To get in you have to walk outside for about a block just to get into the store. If I have to walk out of the building, it will be to my car, not to this Walgreens, especially in inclement weather. I had about 20 items and had coupons for them so he scanned everything while huffing and puffing and then I gave him the coupons and he looked like he was so annoyed. Then while he was scanning them said "the stores gonna lose money like this". I was so appalled. I'm using coupons that I got from spending money AT Walgreens but regardless how inappropriate! This is the rudest thing I've ever had a cashier say to me. If I wasn't so baffle I would have gone and spoken to a manager but I truly could not believe he said that. Once my receipt and coupons printed he crumpled them up in his hands and shoved them at me. Next time I'll go out of my way to the next Walgreens just to avoid this one. Terrible.

Besides their many brewed coffees, they also have a machine that brews espresso and macchiato!! This is usually my go-to! An iced macchiato with extra shots of espresso. I saw three people that clearly did not have on masks leaving. When I walked in, it got worst. Not only were there patrons in the store just standing around unchallenged without mask, so were the workers. The man behind the counter was serving food to customers and checking out without a mask. The manager (in the gray shirt) was stocking shelves on the floor sans a mask. When I asked the manager why no one was wearing he mask, he immediately became belligerent. He asked, "Why are you asking". I said because no one is following the NYS state regulation. He told me, "I don't care, report me." in elevated tone as he walked towards me in threatening manner. I told him I will report it to the Board of Health in Hempstead. He rebutted with, "Good, I now refuse you service". Neither worker even had a mask lowered on their face in ready to follow the regulations. There was NO MASK AT ALL. This is a blatant disregard for the law and our health. What is more concerning is the fact the manager is modeling this behavior for his workers and patrons.

I feel welcome and at home when I go into this small simple delicatessen it reminds me of the times…read moregone by when families and businesses in the neighborhood supported them . This deli has a clean well varied store. Has lottery as well as a few commodities and newspapers. The counter staff is always very polite and never rude and I always see them working hard and cleaning when I pass by the place as I work in the area. I see that they offer free delivery with a $10 purchase from we very good for many of the offices in the area I have been to this establishment about 20 times or so and have never had any problems and always found the food to be good and fresh. Recently, the Powerball went over a billion dollars I was able to walk right up to the counter several times and purchase my tickets with no line. During the week I have found they close their establishment by 5:15 or so ,and on Saturday open 7 to 4. I always generally patronize the deli in the afternoon and the rolls and bread always fresh even later in the day.
