Doesn't get much crazier than Purple Yam Bubble Milk Tea. There were literal yam chunks in the tea, which I wasn't expecting. First off- I don't like the digital ordering. Sometimes I like to ask questions of the employees to help identify what I want to order. Second- why were our cold teas handed to us as warm? Went there twice on the hopes that the second time would be better. I got the taro both times and maybe it's just the taro that sucks but it was so powdery even after I mixed it that I couldn't drink it. What I did manage to drink made me so nauseous and my friend who went with me and got something different experienced the same thing. I personally think the shop was very clean and my order came out very quickly. I got the rose bubble milk tea, which has a very prominent rose/floral scent. The boba was very qq, chewy and bouncy. Cheese Foam Red Dragon Fruit Tea (5/5): This bright fuchsia-colored drink certainly likes attention and snagged mine too. It is surprisingly refreshing, not too sweet and filled with chunks of fresh red dragon fruit. The boba they offered here happened to be of the crystal boba variety which meant the texture was more jelly-like than chewy. This tea was also their most expensive and cost me around $8, the most I've ever paid for boba. Cheese Dongding Oolong Tea (3/5): I always go for an Oolong tea to vet a boba place. I love the earthy, dark, almost roasty notes you get with a great tea brew. Unfortunately, Moge's oolong tea fell short. It was very much watered down. If you're planning a trip to Moge, I can't promise they'll deliver on classic teas, but their fruity dragonfruit gets a thumbs up from me. Otherwise, I'd just head to one of the usual chains where you won't have to shell out more than $5 for your boba fix. read more

As far as I could tell, I only got a cup of lukewarm milk with no hints of fruit or floral. I'm an avid milk tea drinker (and of course I always get boba with it). I love the milk tea places near where I live because there's always a variety of options, such as Kung Fu Tea, ChaTime, Vivi, Onezo, and quite a few other places as well. Thus, it's hard to get a good milk tea craving fix when I'm visiting my boyfriend in Western, MA. I've definitely had my fair share of bad experiences where the boba was hard instead of soft/chewy or just very distasteful milk teas. Thus, I didn't expect the milk tea here to be as good as it was. I tried the rose milk tea (ventured outside my comfort zone) and it was absolutely delicious. It had a light rose flavor that didn't overpower the drink, but truly complimented the milk tea flavor. Additionally, the boba was fresh, soft, and chewy. The only complaint I have is that my drink was not cold, but was room temperature. Everything tastes delicious, and their cheese foam is some of the best I've had. Try their super fruit green tea for a refreshing citrus/tea drink, or the mango cheese foam for something a little sweeter and richer. I went in to get a taro boba tea. When I got in my car it was just a cup with chopped potato and boba and milk. It's a drink I would of maybe liked if I was told how it was made but the employees cant speak english and had no idea what was wrong with my drink when I explained it. It would be a lot better If the employees could explaine the drinks better because ordering boba is already different so going to new spot was not a good experience.
