I've now used them three times, and two of those times were big piping updates. Every experience has been consistently outstanding. Their communication alone sets them apart. The text reminder updates, and clear arrival notifications make scheduling incredibly easy. I always know the precise time of arrival, and that level of consideration is extremely rare these days. What absolutely sets them apart is the value they provide. You're not just paying for a repair; you're getting honesty, quality workmanship, and people who genuinely care about doing the job right. Joe is professional, friendly, and thorough, & takes the time to explain the issue and offer straightforward recommendations. Rhead Plumbing has earned my trust again and again. If you want reliable service, great communication, and the kind of value you only get from a dedicated family business, they're absolutely the team to call.

We decided to look for recommendations in my neighborhood mom's group and follow up those by referencing Yelp reco's. Decided to call Speake's Plumbing and so glad we did! We called on a Thursday afternoon and left a message and received an immediate call back. They said someone could come out the following day. Speake's was excellent about communicating and we opted in to receive text messages. They let us know that someone would come by between 10-2 on Friday. And they did! Enter Mike on Friday afternoon around 1:30! We showed him our bathroom and he could smell the sewer gas too! We had kept the door closed to keep fumes down to the rest of the house. Also opened a window. After he removed the toilet and scraped off the wax he found the real problem. He came to show us what he discovered. There was a gap between where the flange and the drain pipe meet. Mike fixed the pipe and replaced the flange with a new beautiful brass one. This is the only pic I took. We love our Toto toilets and asked Mike to replace the insides with a new flush valve kit since the current one looked really old. He replaced the toilet and cleaned everything up. We paid and he sent our receipt via email. The price seemed in-line and we were very happy with Mike and the service he provided. We will definitely call Speake's Plumbing again if a plumbing issue arises.

Please be aware this company is NOT Waterman's Plumbing anymore. Waterman's was bought out in a…read moremulti-company merge in the summer of '24. If you call expecting to get Waterman's, it will be answered by someone from one of the other companies. If you ask that one of the former Waterman's employees come to your house for the service because you're familiar with their quality, service and courtesy, don't hold your breath. The technician may arrive in a Waterman's truck, but they likely will be wearing the uniform of one of the other companies. I called Waterman's with a problem with a dishwasher. The technician arrived in a Waterman's truck but wearing a Harlan's work shirt. While he did a reasonable job assessing the problem [essentially the washer was 23 YO and not as powerful as new], when I asked him to look at a clogged drain in the kitchen, adjacent to the dishwasher, and even though we were still well within the one hour service charge window, I got a little bit of attitude either for asking about another problem or the technician having to walk out to his truck to get another tool, or what, I don't know. It was not appreciated by me since I felt that since I was paying for an hour minimum service charge, I wanted a little more than 15 minutes of service. Further, unlike Waterman's of old, after the service, I start getting inundated by emails from the conglomerate company with requests for surveys, advertisements, etc. I finally had to block their email since their "unsubscribe" link conveniently led to no where. The technician told me that the conglomerate bought the Waterman's name for 3 years, so you'll see Waterman's name out there for a while longer, but it's not Mike and his team anymore!!
