This place is also a perfect gem! I was there for oyster happy hour amd it was DELICIOUS!!!!!! Im from the gulf coast amd what impressed me the most, it was a female schucking oysters!!!!!! You go girl! This bar was elegant yet felt like a neighborhood bar. The service was friendly and made great recommendations. Everyone was happy and smiling. Definitely a great hang out bar.

On a cold January day my wife and I walked into the clean, mostly empty (was the start of oyster happy hour) Oyster Cellar. We had already had the offerings at hotel 1000Lux's All-Water. And lemme tell you something, we are glad we came into Oyster Cellar. The oysters were all from the Hood Canal, twice the size, double the selection. The drinks were balanced and quickly presented. And then we got CRAB TOAST!! As we listened to the chef sing early 2000s pop/rock hits, while shucking fatty oysters, the crowd started coming in and by 6p only 3-4 small tables were left open. The Oyster Martini and Port & Tonic hit the spot. We finished with the Louie Eggs and Scallop Tartare, because we didn't want to leave as the conversation turned to "Wait were you at the restaurant last-night when everyone started laughing at that loud British guy?" Would recommend: better quality, actual vibes and much cheaper than All-Water's happy hour.

Highly enjoyable addition to the neighborhood. Oysters at Happy Hour are inflation busters! Much appreciated by those of us hopelessly addicted to them. Be sure to try the albacore. Such great flavors.

Short and sweet concise review. - Crab Toast - HH 3 - 6pm = $24 dozen oysters - Focaccia Oysters come with house made hot sauce. Add to crab toast. *chef's kiss* Bartender and Chef *double chef's kiss*

Just tried to stop by Oyster Cellar. Have been wanting to go there for ages since I moved from Bainbridge to NYC. Several people waiting said they'd been there for over ten minutes trying to get a table. No one was at the front so I asked others if they minded if I went to the bar. I stepped up to the bar and a bartender drying glasses said in a very condescending tone that he'd seat people in the order they came. Really disappointed since Brendan's BI restaurants are so welcoming. Guess Oyster Cellar is off our list of places we want to go. Too bad.

Go sit at the bar and eat EVERYTHING on this amazing menu! Talk to Parker. He will make a fabulous cocktail or two. We tried tartare, Louie salad, oysters, focaccia, and scallop crudo. Seriously, everything was fantastic. Parker was our bartender/server and was wonderful. Love the vibe and can't wait to go back!!!

Fresh Oysters! Happy Hour. 1 dozen for $24!

Had the freshest oysters and at $2 each for happy hour, what a steal!!! Our party had a dozen oysters each per person and it didn't disappoint! Definitely a recommend!

Oyster cellar is wonderful and I highly recommend! The Baywater sweet oysters shucked by Terrance were fantastic. He has shucking down to an art and his oyster knowledge is also worth your time to explore. The chef, Alex, is a joy to watch create amazing meals as he sings along to the music. It made eating alone at the bar so much fun. It gave me permission to sing along too. The one and only Parker is an incredible bartender who makes a fine martini. The synergy between these three makes for a wonderful evening. I highly recommend visiting here alone or with friends.

So excited to see a new oyster bar open up in Seattle especially one that has a $2 oyster happy hour, haven't seen prices that low for oyster in years. Really like the space, alot of bar seating as well as table for larger group. Nice friendly service though with only couple of people on staff it can be a wait if busy. Had the happy hour oyster which is shuckers choice but both the Jamestown jade and Bayswater Indigo were great oyster, very fresh and the right level of briny. Also got the crab toast, really good as well very decedent.

Quality control needs work.

The whole space has this intimate, luxurious atmosphere that makes the experience feel special the moment you walk in. We tried the Japanese Breakfast, which is a savory cocktail and such a pleasant surprise. It genuinely has miso soup notes. It's very unique and creative. I also had El Boho (flavorful but not overly sweet). The staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to recommending drinks. The prices are on the higher end, but personally I think they're totally worth it for the creativity and overall experience. This is the spot I bring all my out-of-town friends to because the ambiance, vibes, and drinks are just that good. Truly one of Seattle's gems.

The First Gentleman was attentive and we got our drinks and an appetizer timely. We ordered our second appetizer with our first server and thats where the service deteriorated. I could hear the table next to us ordered the exact same appetizer as we did 10-15 mins after we did and a new server who must had just clocked in brings them the order literally within 2-3 mins later and the male commented, "oh that was fast" and I thought to myself they got our order. Another 10-15 mins go by and I had to ask "do you know how long our order will take to which she seemed to get annoyed. It could have my energy because by that time I was annoyed. I'm not sure what happened to our original server but he must have gotten off. About 5-10 mins goes by and here it comes. That confirmed the table next to us got our order because of how long it took. They never apologized for their mistake. Doing all that time they never came back to see if we would like another drink. I had to flag someone down. The clincher was we got our bill and there was 22% service charge. That was on me because if I would have seen it I might not have gone. I'm not a fan of automatically charging a service charge. I'm a great tipper but it must be earned. By than I was really annoyed and thought to have a conversation with the manager but let it go. I would not go back. The craft cocktails are spendy but I had no problem with that because they're creative and they earned it by being creative. But the energy and the environment wasn't like the other speak easy bars I visited. It was boring and to top it off the service charge of 22% and the service that came with it sealed it for me. Make sure to read the website on their thought around the 22%.

When the city reopened in 2021, I was eating here almost every day; partly because of convenience, but mainly because the food and service never miss. I've hosted everything here: birthday celebrations, after-work hangs, and dinners with friends and colleagues. Every single time, it's a hit. People walk in, fall in love with the vibe, and walk out talking about the food. The consistency is unreal. They even order food to go. The flavors? Bold, intentional, and layered in a way that makes each dish feel crafted, not just cooked. The presentation is always stunning; plates that look as good as they taste. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they send out. Drinks are equally impressive. Their cocktails are balanced and creative, the kind that make you slow down just to appreciate the mixology behind them. And for anyone planning group outings: reservations here are a breeze. They're incredibly accommodating with large parties, and the service stays sharp even when the place is packed. Attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced; they know how to take care of people. Dead Line checks every box: atmosphere, flavor, presentation, service, and seamless hosting for big groups. It's easily one of the most reliable and enjoyable spots in downtown Seattle, and it's stayed that way for years.

The front of the bar is standard tables with the back of the bar having cute seating areas. I got the gingerbread expresso martini which was really yummy! Our drinks did take a while to get to us despite sitting right at the bar but we did have a table of 7 so understood. We got our appetizers before our drinks: Brussel sprouts (SO YUMMY), oysters, and truffle fries (towered in parm!). These went down super quick. I then ordered the pork arepa for my entree and wow...not what i was expecting but will never regret! One of my favorite dishes I've had in a while that I'll keep thinking about. All the flavors worked so well together and the arepa itself was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pork was sweeter due to the marinade and not salty at all which i preferred. Will 100% be back!

Belltown

Roquette was a surprisingly small space with a wonderful vibe serving up "destination" bar-worthy cocktails. It reminded me of some of the neighborhood gem cocktail bars that I'd frequented on the East Coast. I grabbed a seat at the bar. Roquette's lineup of cocktails were varied in flavor profile using a wide range of spirits. They also served non-alcoholic offerings which looked equally intriguing as their boozy selections. I started off with the 99 Problems ($28), which, unfortunately, I forgot to note what was in the drink. It was boozy, clever, inventive, and most importantly delicious. My second drink was the Imperium Old Fashioned ($24) made with Westland Whiskey "Roquette" Barrel, Clement Cask Strength Rhum, Old Delicious Apple Brandy, Pineapple, and Spice. It was an excellent, boozy, balanced update to the classic Old Fashioned. Although I went with drinks off their menu, I have no doubt that any of their skilled bar professionals could've crafted me a wonderful cocktail if I had simply requested a classic or something on the fly based on my choice of spirit and desired flavor profile. Yes, the prices on the two drinks I ordered were pretty steep, but they were comparable to prices I've paid in Las Vegas. Plus, I don't have a problem with paying a premium for a well-made cocktail made with premium ingredients in a comfortable, welcoming setting (the drunken guy next to me who tried to engage with me in a political discussion excluded). Bottom-line: Roquette was a revelation. It served up two of the best cocktails that I've had this year. I can't recommend it enough and it'll be at the top of my list of places to hit the next time I'm in town.
