Spend $40 and you get a turkey. They were out of stock on items so different item was chosen. So the person that has a very nasty attitude rolled her eyes when the question was asked, why wasn't the turkey included. She started saying it was charged per pound, meanwhile that was never stated on the flyer. Some people like to shop here while others love to shop here. I thought about coming back for the prices ... The food seems to mostly Private Label / Store Brands, around 90% of Aldi's products are its own brands. Which helps keep prices low, but the quality is taken seriously Aldi tests its products. When I finally found someone, one lady was very helpful, and I appreciated her assistance. The environment isn't designed to feel upscale. It's about practicality and keeping costs low. Bagging is selfserve; carts require a quarter deposit, which reinforces the no frills model. The checkout experience was disappointing. The cashier wasn't friendly and didn't answer my question. Luckily, the supervisor stepped in and took the time to answer it, which I did appreciate. Overall, my first visit had a couple of positive moments, but the difficulty navigating the store and the poor customer service at checkout left me unimpressed. I hope future visits are better.

They also have a good selection (including some hard to get items) of fruits and vegetables. The deli counter is smaller than you're used to in a Stop and Shop or King Kullen but they seem to have a full selection of items here. On top of being well stocked and clean there management has been very helpful to my Kiwanis club by letting us hold a regular food drive here.
