I did all the research on washers and dryers and it all pointed in the same direction... SPEED QUEEN. My husband got them for me this Christmas. It was delivered the week after. I was so excited! When I went to turn on the dryer it was making a loud banging noise. I immediately called my husband (who was at work at the fire station) and told him what was going on. He called URNERS and got the run around. We finally got a technician out in late January. He said it was the rollers and they needed to be replaced. ON A BRAND NEW MACHINE. Not only that, we splurged and got the TOP OF THE LINE MODEL in matte black. The most expensive set THEY SELL! So February comes and finally the next technician comes out to replace said rollers and guess what? ITS NOT EVEN THE CORRECT DIAGNOSIS! The dryer drum was bent! Now we have to wait for the new drum to get ordered and schedule to have that replaced. We have called Urners and asked for a new unit multiple times. We have asked to speak with a manager or supervisor. NOTHING. Can't even get someone to call us back to tell us to kick rocks. It's just disheartening when you save and save and splurge on the highest quality and then get this kind of outcome and get treated this way. The customer service from Urners really blows and I'll be notifying speed queen on the situation as well. Super BIG freaking bummer Urners.

Purchases need to be made online and they have curbside pickup. I was there for some shower parts for a bathroom remodel but I know NOTHING about plumbing so I was a little concerned about not getting the right thing. I asked the gentleman out front, Matthew, if he could help me because I didn't have a clue what to look for online. He said yes and looked at my bag of parts and knew exactly what I needed. He went into the store and he and another gentleman came out with two different options for me. After some discussion, I decided on one and made my purchase. The Home Depot parking lot has smelled like a decaying body for as long as I can remember. At this point, management should seriously consider having someone inspect the plumbing or sewer system because something is clearly not right. Ironically, the smell disappears once you walk inside, but unfortunately, the customer service doesn't improve much. Whenever I ask an associate for assistance, I get the impression that I'm inconveniencing them. The dirty looks and dismissive attitudes make it feel like they wish customers would rather not ask for help at all. I will give credit where it is due. One employee, Mari, was extremely helpful during one of my visits and was able to discount a damaged item I was purchasing. I genuinely appreciated her assistance and professionalism. However, a single positive interaction cannot outweigh what has otherwise been a consistently poor experience. I've been to this store numerous times for various home improvement projects and have likely interacted with 15 to 20 different employees over the years. Unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of those interactions have been negative or unhelpful. While Mari deserves recognition for doing a great job, one exceptional employee is not enough to offset the overall customer service culture at this location. I keep hoping things will improve, but after years of dealing with the odor outside and the lackluster customer service inside, I simply can't justify giving this store a higher rating.

This was our second time in so we knew where to go and what we had been looking at. We were helped almost right away and the adviser never left us until the deals were made! We purchased a washer, dryer and a fridge. The items are priced so you can see what the deals are and how much percentage can be taken off. (10% in most cases) We got 15% off based on buying 3 high end items. The workers are not on commission, they must produce and share bonuses. The prices are not bargain basement but very competitive to other appliance stores and we did have great, patient, friendly service. Our guy was very knowledgeable with 35 years experience so it made our trip in all that much better. We have confidence in what we bought. If you want to settle for a floor model, (scratch and dent), there is a lot of choice at this store. Look for the yellow tags. The appliances range from lower end to high end but no junk. Something for everyone with all budgetary needs. Free delivery in town. Free connections with free standing appliances. (NOT dishwashers, built in ovens, microwaves) A bit of a bummer there. It is about $100 for hook ups where they hire someone and send them out (sub contracted workers) Collect Buy Buy reward points. Also, apparently come on Black Friday for the BEST deals. Keep an eye out for rebates, certain appliances will give you money off your utility bill. (mail in with PG&E) Also, if the item goes on sale within 15 days, you can get a refund back to your credit card. YOU have to keep an eye on this though. Visit the store after your purchases, it could be worth the drive. All in all, a good experience and we will return for the other 4 items we need. Would recommend to all to go in and have a look. Not everything is stainless steel, you can get white, black, red. I love the mock kitchens to give you an idea of how things would look. They did a great job setting this up!
