I WISH I had taken a before and after picture of what amazing work Dawson with oxi fresh carpet did on our house. It has been 6+ years since we've had our carpet cleaned and we have an old dog and young kids, so if that doesn't give a mental picture I don't know what will. Puddles of dried glue, crayons ground into the carpet, dog stains we hadn't noticed in corners, we had it all, plus just generally filthy from use high traffic areas. The carpets looks brand new again. Price was higher than one competitor but competitor was going to charge extra for each stair, and for any room that needed deep cleaning, so I think it would've ended up comparable with hidden fees. I appreciated that oxi clean specifically said "we don't believe in hidden charges so the price we quote covers everything". Definitely use this company. Amazing service. read more

Also, we had something come up and Rob was able to help reschedule our appointment to earlier by an hour without any fuss. Our cleaning specialist was Dawson and he arrived on time. He understood the whole set of things we needed to do from multiple sofa cleaning, rugs, dining chairs and Kitchen tiles. Went with Oxi Fresh because their quote was cheaper than our normal carpet cleaning service. David came out and did the walkthrough and cleaning all in the same day. Oxi Fresh's cleaning technique is different from other carpet cleaning, no big hoses that they have to run through your windows and all along your floors. They clean your carpets using less water and natural ingredients. I don't know or really care about what natural ingredients they use as long as the carpets are clean, and let me just say that they got out stains the previous two cleanings from our old servicer couldn't get out. And since they use less water, the drying time for the carpet was drastically shorter, we were able to go back to our carpeted areas in a little over an hour as opposed to the normal 4-8 hours (on a hot day). We will definitely start using Oxi Fresh as our regular carpet cleaner from now on. read more

I think my entire experience with this company warrants a review even though we didn't end up using their service. First, Rob was very responsive and patient in answering my questions. They gave us a reasonable quote and was able to schedule us within a few days of us contacting them for a move out carpet cleaning. He explained the process of how they clean the carpets and how long it would take. I asked to adjust the time and they were very accommodating. The technician, David arrived on time. When he got there, he assessed the carpet and advised that because of the carpet's condition, it is no longer advisable to get it cleaned using their equipment because it will just ruin it and the carpet might come off completely. I respect the fact that he was honest and did not insist on doing it knowing it will get ruined just to charge a fee. I admire their professionalism. Scheduling was easy and the cost was similar to others. However the website advertises a one hour drying time. Nothing was dry at one hour. Most of the carpet was dry at around 7+ hours. When we had the carpet steam cleaned previously it took the same amount of time to dry so not sure why a quick dry time js advertised. read more

Had house carpet cleaned recently. Used steam previously -- local independent for ~15 years, different firm in 2021. This was first experience with Oxi Fresh no-steam process; Dawson did nice job. Results equaled or exceeded steam. Room with 25-yo white Berber did well; previously, it consistently wicked-up discoloration after steaming. Only minor issue was surprising: carpet remained wetter than expected for longer (from spray pre-treatment), even with house temp up and ceiling fans on. I've repeated service with Oxi Fresh Carpet in the past year and they come in 1x/quarter to keep our carpets clean. We've had a few accidents (lots of spilled coffee and pet accidents) on cream colored carpet. It's been stressful. David who usually services our home is knowledgeable and friendly. We learned our carpet was made of wool which helped change and self care I do in between their visits. For our 3rd and more recent visit we had another technician come in. Unfortunately this person had MANY stains to deal with (sadly. My dogs did not like that I was away and they had access to the bedroom which they let me know they were not pleased with this). Dawson was able to lighten stains significantly though comparatively, I felt the stains lifted a lot better in past with David. I know a lot of factors can play into this so take that stately with a slight grain of salt. I will likely ask them to come again before end of year to help lighten and treat the stains again. If not, they will be back again in Q1. Mainly to help treat the most prominent stain (coffee) which did sit for some time. Overall I am pretty happy with them. David was sick and they alerted me as soon as possible via text (makes me life SO much easier between meetings) and helped to reschedule me quickly. For the past eleven months, I have struggled with the way to respond to Mr. Cole's response to my review of his Oxi Fresh services. His response is posted below and is also uploaded into Photos as Exhibit 12. If nothing else, I am fair. My presence on Yelp was never intended to insult proprietors of honest businesses. In truth, most of my Yelp reviews are written for the vegetarian and vegan community. We live in an era of information overload, and the democratic nature of the internet equalizes all information without distinguishing between that which is reliable and that which is uninformed. Under this umbrella, I recognize that the online platform can feel unfair to the merchant, who may feel he or she must be on the defensive against unwarranted attacks. It is under the weight of this responsibility that I have had to consider how - or whether - I should respond to Mr. Cole. There is little honest or accurate in Mr. Cole's account, the way in which this transaction transpired, or the unreasonable concessions I allegedly extracted to have additional rooms cleaned without pay. Mr. Cole portrays himself as the victim, the good-guy, and the honest businessman with integrity always seeking to do the right thing who was taken-advantage of by my unscrupulous and unreasonable demands (See, Exhibit 12). My issue with this is not only has Mr. Cole demonstrated none of the qualities he claims to embody, but that if I do not respond, his dishonesty goes unchecked. Why should his lack of integrity be my fault? I merely sought to have my carpets cleaned, and after multiple attempts his service proved unsuccessful. My review was honest, measured, and fair, and yet it was met with meritless fabrication and an assault on my character and that of my father. The good news is that the entirety of all of my communication with Mr. Cole surrounding this transaction has been captured and preserved by Yelp Messaging, from the initial inquiry, to the description of my apartment, to my follow-up communications. The entirety of our exchange has been uploaded here as "Exhibits 1-12," with minor redactions of personal information. One can ascertain for him or herself the veracity of Mr. Cole's account and mine from those exchanges. The one and only time that Mr. Cole and I spoke was after he posted his response. The local number directed me to a call center in Colorado that relayed my message to Mr. Cole. To his credit, he called me back, but he had no interest in discussing the facts. I would have thought that as a man of integrity committed to doing the right thing that Mr. Cole would not have wanted something inaccurate or untruthful to stand. I am sure if Mr. Cole is the upstanding man that he represents himself to be will have no objection to our communication posted here so that everyone can see the objective truth of our exchange. As a final note, the reason why my initial review was posted a year and a half after services were rendered is because I wanted to be fair to Mr. Cole and his business. He explained that previous cleaning techniques could have damaged the carpet, thereby making his task impossible to achieve (See, Exhibit 7). If this was this case, I did not want to fault Mr. Cole or his service for something out of his control. It was only after having the carpet cleaned over a year later and not having those same spots reappear after several months that I understood the issue was with Oxi Fresh, not with the carpets. It was then I posted my review, suggesting that prospective patrons consider the nature of their stains. Similarly, I had no interest in writing this response, and that is why I attempted to speak to Mr. Cole to address his accusations directly. It was never my intent to cause harm to Mr. Cole, but I do not feel that his objectively dishonest account should come at my expense. I stand by my initial review, with the caveat that I no longer believe Mr. Cole's customer service to be "fantastic" or "five-star". This interaction has brought out an unflattering side of Mr. Cole, and I would no longer recommend his business for any type of carpet cleaning.
