If you freeze it I would thaw it in the fridge first then heat it on the stove. I got two pints the other day. The first was thawed and I heated it up and it tasted just like it used too in the Legal Spirits restaurant. The second I followed the directions. Ran hot water on the edges and put the frozen block on the pan to melt down. That batch tasted a little over cooked. But, anyways hands down favorite cream of crab soup. You just walk into the antique store and you can buy it by the pint ($13) and there are some bulk deals/discounts.

I had to wait while they prepared the people dining in's order before they would simply add cold foam to my drink. The cold foam was not made properly and they tried to charge me an extra $5 at first until I questioned the additional charge. I did like the inside aesthetic. They have minimal indoor seating but do have a nice window bar. There were 2-3 employees there but only 1 of them seemed to be doing all the work. The cashier seemed a little frustrated, though it looked more like the stress of a long day than poor customer service. I placed a to go order, left a tip, and waited outside. My food was ready in about 20 to 25 minutes. I ordered the blackened scallops and the crawfish étouffée. The scallops were $13 and the portion was much smaller than I expected. More concerning, they had a strong ammonia smell and taste, which is a common sign of spoiled seafood. I ended up throwing them away. The crawfish étouffée looked promising at first. The roux had good color and a nice thick consistency. Unfortunately, after a few bites, I noticed the same ammonia taste in the crawfish. (Portion for this was a good amount) seems wasteful due to the ammonia taste. It is a shame because I wanted to like this place, and the étouffée showed some potential. Based on my experience, the quality of the seafood was a serious issue and made the meal disappointing. I hope the restaurant addresses its seafood handling and freshness.
