I thought the starter had gone on my 2009 Honda when I tried to start the car yesterday morning so I assumed I would need a tow to the garage a couple of miles away. Called for a tow and Julio from Oxnard Tow Services came right over. He was at my house within like 20 minutes. He's a friendly and smart guy. My dog Ginger liked him, that says a lot, and he petted her too. Julio tried the car and said he thought it was just a dead battery. He brought his jump start doohickey gizmo (you can tell my level of mechanical ability because of my tech terms like thingamajig and doohickey) to the car and tested the battery. It was deader than a door nail. He jump started it so I didn't even need a tow! I drove it right over to my mechanics, the great guys of Danny and Oscar at Sharp's Auto Service who confirmed it was just a dead battery that needed replacing. Danny and Oscar are dog friendly too! Ginger loved them both. No starter needed so I saved a bunch of money that I thought it would cost me and between Julio, Danny, and Oscar I was back on track for the rest of my day in about 90 minutes total. These are the two companies to use in Oxnard and Port Hueneme if you have car problems!!!! Ginger says they are both Dog Approved and not to use anyone else. 5 Stars for everyone! My friend's Range Rover broke down on PCH and left him stranded! I called AAA for help but they said it would be at least 45 minutes before they could get anyone out there. I was expecting to wait for hours because it was a Friday night around 7 pm, But not even 20 minutes later, Joel from Oxnard Tow services shows up in the most beautiful flatbed truck that I have ever seen. It looked like a Christmas tree with all the lights he had on it!!! He tried everything to get the Rover going but when he couldn't, he loaded it onto the tow truck and took it all the way back to the mechanic in Chatsworth without even batting an eye. Hello everyone! I wanted to post a review of the wonderful service I received from a Oxnard Tow driver when I called for help with my car. I needed for them to come out and give me jump or tell me if I needed a new battery. The service guy that came out was named Scott, he showed up, asked about the car issues, what kind of car it was, what year the car was, and then checked the battery, jumped it and let me know that my car needed a new one. He was extremely wonderful about info he told me about the battery that I needed to get for my car. He told me he could put one in the car through AAA and how much it would cost. I was unable to do that at the time, but it was nice he mentioned that info about AAA could supply me a new battery, because I did not know that information. I am house sitting for my daughter. I got up this morning to move her car across the street because of sweep cleaning and poor Orangie was DEAD! I called AAA and they said someone would be out about 8:04, well that's a problem... I start work at 8:00. I then get a call from Scott at Oxnard Tow Services and he said he would be there in 3 minutes Woohoo!! He showed up very nice gentleman did what he had to do and waaalaaa the car started... My car died in the Costco gas station, I called AAA, and the gave me an est. wait time of 45 minutes until someone would get to me. Maybe 15 minutes later a AAA van pulled up, and was helped my a very kind young man named Matt Lopez. Matt L. was extremely helpful, friendly, and fast. He was very happy to help me, inspected my battery and made sure my issue was not just a battery issue, but also checked to make sure my alternator was running ok. I am thankful for Matt's service through AAA/ Oxnard towing. I would recommend his services through AAA/Oxnard towing for whom ever may need them. Man was very nice and professional. read more

My car died when I went to pick my mom up for church. I had first a rep from Oxnard Tow Services come out to check my battery, and he determined that my battery was fine and that I probably needed a starter. He called for Louis from Oxnard Tow Services to come tow my car to my mechanic. Louis was quick, courteous, and friendly. I was stressed out when my car wouldn't start, but the 2 gentlemen I had the pleasure of dealing with from this fine company helped make a crappy situation not so bad. I got a flat tire late at night in the rain. I was unable to disconnect the spare when I was attempting to change the tire. I called a tow truck from a different company and their driver was also unable to disconnect the spare. Since he couldn't change my tire he ended up towing my car to my house. The next morning I called Oxnard Tow Services. The driver Julio was at my house within 15 minutes. Julio was immediately able to disconnect the spare! He changed my tire in about 10 minutes and I was good to go. Julio was awesome! read more

I had some tires put in but the stems weren't done right so all my tires ended up flat after I left the shop. Our vehicle broke down today and we called USAA for roadside assistance. Unfortunately, USAA's slow service took us 2 hours waiting for tow services and we ended up canceling it. Then we googled Tow services and Oxnard Tow Services came to the rescue, Julio was the truck drivers name. In less than 20 mins he showed up and got us out on the side of the road. Scott was fantastic. I called AAA today. My 2007 BMW had a flat tire. Scott responded within minutes. Scott was quick and professional. He informed me the tire wouldn't take any air, and then explained to me that since my spare was over 10 years old he couldn't install it. He then called a tow for me immediately.
