Will from Oxnard Towing was dispatched by AAA unfortunately he left me in an unsafe situation stranded on the side of the freeway at night. He refused to tow my car because it appeared lowered. Probably because it had a destroyed tire and was sitting on the rim. His flatbed should have been able to handle my car since the non flatbed tow truck I flagged down had no issue. read more

If I can give this company zero stars, I would. I was in a pretty bad car accident and had to be in person to pick up my car the next day. When discussing the towing car to my home, the rude employee Raul stated he would not tow my car to my home or in the driveway. I could understand not to my driveway but to not even tow it into my car. We had to call AAA, who was connected to their company. Raul stated that if they called, he would decline it. AAA told us they would send someone. Turned out Raul accepted their call and declined their order at the estimated time they would arrive, citing "unsaf" to transport to AAA. But it was safe enough to keep in their lot for another day. However, he kept us waiting for 40 minutes had he declined it, I had no problem.hiring a private tow company, which I did, and we had to wait an additional time. But it was safe enough to keep in their lot for another day. they towed it to my home and in my driveaway with no issues. And it is currently sitting in my driveway. From the second we got there and when he left, he was extremely rude. No compassion, patience, or support through anything. I had more support from Ventura Towing company than with Oxnard Tow. It's not worth the price to have left my car there a minute. In addition, when I paid, he was not even going to take my car out for the towing company we ordered to have access to. We had to check in and make sure he was going to remove my car from their lot. Never go to this place. read more

Julio saved the day!!! My brand new car had a flat tire in the rain on Christmas Day yesterday! Made for a rough day for us, but we managed to get the car home safely. I woke up early this morning, called AAA for a tow. The ETA was 1 hour - yuck! Just a few minutes later Julio from Oxnard Tow called me and was at my house within a few minutes - how did that happen?! He was very professional and friendly, evaluated my flat tire situation, promptly got my car hooked up, and off he went - he even called me to let me know that he delivered my car as requested! He even went as far to research on YouTube to get the car in neutral just so that he can get it on the flatbed. Battery went dead, called AAA and they sent out Scott with Oxnard Tow. I decided to replace the battery as the original was about 7 years old. Price was fair and Scott was great to work with. Very personable, easy fix. I would highly recommend them! read more

I called for battery service due to my truck battery not holding a charge. When the tech arrived he tested the battery and confirmed that it had a bad cell. I verified that the warranty was 3 yr replacement with 3 yrs prorated and my battery was within the first 3 yrs. He asked if I had my paperwork which I did not and asked if I would like the battery replaced. I said yes and assisted with the installation due to the tech struggling with replacing the battery. After install the tech comes with a bill for $150 because I didn't have proof that I purchased the battery 2.5 years ago. I told him to remove the battery and he settled on giving me the prorated price which is still more expensive than where I would have gone to replace my battery had I known AAA wouldn't stand behind their warranty. Only having cash on me the tech couldn't provide change costing me additional time and money. Don't use this company especially if the techs name is Oscar. This is the 2nd subpar experience with AAA service in less than a month. I've been a member for well over 25 years. read more

Excellent service!!! AAA dispatched Oxnard Towing to me today when my car kept dying. Jimbo called to let me know ETA (10 minutes, so fast!) and confirm my location. We were at the Collection around lunchtime so everyone was grouchy and in a hurry. Jimbo calmly handled my car, and got it up on the bed safely and efficiently. Some grouchy old man was honking and yelling but Jimbo kept his cool. Hope he gets a bonus if that's what he deals with every day. He courteously moved to let the other cars out and we did the paperwork, which was very quick. He made sure I had my belongings and a safe ride home.
