Our pups & daughter couldn't take it, and it was late so had to stay at a hotel. Next day I took it to a place who let us know we needed a new AC Compressor, but they didn't have it in stock. I was in full panic mode and called tire mountain & auto on a whim and explained my situation. I knew they were closed weekends per their website & also it was so late in the day. When I asked them why it was gonna cost that much they said it was because the part was a little more than they thought but was still around $600 for the part and couldn't tell me still why it was adding up to almost 3,000 dollars. I got a quote at Honda what it would be to fix my car and they gave me a quote for 1,000 for labor and part. Don't take your car here if you want to wait weeks on end and spend 2,000 dollars for labor.
