It is an unassuming restaurant with a decent amount of seating space both inside and outside. Very clean but nothing fancy which is fine with me as long as the service and the food is good and boy did they deliver on that part. We were seated quickly on a Saturday morning and almost immediately greeted by a very friendly server. We ordered omelets with potatoes and onions and the cinnamon role pancakes. Everything was delicious. The portions on the potatoes were great, although my husband would have preferred them crispier the server told him to ordered them deep fried next time. All of the food was excellent and the pancake was to die for, every bit was a pleasure. I loved this place, it was everything I want in a great breakfast and I will defiantly be back.

The Fool's Lantern was newly open (like pretty brand new!) and we saw the self-serve wine machines which are always fun. The four of us came in and the staff was super welcoming and didn't bat an eye at us just wanting to get some wine and hang out (versus getting food also). Our friends had a couple issues with using their card in the machine so ended up sharing ours. But you can attribute that to opening kinks! We had checked out their food menu and it looked good, so we actually came back a second time that day for lunch. We got a few tapas to share and I got the curry chicken salad sandwich. They did not skimp on the peanut butter! They have some great options, but you can also customize your own which is what I chose to do.
