It is now owned by Pharmacists that worked for Wayne. I was originally concerned that things might change. I am happy to say that they are my new Angels. I am still treated with the utmost respect and kindness. The new owners retain the same caring that Wayne always did. My concern was unnecessary. If you ever need special treatment by a pharmacy and, like me, your insurance doesn't help, I highly recommend Wayne's Pharmacy. You won't be sorry. For the rest it's an old school pharmacy, and selling basic staples like cold medicine, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, skin care, ace bandages...you get the idea. All name brands but prices are discounted pretty well. Then there's the sundries...fragrances, fancy soaps, unique brands of lotions, makeup, plus a really nice selection of greeting cards and paperbacks. I stop in here a lot to browse especially at gift giving times. Staff always has a friendly greeting and it's always the same people. When I need sundries I'll choose this Mom and Pop over CVS or Walgreens.

The four white men behind me were specifically called to the front of the line and asked if they were "picking up". Since I was ahead of them, I said I am picking up too. The man ignored me and continued to serve the four men behind me until I reached the counter. Another woman walked up to help with the line and got my script. I wouldn't go here if you don't want to "go to the back of the bus, Rosa!"

To get in you have to walk outside for about a block just to get into the store. If I have to walk out of the building, it will be to my car, not to this Walgreens, especially in inclement weather. I had about 20 items and had coupons for them so he scanned everything while huffing and puffing and then I gave him the coupons and he looked like he was so annoyed. Then while he was scanning them said "the stores gonna lose money like this". I was so appalled. I'm using coupons that I got from spending money AT Walgreens but regardless how inappropriate! This is the rudest thing I've ever had a cashier say to me. If I wasn't so baffle I would have gone and spoken to a manager but I truly could not believe he said that. Once my receipt and coupons printed he crumpled them up in his hands and shoved them at me. Next time I'll go out of my way to the next Walgreens just to avoid this one. Terrible.

I've witnessed her go above and beyond for customers. Shes even been helpful to me. I just have to bring this to someone attention. Ar least 4 times I've witnessed her asking customers for gifts. Now even if she's just kidding which from what I saw it didn't look like she was, she needs to stop begging customers for gifts. She work's there she gets paid abd that should be the end of it. Even if she's friendly with regular customers that come there all the time it doesn't give her the right. When I saw it this last time last week ( I just didn't have the time to post about it) It rubbed me the wrong way, enough is nought. I don't want her to get in trouble but she needs to be reprimanded about begging customers for gifts. Just ring people up and keep it moving.
