Went into Furniture Land, found exactly what we wanted, Vanessa, our sales person got us a good price, and we left owning the six dining room chairs I needed the store is very modern, but I was looking for 70 style furniture to match what I already had in my kitchen. Their selection is so large I was able to find exactly what I wanted! The store was crisp and clean and they had the air-conditioning on and in Bakersfield that is definitely a plus. Our sales associate, Vanessa, 661-501-3096, greeted us when we got in and gave us as much space and time as we needed it. She was able to answer every single question we had! And she's not afraid to say I'm not sure and seek out someone else who has the answer. read more

This store is immense ! There are many styles of furniture to pick from in a beautiful environment. There are many room settings to give you decorating ideas. Rami was our friendly and helpful sales rep today. He made my purchase experience very easy. I was just looking for a simple recliner for my spare bedroom/TV room. I'm short so finding furniture that fits my body is not easy. I found my perfect fit and am pleased with my purchase. The chair was not in their warehouse and had to be ordered. It took about 3 weeks, which I understand is a very reasonable time. read more

Absolutely worth the two-hour drive! We came all the way to Furniture Land in Bakersfield after hearing such great things about their customer service, and they absolutely lived up to it. The General Manager and Manager were incredibly honest, direct, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. There was no pressure or runaround, just straightforward advice, wonderful pricing, and excellent customer service. We had been searching for the right sofa for over a month, visiting different stores and areas with no luck. Within about an hour and a half at Furniture Land, we finally found exactly what we wanted and made our purchase. Great selection, great prices, and even better people. It's rare to find this level of customer service anymore. We would absolutely make the two-hour drive again. Highly recommend Furniture Land in Bakersfield! read more

I should have seen the red flags once the sales manager picked out a mattress for us. We asked for a mattress to go with our bedroom set order. He said he'd take care of it for us. We asked for a soft bed, and we were sold an almost $900 hard mattress. We didn't even get to try it out before it arrived. Customer service is horrible here! They promise a free tv with bedroom order, and then don't deliver the tv when the bedroom set was delivered. I even have a picture of the sales ad in the store showing it comes with the tv. Our sales order slip also shows the free tv promo. When you try to get them to tell you when to pick it up in store they act like they can't find the order in the system. Every time I ask for the sales person that helped us, Aldo, they say he's never in. We're still waiting on a living room set delivery too. The only reason they have so many positive reviews is because they push the delivery guys to have you post a review rating them right then and there once delivery is complete. Since all sales are final we were stuck with something we wouldn't have purchased. read more

This is honestly one of the worst places I've experienced for buying furniture. The sales process makes you feel like you're getting an amazing deal, but once the purchase is made, the experience changes completely. I purchased my furniture on August 2, and I'm still waiting for some of my items to be delivered. Several weeks have passed, and instead of getting a clear update, I've been given repeated promises that the shipment is delayed. In some cases, I've even felt pressured to consider other furniture instead. If you're considering buying from this place, I strongly recommend doing your research first. A great deal isn't worth it if you end up waiting weeks for your order and constantly having to follow up just to get basic information about your delivery. read more

2026 Is the first time I visited the furniture store, that being said I was greeted by the kindest gentleman name Shawn. Before I even browsed the store I sat down on a accent chair and I mentioned that I was interested in a accent chair I saw on Instagram but had no idea that here several types of accent chairs to choose. Well long story short I not only purchased an accent chair I also purchased a lovely sofa. I would like to mention the sofas tag did not mention the color for fabric? I saw a similar sofa for another furniture store and the color of fabric was parchment and it is soft like a chenille in my opinion. I displayed only two toss pillows I feel there's just too many pillows for the sofa. My living room is a rectangular shape so I did not need an entire furniture set since I wanted to create a spacious living room. Well, today the delivery men name Tony and Juan arrived at my house and unboxed/unwrapped my items carefully and placed items as requested, these to men do an excellent job. Thanks a bunch, Tony and Juan! "Everyone I highly recommend this furniture store." Mrs. Cruz read more

We went here because they sell certain leather furniture. The manager quoted us $22,000!!!!!!!! We have purchased this brand of sofa before and have never paid near that price. We left did a quick Google search and found another place and they quoted us $11,000 plus free shipping and set up for the same exact sectional! Furniture maker customer service confirmed this site orders thru them. This place will also get your reviews removed. Bad practices **reply to manager: nope I called the place and gave them the same configuration your manager quoted us on. With the exact leather color. He charged 100% more. I spoke to a person at the other place. You over price your furniture. Family owned business means nothing if you are over charging the community. I have also called businesses and they have priced the same sectional at half the price. As for your show room you don't have a good floor model selection. You are deceptive in your business practices. read more

Bakersfield, beware of this furniture store you're better off going to a little mom and Pop shop They lied to you about delivery. I was told I'd be to get my delivery in two weeks. They never called me. I called and they promised me it would be the following week Monday or Tuesday that went by. They never called me. I showed up to the store last Thursday spoke to the manager and the sales rep that's sold me the furniture and I was told it would be picked up on Thursday and be delivered to your house on Friday while today is Friday. No furniture in sight. There's no manager there until next week which I don't believe they won't give you a refund because if you sign your receipt, basically his contract no refunds no cancellations. I would never never refer this store to anyone not even to my enemies people in Bakersfield. Please do not go to this store. Terrible. read more

My first review was based on the euphoria of buying something we needed. Since then I've discovered that they're overpriced (considerably!!!!) and offer no service after the sale. I had to call multiple times to remind them that we bought a bed from them that hadn't been delivered, and finally was about six weeks after the sale. I'm not sure that the adjustable frame was set up correctly but it works okay - we just don't feel the massage feature as strongly as we did in the showroom. But there's no recourse. Do NOT buy here... you're better off buying out of boxes at Costco. Thanks. read more

ZERO-0; ZERO-0; ZERO-0; ZERO-0 IS WHAT THEY GET!! Very unprofessional business. They con you into getting what they don't even have in stock, lie to you just to get their commission and monthly quota! DO NOT PURCHASE from this store or any of their affiliate stores. If they don't have it in stock after you purchase what you like, they'll tell you to go to the other stores and pick something else you don't like. We were informed that we'd get our shipment but they don't know when, they're not in stock nor do they make that product anymore. What kind of drama store do you run? Hope they're having fun on their yearly managers Vegas trip instead of helping their customers. We recently moved from the San Fernando Valley, which has been my home since I was eight years old. Moving to a completely new town, we were unsure where to go for furniture for our new home. After looking around for a few weeks and visiting different stores, we prioritized good customer service and better prices, all while keeping quality in mind--quality over quantity! We decided to proceed with Furniture Line. Our purchase process went smoothly, and we were satisfied with the price until it came time for delivery. After eight weeks of anxiously waiting for a custom sectional, we discovered that the salesperson had ordered the wrong size, wrong color, and overall the wrong item. We were extremely upset and decided to speak with the store manager, Caroline. We are truly grateful for Caroline. She understood our situation, was very professional and kind, and did everything in her power to rectify this unfortunate circumstance. Outcustom sectional was delivered last week, even the delivery people were very professional (Victor & Martin) polite, very clean and organize. I would highly recommend Furniture Land to anyone, mistake happened. but it's very rare when a store manager goes over beyond to make sure that things get corrected and the customers happy and satisfied like Caroline did, we are definitely going back for future purchases. read more

Absolutely disappointed with this company. I ordered a brand new sofa expecting it to arrive in perfect condition, but instead, it showed up damaged. Rather than taking full responsibility and replacing the item--as any reputable company should--they only offered to "fix" it. Let's be honest: when you pay full price for brand new furniture, you shouldn't have to settle for a repaired or patched-up item. That defeats the entire purpose of buying something new. Why should a customer be stuck with a defective product from day one? Their customer service was dismissive, and their solution shows a complete lack of accountability. This is not how you treat paying customers. If you're thinking about buying from them, be prepared to gamble with your money and your time. I'll never shop here again--and I highly recommend others think twice before doing so. read more

The scrapes look worse after time. The movers scraped my floor and wanted to cut out a piece of my linoleum and try to match my 15 year old flooring with another piece of linoleum. (A piece not the entire floor) I was like that would look worse than the scrapes. Can you just replace the cheap linoleum in my kitchen? At first he said yes that's not a problem let me send someone out. They had no other suggestions to repair it. Actually the guy who they sent took the piece of material that I had (from the day they scrapped it) to try and find something that matched and then said he had some material he could use to replace my floor and I said yes that is a wonderful ideal. His boss called back and said his suggestion was not going to be honored and that I wanted too much. I was like I just wanted the linoleum to be replaced. He suggested the other material. Gave me the run around for weeks and then decided they weren't going to fix anything and furniturelands way of fixing it was to give a $100 store credit. I went in to try and use it but the vases were $150 plus. So I haven't even used that. The furniture is nice and they even brought out more fillers to fluff it but their moving company will not correct their mistake and it's really unfortunate. read more

My daughter and I decided we were just gonna "Window shop" for a vanity set for her bedroom. So on this day we did exactly that, and suprise suprise, what did they have in the window with lights on and sparkling and shining like as if the furniture Gods heard my daughter's wishes . So ofcourse I had to make that right turn in to the parking lot. Lol!! Before we got out of the car I reminded her that this was just window shopping. And she gave me the "Yeah Right mom" look. As we entered the store we were greeted by Shawn, a very kind man with Exceptional customer service , Very observant man , before I could even say what we were looking for he already knew and walked us towards the vanity sets, He let my daughter know what the cool bells and whistles know along with assuring me that there are multiple ways of purchasing with either pay in full or credit options and reasonable ones . That was perfect for myself. Along with Shawn I was introduced to Caroline who was also extremely exceptional with customer service . She and I had a great conversation and she went above and beyond what my expectations were. So not only did I feel great about my purchase but I also had a great time chit-chatting with them I also appreciate the fact that they were able to help my daughter pick the perfect vanity set and set positive and happy tone for the remainder of our mommy daughter day. After a terrible experience at Ashley furniture, I came to furniture land in search of a small sectional. The sales people didn't pressure me or follow me around. I took my time and once I was ready, I asked for information on 3 different couches. Oscar helped me with all the information and made sure to get measurements for a custom design. I was being picky about everything because it's a big purchase in my book. But Oscar made it a super easy and pleasant experience. Not only was the sectional better than what I was planning to get at Ashley, it was cheaper and included more perks!!! Cheaper delivery and insurance. If I could give this place a 0 star I would. I purchased a bed June 20 it is July 25th and I haven't received anything not even a call. Every time I try calling they tell me it's on the way or give me an excuse about how they can't help. I wish I could get a refund and take my business elsewhere but they REFUSE refunds even though I haven't received anything. I got ahold of my sales guy Sean(a manager). He apparently thought it was already delivered. The lack of communication is unbelievable and unprofessional. Not only is the bed not in their facility yet but it won't be in their possession for another week. Only then will they "call" to schedule a delivery. Who knows how long that'll take. I am truly disappointed and wish I wouldn't have purchased anything there. My suggestion, go somewhere else. read more

Yelp Review for Furniture Land - Bakersfield, CA ZERO! I paid in full for a chandelier at Furniture Land over a year ago. After months of delays, I was finally told it had arrived--then suddenly it was "missing." Since then, I've received no clear answers, no delivery, and no follow-up, despite reaching out to the manager and the owner. They also promised delivery and installation, which they are now refusing to honor. This chandelier was meant to complete a special area in my home. I've missed important moments and family events waiting for it. I'm not asking for a refund--I just want the chandelier I paid for, delivered and installed as promised. They send 3 persons to look where the Chandalier was going to be placed at and said that I would pay for any extras but not worry that furniture land would pay for the installation not for extras. Which I was fine with and now the Chandalier is missing? I would not recommend this store. Once they have your money, communication stops. read more

would love to give a 0 star which is much deserved. A police report has been filed for this most unprofessional fraud company I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Nadar the sales person was/is so unprofessional, and a liar. So is Caroline the Manager. First, I let him know Jesus was helping before, and said he will honor cash prices not finance prices. he replied with, "Jesus is dead to you, don't even mention him again". Who says things like that about a coworker/teammate or about anyone. He tried to overcharge me on everything. He ran my credit without my authorization or a signature on the credit application. When confronted he said why are you being a difficult customer I thought you were going to be easy. He also denied running my credit until I showed him proof on my email. He still denied it. He also talks and talks to distract you from knowing what you are about to agree to or sign but I caught on. I already had credit with them. I let him know if it goes past that amount charge this credit card which I had gave him. So he was not to open another credit. I explained to him many times as I was going to buy a car that weekend and did not want the credit inquiry. When I called Synchrony they put it in as fraud, they then said I was still responsible because they sent them proof. I still refused so they put it in as a dispute still Synchrony still believed them and said I had to have the furniture delivered as it was custom ordered. (All lies nothing was custom ordered) and ready to be delivered and pay first payment was on 9/4. long story I know but I have to let this all be known for there never to be anymore victim/s. Most importantly is he forged my name and copied and pasted it on the application (So illegal) It is clearly noticeable and it is even misspelled. Please stay FAR away from this fraud store and don't be fooled by how big it is... NADAR is the worst salesperson ever. I wish I can post the fraud paperwork I have but just all know a police report had been filed against this furniture store and Nadar and I will wait patiently for the outcome. I was without furniture for 5 months cause of all this. I could not purchase anything until I knew for sure this was all going to be resolved in which I thought it would be but it was not. So, now a police report has been filed and I will go through small claims and/or a lawyer as well. Thank you for all your time who have read this. If I was you, I would never do business with such a fraud/illegal company. This is my first review ever but had to be done. Next is BBB. I already posted on google. They also have Quality Furniture! Stay Away!! This has all been a nightmare and so so stressful. PS... I can't believe they would go to the extremes of illegality just for a sale..But I believe in Karma!! the furniture is also cheap and the insurance takes for ever so I should have known better to not return. (I had purchased from Quality Furniture before). Worse most poor customer service ever!!! read more

Ok, in November the business manager responded to my post and asked me to contact Isabel in customer service. I made the trip to the store and spoke with Isabel and the manager, Caroline. Both were very nice, professional and apologetic for the previous poor service. I was given the tickets (voucher) that were not given earlier. I refused those tickets due to the travel restrictions. BUYER BEWARE! You will be welcomed in, left alone to browse. Once you've found something of interest. You'll be told that you can order any sections you like to create your piece. When, in fact, the salesman has no idea if these pieces are ACTUALLY available. WE placed our order, paid in full, anxiously waited our 2-5 week delivery time. At week 6 we called the store to check on our status. No answer. No call from our salesman. We went to the store in person to find out that they actually had no idea if/when 1 of our pieces would be available. Offered a substitute and the option to choose another couch. We opted for the replacement piece, which was not the replacement we were expecting, as the piece they promised was also not available. Now that the couch was in our home, we were no longer eligible to exchange for another couch. We were sold a UNICORN from the very beginning. Oscar told us what we wanted to hear to get a sale. I get it, salesman are shady. This was next level bad business/ethics. We're were refunded the difference on the piece that we did not want. Which is fine. But ultimately ended up without the couch we wanted and had zero options. Would highly recommend staying clear of this establishment. NO stars! read more
