We've been to a lot of the restaurants in Northampton and decided to jump over to Amherst to try a new to me restaurant. This was a cold and damp afternoon, only a day after a snow storm. Mom was excited to order her Tofu Bahn Mi, but I was really looking forward to a big bowl of hot Chicken Pho and a Summer Roll. Our friend tried the Rice Bowl with Steak and Shrimp and a Bao Bun which was delicious. My mom loved her sandwich. The bread alone was enough to make me decide that I must try one next time. My Pho broth was well flavored. The chicken pieces were slightly smaller than what I'm used to from other places, but there was plenty to enjoy. There was an adequate amount of noodles, basil, sprouts and jalapeños. My Summer Roll, while quite enjoyable, was a little difficult to eat. I'm used to having my roll cut in half and this was served whole. The wrapper started to fall apart at one point, but I made sure that I didn't lose anything. Our friend's bowl was good and filling and we were told that the bun was delicious,

Each time I've gone over the years, the booth barista took the time to get my order and deliver it looking fresh and sealed. With Bubble Tea becoming trendy again, and ideally forever, I appreciate this industrial introduction Western Mass had to a local teamaker's mixes. I even saw their location looking freshly organized, so I hope be there at their reopening. What else can I say? Their prices have been the fairest for fresh bubble tea I've enjoyed. They do sell products beyond bubble tea, such as other drinks, ice cream and sorbet, and including milk tea or your tapioca bubbles' replacement or removal for a variety of substitutes. I found just the right amount of ice. It was never powdery, shaggy, or curdled. In an era where even simple errors occur to frustrating amounts, or large problems arise surprisingly, the quality of my tea here was great. If you get a chance to try a taste of this Little Heaven again, make a date. :) Sincerely, Me

There are at least 2 other boba places from recognizable national chains a couple blocks away, but this one is locally owned. I stopped by about a half hour before closing on a weeknight. There were a couple customers already seated in the dimly-lit space. It looked like a college hangout, with a few tables and ample space to mill around and wait while being serenaded by Taylor Swift (the soundtrack of the night). I don't tolerate caffeine too well after a certain hour, so I was happy to see that they offered a decaf tea option in the form chamomile -- an unusual option at a boba shop. I got a hot chamomile tea with bubbles and half sugar. The bubbles were rather soft, even for a hot tea drink, and sweeter than I would've preferred, but it still hit the spot on a rainy fall night. If there were a next time, I would get 30% or no sugar added to offset the bubbles and the natural sweetness of the tea. The employees seemed nice, but I didn't interact with them much. The human-run register only accepted cash, so I ordered at the kiosk to use my card.
