I called for battery service due to my truck battery not holding a charge. When the tech arrived he tested the battery and confirmed that it had a bad cell. I verified that the warranty was 3 yr replacement with 3 yrs prorated and my battery was within the first 3 yrs. He asked if I had my paperwork which I did not and asked if I would like the battery replaced. I said yes and assisted with the installation due to the tech struggling with replacing the battery. After install the tech comes with a bill for $150 because I didn't have proof that I purchased the battery 2.5 years ago. I told him to remove the battery and he settled on giving me the prorated price which is still more expensive than where I would have gone to replace my battery had I known AAA wouldn't stand behind their warranty. Only having cash on me the tech couldn't provide change costing me additional time and money. Don't use this company especially if the techs name is Oscar. This is the 2nd subpar experience with AAA service in less than a month. I've been a member for well over 25 years. read more

We were at the Collection around lunchtime so everyone was grouchy and in a hurry. Jimbo calmly handled my car, and got it up on the bed safely and efficiently. Upon trying to pick up the car and have it towed to a auto body repair, the employees were very rude. This company seems to have very unethical employees. Unfortunately, I called triple A to have my car towed from this place and triple A uses this company for its towing. These employees made us wait till the auto body shop expecting my car was closed before they released the car to us. In fact they made us wait for hours. They were mad because we didn't leave the car with them so they could get a salvage fee. Very unethical and unprofessional. I would advise anybody who has a choice to never use this company. We called Auto Club to have our vehicle towed and Oxnard Towing was dispatch. We received a text message from Auto club telling us that the approximate waiting time was one hour. Worst towing experience I've had. I own a 2001 Acura Integra that has a mild drop. My wheels don't even tuck into the fender well. I called Triple A for a tow to my mechanic's shop and let them know that my car is lowered and will require a flatbed. I have done this in the past several times and have gotten towed by other towing companies with no issues whatsoever. The car was even lower in the past and I still got a tow! However, today I was greeted by an Oxnard Tow Services employee that was immediately rude to me upon arrival and refused to tow my vehicle. Gave me an attitude and didn't even want to try to tow the car. Took one look it and said no. I even offered to take off the front bumper and he said he won't take it.
