I went to tiptop auto my car was overheating and I needed a diagnostic on what the problem is…read more They said it would be $140 for the diagnosis when I went to pick up the and find out what the diagnosis was. They said it was the cooling fan that needed to be replaced. I know how to do some basic repairs I decided to replace the cooling fan myself after replacing the engine is still overheating even with the fan working. At first the fan wasn't working so it would not cool the radiator fan so I if that was the issue now that the fan is working and cooling I'm not or somethings wrong with still heating up. I asked him to re-diagnosis and instead of re-diagnosing they just gave me my money back and sent me to another shop 20 miles away left me on my own to figure it out cause I'm I can't move my car more than 2 miles with the overheating. I would not recommend the shop at all to anybody and they were gonna overcharge me $600 to put in a fan that only cost 200 and the labor shouldn't be any more than 200.

Our pups & daughter couldn't take it, and it was late so had to stay at a hotel. Next day I took it to a place who let us know we needed a new AC Compressor, but they didn't have it in stock. They recommended a nearby dealership who when I went to it they told me they could do the job and had my car all day. End of the day said they couldn't do it. I was in full panic mode and called tire mountain & auto on a whim and explained my situation. I knew they were closed weekends per their website & also it was so late in the day. I was listened to, and told definitely Monday it could be done. But we had to get home. I thanked them & went to find cooling mats & portable fans to try to make the drive. A couple hours later my phone rang and it was the owner I had spoken to earlier. He called to let me know he had 2 guys willing to come in on their day off, so they could get us on the road. AMAZING owners, service, and boy is our car cold! They didn't jack up the price, which they easily could have. Forever grateful for the kindness of a stranger. I'd 1000% recommend this business! Neither of which is true, this place is trying to scam people into paying for services not needed. The hitch and bumper were smashed, and this meant we could not tow our camper back home to Phoenix. With less than a week to leave for home, our insurance company and a (unnamed) national body shop was less than worthless. So we looked around for a local body shop, and found Cran Auto Body. Mark came through quickly with a very reasonable estimate, was incredibly reassuring and explained the whole process to me. Even pointed out things he could reuse and did not need to buy. Super honest guy! The insurance company actually agreed with his full estimate! He got us on the road with a new bumper and hitch in no time, and we got home safe and sound. Very high quality work, factory OEM parts and everything. I hope to never have to use him again, but if any of you need that level of work, Crain's is the way to go. Also, a PSA. Always buy local, never go to the Walmarts of the world if you need quality work. Unless you need a whole lot of toilet paper in a hurry. In that case, go to Walmart. They explained everything well so I could understand since I know nothing about cars and said if I had any other problems to just call and they would help me. It was quick, affordable, and overall just a great experience. Alan was my hero today! I highly recommend.
