I engaged Maidly to perform a deep cleaning, and they did a great job. I've lived in my apartment for nine years and had not done a deep cleaning since I moved in, so there was a lot of grime in some spots. But they were up to the challenge. Communication via Yelp was quick and concise, though there was something of a language barrier with the workers who arrived to do the work. Translation app solved that problem. Overall, a good value for the money; would use again! read more

I didn't realize this is a matching service when I contacted them. I think their business model is to hire customer service reps from abroad then match you with local small businesses. This is a problem, because: 1. Each time I emailed, a different person answered. Probably 20 emails over 1 week were arranged before I could get a quote and schedule cleaning. Because emails would usually arrive late at night or around 2-4AM, I guessed the emailers were located outside of the US. 2. Phone calls are not effective. Email info could easily have been conveyed in a 5-minute phone call, but when I called, the representative didn't know anything about scheduling. 3. A third-party cleaner comes to your house. This means there isn't consistency in quality. The cleaners complained that there was too much work and that it would take a 2-person team 4 hours to do the work (clean 1.5 bathrooms, put about less than 10 dishes in the dishwasher). One worker did dishes only during this time (at $40/hr, that's about $4/dish). The other cleaned the bathrooms. And of course they finished in less than 1 hour. 4. Communication with the third-party cleaner was poor. After all the time I spent emailing about what would be included, none of the details they asked about were conveyed. This was part of the time I paid for, because 1 worker called their supervisor to try to get out of doing the work. read more

Spotless service. The crew did deeper move-out cleaning than I expected. Highly recommended.

Another great cleaning get with a different maidly team . Just look at those carpets - I hated to walk on them as the striping was so perfect. Thanks again maidly and I'll see you next week for another move out cleaning read more

I scheduled a deep clean, with carpet clean (steam clean). I was quoted $400 for the deep clean and $450 for the carpets for an approx 1,500sq/ft home. They arrived on time, and overall the house was clean upon completion. The carpets were cleaned with a potent cleaner that myself and my dogs are having difficulty (so not just a steam clean). Upon checking house cameras everyone wore sneakers and work boots within the home (we are a no shoe household). They were seen standing on top of the white couch in work boots. The carpet cleaners turned the cameras to face the wall so they were not visible (upon talking with maidly, they said this had to be done bc they didn't want to get the camera wet when cleaning the floor. It does not make sense, bc the camera (and Google home device next to it that was not touched) was not moved, but turned around from behind to face the wall. They also did not clean the carpet in one of the bedrooms. Bad experience, my house smells like the bathroom at a gas station, not trust worthy, attempts to gas light in response to bringing this to their attention. Find another company that is respectful of your home, devices, and honest. The door of my house was left unlocked and one was left cracked open after they left. read more

I've been traveling a lot even tho I had a car accident in November where someone hit my car while I was at a stop. By back and hip have been in on and off pain. I have guest coming tomorrow and I just didn't want to risk hurting myself more while I'm feeling okay. Maidly got back to me quickly with my request. What I needed to be cleaned was small and important to me. I especially liked wanted my bathroom deep cleaned and all the floors as well. They did an excellent job!! I'm walking around barefoot and not feeling any thing below my feet. The staff were quick and efficient and I found the price was also just right. I look forward to having them return after my next upcoming trip! Check'em out, you will be happy!! read more

They did an excellent job! I got a deep clean and the house looks great. Thank you!!!

The two assistants were right on time and didn't waste a minute. They completed a full house deep cleaning in under three hours, including the oven which really needed it. They even swept and dusted the porch displacing spider webs and company. We are two clean tenants and will have them repeat in two months. read more

They are great, they were on time, very friendly and did an amazing job cleaning my place.

Originally, I had an issue where I had a small amount to clean in an empty apartment. They came and didn't clean a whole lot that was noticeable. Beyond that they charged me for 3 extra hours of labor. I was upset and when I let them know I received a full refund. It is clear they mean well but I did not have a good experience. read more

An incident happened where a mirror fell right after the cleaning crew left. I understand accidents happen which is fine but the Manager/company did not do anything to take care of the broken mirror or scratched hardwood floor. Moreover, my toddler was involved but noone from the company has called to check to see how she is doing. I realize after this accident, the company does not care to build relationships with their customers. If they did, they would remedy the situation. I recommend going elsewhere for cleaning services as if an accident happens, they will not take care of the situation. To note, I wrote my initial review because Mary was responsive initially and informed me the cleaning crew gets compensated for reviews. Also, Maidly was acquired so the company is owned by CCPros DBA Essential Service/Bay Area Cleaning Pro. To conclude, the cleaning crew was always kind and did a great job cleaning. Even though places were missed - if I asked them to clean a missed area, they were always happy to do so. However, the way management did nothing to resolve the accident, speaks volumes on customer service. read more

Stayed the entire time even though the unit was already clean except for a few areas. They failed to do a deep cleaning and missed several spots. In fact I can't even tell if they did anything. What should have take 1-2 hours took them "4 hours". When hiring assume it will never be under the initial hours quoted. I had the same 1 bedroom cleaned last year for 1/2 the price and they did a better job. They continued to call me asking me to change my review. I have a feeling that most of the other reviews on here are due to pressure from the business. read more

the ladies at maidly did an amazing job with the apartment move out cleaning that they did for me. looked like it did when I first moved in!

A great service! They were on time, thorough, and open to any suggestions or modification. I am pleased.

First of all, I want to premise this by stating I was looking for a cleaner over a year ago! I wanted a deep clean for before welcoming my baby into this world. We went with another vendor solely based on availability at the time. I wasn't too happy with that other vendor for a number of reasons. A year and some change later, I messaged Mary again and asked about her team's services. And although it took a year to get there, man!!! I am so happy that I did!!!! Mary's team did such an amazing job it almost feels like a 1 year old doesn't live here!! If you're reading this and thinking about which cleaning service a try, let me save you the time and research and just book Maidly. You won't regret it. Thank you, Maidly team!! read more

We used Maidly as we moved to a new home. Got keys to the house on a Thursday and had Maidly do a deep clean on Friday, so it was perfect to move in our furniture on Monday. Three people worked from 9am until noon doing a deep cleaning of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, LR, DR, laundry, etc. They even vacuumed the garage! We also had the shampoo carpets in 3 rooms. They did a nice job at a stressful time. Now we have peace of mind about making a fresh house our new home. read more

Updating my review to 4 stars. Last time when I gave them 3 stars, they called me see what can be done to resolve cons. They have been doing a much better job. The main difference was identified the crew that was under performing, unfortunate they sent the under performing crew the next time after my last review. I called in immediately to the person that called me to fix things and she said they will never send that crew again. Since then they have sent a new crew, and the same crew the a few time. This was the real solution, getting the right crew. They start to lean the house and how you like it cleaned. They never did read the instructions I emailed to put on my file. I ask every time, and they all say no. That solution didn't work, getting the same crew works. Why not 5 stars? Well I had to go through a lot to get a quality crew that comes each time. I had to weed out the bad crew. I wish they would read the instructions on the account so I don't have to do a mini tour each time. Also they still do not know how to make the primary bed properly. My comforter is white and not too fluffy so they may think it a blanket and tuck it in with everything else. I'm waiting for the day that do not tuck in the comforter. The good news is, since I'm starting to see the same crew comes back each time, I can let them know and moving forward it should be good. read more

The cleaners did a good job, but I don't appreciate the dishonesty when it came to the pricing, so beware. Philip e-mailed me a quote for the prices of a move in deep cleaning empty 750 sq. ft 1 bedroom apartment. The quote included the hourly rate per cleaner on top of a separate minimum rate for steaming my living room carpet. Luckily I saved that email. The two cleaners arrived around 9:35am and I was there to of course open the door for them. Philip called me at around 9:50am stating that the cleaners arrived at 8:30am, in which I said, uh no they didn't. I then didn't trust him to tell me when the cleaners would leave so I waited in my car to see when they left. It didn't take long for them to deep clean the apartment because it is a move in cleaning so there is NO furniture, nothing in the apartment, except hung clothes in the closet. Philip then proceeds to call me at 1:15pm stating that the cleaners are "just wrapping up and will be leaving soon" when in reality, I was already back in my finished apartment at 12:30pm. They were NOT in there that long to clean and mind you this charge is an hourly rate. Philip then told me he will call me back to let me know the total cost of the cleaning. I was disappointed that he never called me back. Instead, I see a charge on my card the next day of $505 for a move in deep cleaning of a 750 sq foot empty 1 bedroom apartment. He charged me 4 HOURS of cleaning when in reality it was 2 HOURS of cleaning. DO NOT TRUST their timing especially when it is charged at the hourly rate. Be present so you don't get scammed of your hard working money. I will not be moving forward with them for standard monthly cleanings. Plenty of other options to choose from. UPDATE: Melanie was able to refund the $505 and then charge me the appropriate amount of the service. The issue was resolved within a day which I appreciate. Thank you. read more

We needed a cleaning service for moving out of our rental and Maidly customer service was fast, friendly and helpful over the phone. I was able to book an appointment with only a few days' notice. The two-person cleaning crew arrived promptly. I showed them around the house and they gave me a five-hour estimate for the job, similar to what the customer service rep estimated over the phone. I left to run some errands and came back 15 minutes before the estimated completion time. I found them hard at work, mopping the floors. They finished up 10 minutes later and asked me to do a walk-through review of their work. I was very impressed. The place was immaculate, including the air vents in the bathroom, which were previously dusty. They even cleaned all the drawers and the inside and outside of our appliances. They made our oven looked brand new. Thank you, Maidly! read more

Team MJC crushed it. It was a two member super power clean crew that transformed our home. They cleaned so much with such high quality over the span of 3 hours. Things like ceiling fans, making the bed, they even found a better configuration for our trashcan rotation that now gives us more space. No photos, but I'll invite you to take a deep breath and visualize a loving home with nearly every surface wiped clean and refreshed. That was the feel at home after Team MJC came in, it a wonderful experience. We'll certainly be back and appreciate the work. read more

I had a really great experience with this company. We like to have our house deep cleaned once a year or so. Scheduling was convenient and easy. The cleaning team, led by Akira, arrived right on time and did a fantastic job - best deep cleaning of our house we've ever had so far. And the price felt reasonable based on past experience using other services. I think we've found a winner - we will definitely be using this service again. Might even increase frequency to twice a year because they did just a fantastic job. Thanks Akira and team! read more
