I asked them to send their top-notch expert technician, and I was very fortunate that they sent Jason and his excellent assistant (Ricardo) to my home the next day. They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing for any plumbing or water heater installation needs. This is a very professional company what goes out of its way to provide exceptional customer service. They said the drain line was broken at the septic tank entrance, and recommended a complete septic line replacement at 4000.00. I gave them 50% (2000.00) to start to have the line dug up. I don't know if they were in a hurry or what but I hope it was not a sham. Such a simple thing to diagnose - check the tank 1st to see if it is full. I figured that out on my own, thank goodness! So what they convinced me to do was not needed at all - the septic tank was simply full and needed pumping. Cost me 2000.00 and tore up my yard for nothing. My yard was torn up and there remains a 6" high by 12 feet long mound that I guess I will have to level out on my own since you can't mow over it. I asked if there might some refund on my 2000.00, and the tech said he would check, but I never heard back from them. Unless I hear something ( it has been 6 months), I can't recommend this company.
