days ago), then she switches up and says it's there, but on another bed, then we felt the pillows that she claimed are all the same and are the ones we are looking for, and it turned out each one of them was different (different heights, different material inside, different cooling system, different cases, basically everything) from each other and also different from what we saw and wanted a few days prior. But apparently she has "10 years of experience in this store". In those so-called "10 years", was she ever trained or checked? Because as we can all see, this is not the first complaint against her. She also lies about what the other employee told her over the phone and in-store. He said we can take it home the same day, and she says we can't and talks appallingly. 7. Then she blames all her lies on us and says that we're the ones who can't understand, and proceeds to laugh at us. Rather, we left the store laughing at HER because we know that she's well aware that she's the messed up one on the inside and is taking it out on other people. In reality, she is laughing at herself, as she should. Again, her personal issues at home shouldn't be brought into a workplace, it is unacceptable! 8. When we headed to the door and she saw us leaving, she finally got up! - but to do what?? Not to help, but to do more problems... She came and followed us to the door and yelled at us in a rude tone while we were exiting. Again, we can't emphasize how disgusting her behavior was, and she was trying to cover up and make it look like she's the one kicking us out because she saw us leaving disgusted and she didn't want a bad look on her in that moment so she tried to the turn the tables. Fortunately she failed because people all around know her ways and can see this store has no customers, for a reason. The bad look has always been on her judging by how she was behaving and by the reviews about her online, and it will always be. I don't think any store appreciates a worker who takes their success and earnings away. Not a nice title for the store to have her as a worker. Do not hire workers like her who project their life issues, insecurities, and anger problems on customers, especially customers who are already interested and just about to buy. I found my products in a different store, with wonderful employees who were willing to do the job they signed up for, unlike her. Now we see why the store has no customers and is always empty!

He was detailed in describing the various inventory the store had and helped me find a mattress suitable for my needs. I am very satisfied with my purchase as well as the customer service he provided. He also helped me obtain financing for my purchase. Ask for Eddie when you visit this store.
