Like most outlet centers they have all the big stores and a few smaller ones, most of the center was occupied, not a huge center but more than large enough to spend an hour or two and stretch your legs during the drive to or from Los Angeles. This was our first time at these Outlets and if you've been to others in the past, a couple things stand out right away: These outlets are on the smaller end, think Cabazon Outlets and these are about a third the size. Having said that, I found all my go to stores and got more 1:1 customer service because the crowds were fairly manageable. If you're a Nike Outlet junkie like me, you'll be happy to read the Valencia Outlet store has nothing on Tejon Nike, which boasts greater variety and quantity of items, especially for the dudes. The management has monthly activities to draw in the crowds presumably and that's a nice touch. I'll be going to their Cinema Under the Stars with my two young critics tomorrow. Food options are close by but definitely not within walking distance on a hot summer day. read more

The Outlets At Tejon is honestly by far my favorite pit stop before you cross the daunting Grapevine to get to Los Angeles. When I moved to Los Angeles in 2015 I remember there was nothing there! So I would drive 3 hours straight to LA or rarely make a stop in Bakersfield which was rare! I feel about a year later this location was brand new open for business and it was poppin here! They had my favorite ice cream shop here that I fell in love with called Dewars which was a popular chain in Bakersfield my mouth is watering thinking about it! Anyways, Outlets are always cheaper than the main stores so I definitely took shopping trips here mostly at designer stores which is Coach and Michael Kors. I did go into Kate Spade as they had a location here. They have Adidas store, H & M and so much more! They also have restaurants on the other side too! However, with COVID the lines are pretty long and shops rotate to take their lunch hour too and will completely close for an hour so beware and plan a head! It's a must stop now you won't be disappointed at all! read more

If you're driving to or from LA and you're looking for pitstop I would definitely recommend stopping by these outlets as they have some of your major brands ranging from Coach, Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren, Old Navy, The Gap and many others. Yes, it is in the middle of nowhere but very similar to the way a lot of other outlets are throughout the country and the ones that I've been too. It's an outdoor outlet and the facilities are great but didn't find any true bargins that I was hoping to expect. Keep in mind, outlets tend to have major sales or specials... but not this time while we came thru. The Hacienda food court is in definite need of more restaurants as they only have a Subway, Asian Restaurant (food court, not a real restaurant), a burger spot along with a pizzeria. Other stores are opening up but definitely would make this a nice pitstop. If you don't find something to eat at the actual outlet, you can look at the surrounding areas where they have gas stations and other food places such as Carl's Jr, Popeyes and more. If you're traveling with young kids and need an area for them to stretch and burn some calories, they also have a play area in the food court. It's not much but something to let the young kiddo's stretch their legs and allow adults to relax for a moment prior to getting back on the road. read more

Most of the shops I like are here: Puma, Nike, Addidas, Famous Footwear, Columbia, Sunglass Hut... Just not much for unique different shops. Always come here holiday weekends to double down with Veterans discounts. Wish Puma had one. Little things like that inspire customer loyalty. Unfortunately, doesnt seem very popular even on holiday weekends. Kiosks are very very limited. No cell phone gadgets. Popcorn snacks. Only 4-5 places to eat in eating section. Lots of room though. With Christmas just around the corner we wanted to get a jump on the holiday shopping and opted to take a drive out to the outlets in Tejon. Unfortunately the ongoing pandemics impact can clearly be seen and felt throughout the shopping center. Multiple stores continue to be closed as well as the food court. Luckily you can still get a hot pretzel hahaha. Major stores like Nike, Express, Tommy Hilfiger, and Adidas continue to be open and draw in crowds. Honestly I wasn't impressed with the selection of items at any of the stores. The prices really didn't differ much from what you would see online or at another major retailer. The shopping center itself is very clean with plenty of parking. Prior to visiting I suggest reviewing the website for stores that may interest you instead of making the long drive for no reason read more

We love coming here before we head to Disney land. We love to shop at the Nike outlet and the sun glass hut. They have nice and clean bathrooms. They have a lot of stores. The stores are on a strip that is outdoors and spacious. The food court is closed :/. We asked a worker when they'd open and they said it is possible that it won't open up again because it's been closed for 2 years. They have cinna-bun and some other little sweets store. On the other side they have more fast food options- habit burger, Carl's Junior, Starbucks, blaze pizza. read more

In the middle of a vast nothing stands the Outlets at Tejon, the oddest yet coolest outlet center I've come across. Its remoteness is also what makes it so accessible. On a weekday, at least, there was next to no one here, making shopping, eating and parking as easy breezy as the steady winds blowing off the central valley. We were on our way back from L.A. and the Outlets serve as a natural pitstop once you make it over the Grapevine. There's a great selection of stores here - Columbia, Addidas, Puma, Old Navy, The Gap and so on. There's even quite a few decent eateries. It's a true outlet in the sense that most of what is featured in the stores is truly discounted and puts mall pricing to shame. I most enjoyed the wide empty corridors that allowed my stir crazy 4 year old to run around unencumbered while my wife did some shopping. I sat by a fountain in the sunshine for a good hour and literally ran into three other shoppers. I don't really know how the remote location is good for business. From a consumer standpoint, I'm all in the next time I pass through. read more

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE SUBWAY CAFE IN THE FOOD COURT ONLY. This place deserves no stars. Went in for a quick bite with the family. My mom ordered a pizza with pepperoni but wanted to add more toppings and the employee had already put it in the oven without asking if she wanted more things. Once noticing it was in the oven we spoke up and said we were not done with it. The employee got so mad saying we weren't listening to her when in reality she did not ask. She was so rude and unprofessional and when asked if they can remake the pizza with the toppings desired she said we couldn't. She was already working on our other sandwich and she dumped everything out of the sandwich without us saying anything and told us we can go somewhere else. I asked for her name and she did not want to give it out but upon asking someone else turns out she is the OWNER. Her name is Ravi. EXTREMELY rude. She tried excusing herself saying we were talking- of course we were talking i have my kids and were getting them to stay in one place but that does not mean she can give us whatever she wants and then tell us to leave. Such a horrible experience I will never go back there again and will continue to tell everyone else as long as she is owner to not return. There's a reason why they have bad ratings. The other employees were much more nice. The owner should learn from her employees, seems like they deserve the "owner" title much more than she does. read more

Gone are the days where the last stop to stretch before entering the Grapevine was a mini mart! I now have the outlets to stop at which can be dangerous lol. The Outlets at Tejon opened in 2014 and it's a somewhat of an upscale outdoor mall with 70 plus stores and a food court. It definitely is very nice and has the upscale look and while it has potential to be top notch it seems to be lacking a bit. I feel like they need more stores, it doesn't seem like they have 70 stores. If they put maybe a Kate Spade, Bath & Body Works, Nordstrom Rack, Disney Store and stores like that then it may bring in more people and more revenue. I always stop here every time I'm driving both to and from LA, no matter what and I usually stop to stretch and walk and check out some of the stores. The outlets are very clean and well kept, the bathrooms are very nice and clean but there doesn't seem to be many people there whenever I have visited. It could be lack of stores or maybe that it's a bit difficult to see. Although they don't have all of my favorite stores they have quite a few and I can usually find a good deal here and while 90% of the time I don't intend on shopping I usually end up leaving with a few bags in tow lol. The do also have a small food court which I have walked inside a few times but have never eaten there, they do have a Wing Stop for all you chicken wing lovers but that's about the only place I would try. The parking here is plentiful as the parking lot is HUGE and most people seem to park on one particular side so the other side of the lot seems to go unused. I do recommend coming here to check it out and it's a nice place to stop before entering that dreaded Grapevine! read more

Was driving from Northern Cal to SoCal for a short trip. I had an appointment at 3:30pm at Glendora and was doing really well on time as I over-estimated traffic. I decided that it would probably be best that I stop for a few hours and do some window shopping, real shopping, and basically walk around for circulation before going up the Grapevine. This is a great little stop right after the grapevine. It is RIGHT off the freeway. They have the typical stores: Nike, Ralph Lauren, Gap, Carters... They also have H&M and Pottery Barn. The cashiers were all super friendly and chatty. read more

The best place to empty out and fill up while traveling on the Grapevine. There are over 30 food places to eat here, both fast food and sit down places. Chipotle, Arby's, Denny, Baja Fresh, Black Bear Diner, Pieology, and In-n-Out just to name a few! There's also about three gas stations to fill up and get snacks if you're not super hungry. I haven't actually shopped here, but there a lot stores from I can see on their billboards. Defiantly stop here if you're headed North on the 5 freeway. Because there's literally nothing, but sketchy gas stations random stores before you hit Bakersfield and then you're in Bakersfield. Which I suggest you just keep driving. read more

Well, stopped to shop specifically at the Tejon Outlets for the Le Cruset shop. We park, search for the shop then hit the bathroom. Upon our return guess what, it's closed for a half hour for lunch. Yes, I know staff need to get lunch, but shouldn't your businesses ensure that there is adequate staff, So the store does not need to close? Debating if it's worth it for me to ever come back. My second time visiting these outlets when doing a road trip down South. Each time I walked out with a few bags. This time only, I was in search for a new pair of sunglasses . So I stopped into Sunglasses Hut. Walked around to $20 and decided to purchase a pair that I tried on twice. The store offered a sale up to 50% off select items. Well the pair I chose was 30% percent off. Once I reached the register, I noticed the young lady quoted me more than priced even after tax. She seemed a little hesitant on even mentioning that she would honor the price that was on the ticket plus the discount. So me being the customer I informed her that the price needs to be honored because that's what it says and they are the ones in charge of doing inventory. She called her manager over I once again stated my concern he proceeded to blame it on the system and said oh the pricing must've increased I said well you should still be able to honor the price. We stopped here recently on our way to Northern California. I'm a huge fan of outlet malls and found a good selection of stores here! My son needed some comfortable shoes so we stopped by Skechers for the memory foam shoes he likes so much. The next stop, Nike, had some great items for my husband and myself. If you can handle the heat (it was 109 degrees on the day we were here), there are some nice stores with plenty benches and some cute fountains. The mall also looks fairly new and really clean. Although I didn't realize that there was a Coach Outlet Store and a White House Black Market when we were here, I will definitely have to come back when I have more time to shop! read more

If you frequent Hwy 5, you will notice a new oasis at the base of the Grapevine off of Laval West. Because this is one of the newest outlet malls in California, it looks waaay better than most I've been to...similar to the Livermore Premium Outlets. Once inside this four month old haven, you wouldn't think you're so far away from a big city. All walkways and common areas are very well kept. And the bathrooms are pristine. The architecture...everything from paint, to lampposts, to flooring...blew my mind! You'll find the usual suspects...Nike Factory, Banana Republic, Coach, Polo, J Crew, etc. Some that caught my eye were the Pottery Barn Outlet, H&M, and Wingstop!! Yes, in the middle of nowhere! Great place to stretch, take a bathroom break, or walk around when you get tired of driving. I expected to find a coffee place at this mall, more than just a Subway Cafe. This whole place is on the odd side. I think they are trying, but not sure if they are succeeding. Its an outdoor outlet with basically an oblong shape and you can cover all the stores in an hour or so. The food court, all of five places and only one a known chain (Subway). Seating was good, but with no choices who cares. We ate at China Max which was sort of like a Panda Express, but likely local owner. Most of the stores we went in didn't have great prices, but most were overflowing with customers. I don't think I will be back, but if I do it will be a while. read more

Always skeptical of the "real value" of outlet malls. Seems like some of these companies just sell stuff that nobody else wanted at hardly dismounted prices. In fact, some places like Old Navy produce "outlet only" lines of new clothing. Manufactured cheaper with poor quality. Tejon outlets is nice and new but it's mostly an outside mall. It was cold and windy the day I was there ( late November). I would imagine that it would be pretty hot during the summer. The only covered portion of the mall is the food court. Bathrooms are large and clean. They do have a pottery barn outlet.. The H&M actually has a rack of really discounted clothing. Premium Outlets located at along Highway 5 at the Grapevine exit area, more commonly known as tajon Ranch. The center has all the typical shops that you would normally see and an outlet, but not many upscale brands, except for Coach. We went on a weekday because we were traveling back to San Francisco. this location is really for travelers who are going in between LA and SF. The mall was pretty quiet, which personally I kinda like, but I'm sure the retailers don't like that. They need more premium stores & more upscale tenants that will attract more people to drive from LA to this particular Mall because it's only 1 hour away from west side of LA as opposed to desert Hill / cabazon. I try to stop here whenever I travel the 5 FWY. They have several stores I really like. Lucky, Old Navy, Columbia, Hot Topic, Gap and so many more... This is the 2nd time coming here. This place is nice, clean, and not too packed. There's lots of deals everywhere. Best prices at Nike and Adidas. Came back 5-27 for the Memorial Day sale and the sales were amazing at Nike, adidas, and puma. Unfortunately people don't know how to control their children and people like to put their baby strollers in front of the shoe racks so nobody can see anything, shop, or walk through isles. People tend to bring 5-6 kids just to get 1 pair of shoes. The kids run around crazy knocking into shoppers. Screaming like wild animals. I left Puma due to annoying kids and parents. Yup sure did put back those $24- running shoes. Maybe management at the stores can have people with that big of families keep their strollers outside. Works at Disneyland. read more

We didn't know this outlet existed until we passed by it on our way to Bakersfield. Decided to stop by here on our way back home. It looks a lot like the Cabazon outlets but smaller and with fewer stores. I like how there weren't huge crowds. It made for an easier and more pleasant shopping experience. Parking was easy too. I tend to not purchase a lot at outlets in general and my experience here was not the exception. We visited a variety of different stores but I didn't find much that called out to me. Overall, I don't think the discounts were very good. Some of the stores we visited are H&M, Guess, Express, Coach, Michael Kors, and Kate Spade. The Kate Spade store had a lot of adorable things to look at. We also went to the two different fragrance shops. The staff were friendly and sprayed the fragrances I wanted to smell on strips of paper. I wouldn't mind coming back here some day but it's not a must. read more
