Seferino M got me safely into the truck and got me to quickly to the dealership before they closed. He was friendly , courteous and super helpful. My car was towed from my apartment complex today. I called airport towing, they told me they didn't have my car & for me to call Oxnard PD. I called Oxnard PD who took my information & was sending a deputy to my apartment to take a report. Oxnard PD called me back to tell me Airport Towing had my vehicle after all. I called Airport Towing back & was told I needed to go to the yard & pay $500 to get my car back. I get to the yard & it's closed. I call back to ask what's going on. No one told me the yard was closed. I was told the driver was on the way to the yard. Half an hour later, no driver. I call back and am told that the driver got a call from Ventura PD and had to go to that scene. I made sure everyone know I have a handicap plate. The tow service decided to just let me stand outside their office until whenever the driver gets here. This has all happened in the last 2 hours. $500+ Where is the world going to. They like to go into cars and touch stuff that doesn't belong to them they also like to open up drinks and place them so they leak all over. They also target certain cars at the Lombard apartments and when I went to get my id from my car they towed they act like they can't find it luckily the dmv let me register my car without. They also opened up my 20 pound nitrous tank and let all the air out if I could give 0 stars I would. read more

HORRIBLE!!! I got a flat tire in the freeway. I pulled over & call AAA. They sent out this service. The guy called me & said he was on the 60 E and I was on the 60 W. i didn't know whwre he was at, & he didn't know know where I was at. He started to raised his voice. He asked if I would dropped my location. Being a women, alone on the side of the freeway. I did not feel safe getting into a car with this guy. Tried to get the owner of the company to call me about his secretary who refused to page him. "Rosy" was very unprofessional, rude and tried to over charge for services. Because of her I was unable to see a family member who was very ill for the last time and passed away. In mid July John towed my brand new truck. He put a big gouge on one side and bent both of my side steps down. I've contacted co owner Richard 3 times and he gives me lip service and never calls me back. I had to finally make an insurance claim. Which he is also giving lip service to. Very unprofessional bunch of road pirates. I will take this to the B.B.B. I wouldn't recommend them to even the most desperate customer. read more

I have been waiting for AAA for 2 hours and I just decided I need to just get towed to get home. I was on freeway and not in the safest of spots. I called Airport Towing and they said they could send a towing truck to me in 25 minutes but Alvaro came in 20 minutes. My car was towed in front of my house for expired tags around 3:30 pm (my police "fix it" ticket stated the time) when I wasn't there. I Went the next day to Airport Towing to pick up my car and they were trying to charge me 2 days instead of 1 because they stated they picked up my car at 2:00. If it wasn't for the ticket the port hueneme police issued me that stated the real time, I would've been illegally charged twice. The man at the front counter blamed the "time change" and the fact that his employees "don't wear watches" as an excuse to charge me an extra day. They are predatory tow scammers and I've seen them going around around our neighborhood searching for the next tow. If you see these trucks in your neighborhood, shoo them away. They are money hungry thieves taking away from hardworking people. EDIT- DON'T EXPECT FOR THE OWNER OF AIRPORT TOWING TO GIVE YOU ANY INFO IN REGARDS TO THE TOW. Staff here is rude, careless, and overpriced . They will touch your belongings in your vehicle and still charge you $400 for a one day tow $150 "gate fee" . Avoid them at all costs, plus there drivers should be getting their driving certifications checked some of them look in bad shape idk how any doctors can clear them for transportations. read more

I went to their once every 2 month auto auction..my relative needed an inexpensive temp. Car...A few hundred dollar deposit was left to hold car. I came to pay balance and without my seeing they used a fork lift to put car on street and left it running..When i tried to put car in forward it DID NOT RUN..All this happened due to them ONLY moving car backwards during auction demo.I demanded they return my money. Well let's see where do I start. I hope Airport Towing goes bankrupt and its owners burn in Hell. I had my car stolen and they picked up my vehicle and towed it to their yard. When police finally contacted me to tell me it was found l, they said I had to go pick it up from Airport Towing. They literally towed the car less than a mile to their location. Being the victim I thought they would charge me a regular tow fee. But I showed up to pick up my car and they charged me $250 dollars for the tow and my car sitting on their lot for 6 hours. Being a college student and living paycheck to paycheck those $250 dollars were sacred to me. Apparently Airport Towing took more from me than those thief's actually did. Don't use these buffoons to jumpstart your cars either, I know plenty of people that have had their cars damaged by reversing the polarity of the battery. read more

Airport towing helped me move my broken SUV from the auto shop to my house. I gave them a call in the morning around 9AM and asked if they could send someone out. They said yes, gave me and ETA and price and it went exactly as planned. Joaquin got there right on time, was super nice and careful with the car. Got it to my house parked it where I asked and we took care of the billing there as well. Super convenient and nice compared to most others. This review is for their AAA (Station#939) Battery Service. Handling an Asian Mom's issues are laden with enough guilt and grief but thankfully, I am a AAA member! Dutifully, I called their roadside service and advised them of my non-starting car. (No radio, no lights, no radio, no clicky-engine sound).They dispatched Airport Towing with Alvaro D at the helm of their battery service fleet. I confess, I suspected the battery was the culprit, but the mom insistance that its "new and just paid for it 6 months ago" needed to be filtered to "it came with the car and I looked at it a year ago" ;) Alvaro, went through the diagnostics even with my multitude of questions (girls, its never too late to learn). I needed to know how he would be able to support the need for a new battery. He was so patient and showed me the before and after diagnostics after he installed a new battery with a AAA warranty. (ITS FOR MY MOM, duh!!!) Needless to say, services that come to the rescue and do not treat as if I am a damsel in distress are winners in my book!!! On 06/10/2015, my vehicle broke down on the freeway while driving to work. I called AAA and Airport Towing was dispatched to my location. Jay arrived within 15 minutes of me making the call. Jay was very professional and polite and quickly got my vehicle onto the flatbed and to my mechanic so my vehicle could be repaired. Airport towing is the worst company I have ever dealt with. My car caught on fire and airport towing came to tow the car. When I presented my AAA card to the tow truck driver, he said they no longer do business with AAA. He charged me $220 to tow the car 3 miles. I went online to check out the Airport towing and there was AAA sponsor all over. The truck driver is number 9 and the truck he drove is number 18. The owner needs to improve the employee training program and educate the workers on AAA. Overall, it is a poorly managed company and I will be filing a claim. EDIT- Your employee is not being truthful with you Dan. He said it would cost me over $400 to have it towed to your yard. He also said it would cost $220 to have it towed based on a 4 mile limit. The policeman witnessed this as well. You should do the right thing and refund me and please write up your employee. That's terrible to have someone like that representing your company. I have AAA and they always send them out when I'm in the Oxnard area. I have had these guys come and help me with plenty of flat tires and jump start my boyfriends car, and they have always been very pleasant and on time. No one ever tips anymore so they're always so grateful even if it's just a few bucks because I'm sure tipping this type of service is now dead. read more

Do not use this company. They towed my mothers vehicle to their repair shop and charged her over 600 for a starter! I called the dealership and they charge less. When I asked for the parts back, which I'm entitled to do they said no rather than explaining about thing such as a core deposit. Bad service - STAY AWAY. I called AAA because my battery was dead, to have the battery replaced. The guy I had visiting the car every other week to start it apparently left the dome lights on and it was totally drained. I told AAA I was in Afghanistan and that my friend (also my POA) would have to meet them. They said that's "no problem." They sent Airport Towing out there, and then Airport Towing refused to replace it because I'm in Afghanistan. Way to go looking out for the military. They decided it was their place in society to judge. I explained that I had someone that was going to be driving the car and that I would completely take the risk of voiding the warranty if it weren't driven (they record the milage), but no joy. On my way to Ojai today my car overheated and suddenly died. Unfortunately it was very far away from my home in northridge and even my nearest shop in Thousand Oaks. I was extremely blessed with an amazing driver by the name of Seferino. He took me from a middle of nowhere to 20 miles to my personal mechanic.
