This is our first time visiting the store. We've been wanting to, but it just never works out. This place is pretty big, and there's lots to look at. Make sure to look at the board when you enter to see what is on sale that day. Some items are priced pretty high. I'll definitely return in the future. It's okay here this place just looks dirty and I think it has to do with the lighting I think they should redo the lighting and the entire store it just gives this location a less than appealing look when you are walking through the clothing aisles or looking at the CDs and the other media on the platform above. Other than that their prices are one par with what you would expect for the Salvation Army, and way cheaper than any Goodwill I've been to In the last 2 to 3 years, give them a try I talked to Sam which I believe was one of the managers there he seemed really nice and told me to come back on Fridays where they discount a lot more items. I've never been inside the store but have donated items many times. We are having our house remodeled and had lots of really nice items, decor, fixtures, etc. My husband went to drop off these donations on 4/24/26, he was told that they were only accepting donations of brand new items. I won't be donating there anymore. read more

I came it just to look around it's been a while and wouldn't you know it I found something I didn't need. Brian & Brenda were front and checked me out they were fun and busy lots of shoppers looking for deals. H 4 H is worth checking out great prices on used clothes, house hold mess, kitchen furniture, appliance's, some sports, books. To me it looks like the have a little bit of everything. This is a large store with many items to fix up your home such as lighting, paint, bathroom vanities and appliances. They also have a large selection of clothing, housewares and furniture like a thrift store. There are bargains to be found but many items, like other secondhand sites, have gone up. Still, this is a unique place to shop for things before heading to the hardware store. Secondhand first! Chandeliers, switch plate covers, ceiling fans, yard items, etc: you can't find all this and more. I've replaced a chandelier and outdoor fixtures with items here as purchased a pedestal sink. This is a good resource for buying or donating when you rip out useable items from your home. read more

I can't believe what this place is turning into. Beat up rocking chairs for $400. Bedroom sets for $999. It makes no sense. I just left after the cashier literally googled what I had in my hand to get a price off eBay for it. When was this ever a thing. They will go to the highest price on eBay even though it hasn't sold for that price, then charge pretty close to it. They won't charge adjust their pricing according to damage or dirt either. I've also heard a worker in the back stating she is going to keep a whole cardboard box of stuff while it was still in the sorting area. It's getting pretty ridiculous. This place needs to be restored to its old managers. At this point, I may post corningware for thousands on eBay to see what they do with their kitchen section. read more

I'm a consistent customer at the Restores, generally 5 star experiences. This location in particular was a bit different. As I walked in, a young lady said "they must all be blind" which I thought was odd. And a gentleman did say "well I don't think anyone can see that little sign" but said nothing else, so I assumed it was a previous conversation. I shopped around but didn't find anything I could use, and as I walked out, I scanned for a small indiscriminate sign, and found one that says "apologies, closed today for safety reasons" Yet no one corrected my entry, she just insulted me and the other customers instead. read more

I've gone to the store many times and I've had great experiences the prices were reasonable and I found a lot here. Now I have no idea what happened but I talked to one of the employees and they say that there is a "pricer" that overprices everything. Cheap made in China plastic shoes go for $29.99?? Old beat up men's work boots with holes in them for $29.99. We saw items that are at Walmart for way less brand new. Now I no I can go somewhere else and not spend my money here but If everyone does that then this location is going to go out of business from lack of support. Last time I was in there was a leather couch for $100. This time I went in there was a leather couch for $600. I feel like they are in competition with the Goodwill. The Goodwill helps nobody they only make it's CEO richer. So what is the endgame with this store? Do they want to sell items or hoard everything? If things change I will change my rating. I love the mission of this store. Over the last couple months I've noticed they have made a ton of changes for the better. The store is more organized, has better quality product and they are constantly putting new product out. The prices are great and really help to make your dollar go further. Recently the store has started keeping new paint supplies, light fixtures, garden tools, all sorts of great stuff for cheap. Staff are friendly and helpful this store makes me want to go back regularly and see what's new. It's a great combination of Home Depot and the Goodwill. read more

Don't call to donate anything unless it looks new or unused. Drivers scared of management if they do. I waited 3 weeks for a pickup, only to be told we can't take it, we have too much stuff already. They did the same thing to a neighbor last month. Goodwill and Cancer Society only for me from now on. read more

I wasn't going to leave a review but after my visit I couldn't get it out of my head when I kept seeing 2 employees walking in and out of the back of the store they looked like they were up to something so I kept my distance but I notice they were looking around while walking to the back when I made eye contact with one of the employees I asked for their names just to be friendly but they just seemed nervous one of the names was John and the other was devion I believe I cant recall the second name I don't know exactly what was going on but it seemed odd I wish employers can always hire good honest people read more

I'm loath to leave bad reviews but when it is hazardous I feel I should say something. My husband and I purchased an under the stove microwave. The was a note that stated that the unit had been tested and was safe. Once we got it home and installed it there was an electrical problem with the microwave. You could smell the burning as soon as it was plugged in. We immediately unplugged it. Needless to say it's now trash. We spent more money buying the correct brackets, washers, screws, plastic ring inside as well as the inside tray. I will never patronize this store again. We are very disappointed that they would sell something unsafe. read more
