I should have seen the red flags once the sales manager picked out a mattress for us. We asked for a mattress to go with our bedroom set order. He said he'd take care of it for us. We asked for a soft bed, and we were sold an almost $900 hard mattress. We didn't even get to try it out before it arrived. Customer service is horrible here! They promise a free tv with bedroom order, and then don't deliver the tv when the bedroom set was delivered. I even have a picture of the sales ad in the store showing it comes with the tv. Our sales order slip also shows the free tv promo. When you try to get them to tell you when to pick it up in store they act like they can't find the order in the system. Every time I ask for the sales person that helped us, Aldo, they say he's never in. We're still waiting on a living room set delivery too. The only reason they have so many positive reviews is because they push the delivery guys to have you post a review rating them right then and there once delivery is complete. They gave us someone else's receipt with all their personal information, which is a serious privacy concern. The chandelier we bought was missing 33 pieces, and manager Oscar tried to send an unlicensed electrician to install it. He lied and claimed the electrician was licensed, but when we asked for proof of license and insurance, none was provided. The electrician himself admitted he was not licensed and that management knew it. We also ordered a couch that has been replaced 3-4 times because the USBC ports never work. Every replacement arrived without being checked, even though the claims department insists they test them. Workers themselves admitted the couches are never inspected and just come sealed in boxes. My first review was based on the euphoria of buying something we needed. Since then I've discovered that they're overpriced (considerably!!!!) and offer no service after the sale. I had to call multiple times to remind them that we bought a bed from them that hadn't been delivered, and finally was about six weeks after the sale. The scrapes look worse after time. The movers scraped my floor and wanted to cut out a piece of my linoleum and try to match my 15 year old flooring with another piece of linoleum. (A piece not the entire floor) I was like that would look worse than the scrapes. Can you just replace the cheap linoleum in my kitchen? At first he said yes that's not a problem let me send someone out. They had no other suggestions to repair it. Actually the guy who they sent took the piece of material that I had (from the day they scrapped it) to try and find something that matched and then said he had some material he could use to replace my floor and I said yes that is a wonderful ideal. His boss called back and said his suggestion was not going to be honored and that I wanted too much. I was like I just wanted the linoleum to be replaced. He suggested the other material. Gave me the run around for weeks and then decided they weren't going to fix anything and furniturelands way of fixing it was to give a $100 store credit. I went in to try and use it but the vases were $150 plus. So I haven't even used that. would love to give a 0 star which is much deserved. A police report has been filed for this most unprofessional fraud company I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Nadar the sales person was/is so unprofessional, and a liar. So is Caroline the Manager. First, I let him know Jesus was helping before, and said he will honor cash prices not finance prices. he replied with, "Jesus is dead to you, don't even mention him again". Who says things like that about a coworker/teammate or about anyone. He tried to overcharge me on everything. He ran my credit without my authorization or a signature on the credit application. When confronted he said why are you being a difficult customer I thought you were going to be easy. He also denied running my credit until I showed him proof on my email. He still denied it. He also talks and talks to distract you from knowing what you are about to agree to or sign but I caught on. I already had credit with them. I let him know if it goes past that amount charge this credit card which I had gave him. So he was not to open another credit. I explained to him many times as I was going to buy a car that weekend and did not want the credit inquiry. When I called Synchrony they put it in as fraud, they then said I was still responsible because they sent them proof. I still refused so they put it in as a dispute still Synchrony still believed them and said I had to have the furniture delivered as it was custom ordered. (All lies nothing was custom ordered) and ready to be delivered and pay first payment was on 9/4. long story I know but I have to let this all be known for there never to be anymore victim/s. Most importantly is he forged my name and copied and pasted it on the application (So illegal) It is clearly noticeable and it is even misspelled. Please stay FAR away from this fraud store and don't be fooled by how big it is... NADAR is the worst salesperson ever. I wish I can post the fraud paperwork I have but just all know a police report had been filed against this furniture store and Nadar and I will wait patiently for the outcome. I was without furniture for 5 months cause of all this. I could not purchase anything until I knew for sure this was all going to be resolved in which I thought it would be but it was not. Buyer beware. We worked with salesperson Martin on 9/22. We were about to buy sofa set, we were on the fence about it, and told him that from the beginning. We applied for the in house financing, and it was just to see how much credit we would be approved for. Got the approval and we said ok, we are going to go home and think about and let you know. Do not send the order. We were promised, by liar Martin, that nothing would be charged until we said yes. Text him later that same day, and cancelled. Come to find out today, that he placed the order for the furniture we didn't buy and we now have a credit card bill and balance. Call him up and his answer is that's how it works. We have to call the bank and cancel the order and it will take two billing cycles to reverse. This was never at all explained. Tells me that's how banks work. No it is not how banks work. He never explained, that to get the line of credit for financing, that he has to submit an order. And if we decide not to go thru, we have to call the bank to dispute it, and wait it out. In the meantime, if we don't want late reporting for credit, we need to pay to keep it current, for something we never bought. If you decide to purchase thru this company, make sure you completely understand the ins and outs of their financing options and that if you cancel, what actually happens. We were misled, in that it was a pre-approval initially, and that NOTHING was submitted for our order,when it actually did. Martin is a dirty salesperson and shady. I ordered a sectional on 2/8/25 Saturday with salesman Kenneth and told me theres 1 left in their warehouse and I can pick up by next week Monday or Tuesday. I need my moneyback because they cannot provide me a date when the couch will be deliver and I dont have any couch at home. So 3/4/25 came I waited for another update she told me I have to wait for another 4-5 weeks because my couch has still not ship yet after 4 weeks from the date I ordered and the couch will be coming from Vietnam. By far the worst customer service I have received from a furniture store. Corey, the operations manager, seems to think it is ok to talk down to customers because his sales people left out vital information which can be proven in text messages which I tried to share with him. I can live with the mistaken information as it happens, but the treatment and lies from multiple employees who work at Furniture land I can not. I suggest you buy furniture anywhere else but here. You will not receive phone calls even if an employee promises you they will. Operations managers probably got the job because they are friends with an owner and do not know how to have a regular conversation without personalizing an experience and attacking a customer who would only like answers.
