When I asked them why it was gonna cost that much they said it was because the part was a little more than they thought but was still around $600 for the part and couldn't tell me still why it was adding up to almost 3,000 dollars. I got a quote at Honda what it would be to fix my car and they gave me a quote for 1,000 for labor and part. Don't take your car here if you want to wait weeks on end and spend 2,000 dollars for labor.

The hitch and bumper were smashed, and this meant we could not tow our camper back home to Phoenix. With less than a week to leave for home, our insurance company and a (unnamed) national body shop was less than worthless. So we looked around for a local body shop, and found Cran Auto Body. Mark came through quickly with a very reasonable estimate, was incredibly reassuring and explained the whole process to me. Even pointed out things he could reuse and did not need to buy. Super honest guy! The insurance company actually agreed with his full estimate! He got us on the road with a new bumper and hitch in no time, and we got home safe and sound. Very high quality work, factory OEM parts and everything. I hope to never have to use him again, but if any of you need that level of work, Crain's is the way to go. Also, a PSA. Always buy local, never go to the Walmarts of the world if you need quality work. Unless you need a whole lot of toilet paper in a hurry. In that case, go to Walmart. Though if you are in that kind of situation you perhaps need to rethink your life choices. Otherwise, buy local, spend local. You won't regret it.

Our pups & daughter couldn't take it, and it was late so had to stay at a hotel. Next day I took it to a place who let us know we needed a new AC Compressor, but they didn't have it in stock. They recommended a nearby dealership who when I went to it they told me they could do the job and had my car all day. End of the day said they couldn't do it. I was in full panic mode and called tire mountain & auto on a whim and explained my situation. I knew they were closed weekends per their website & also it was so late in the day. I was listened to, and told definitely Monday it could be done. But we had to get home. I thanked them & went to find cooling mats & portable fans to try to make the drive. A couple hours later my phone rang and it was the owner I had spoken to earlier. He called to let me know he had 2 guys willing to come in on their day off, so they could get us on the road. AMAZING owners, service, and boy is our car cold! They didn't jack up the price, which they easily could have. Forever grateful for the kindness of a stranger. I'd 1000% recommend this business! Did not try and make excuses. He just wanted a chance to earn back my business. He brought me a loaner car, picked up my truck for warranty repairs, plus a replacement key for my wife. It was as clean as I gave it to them. (I just had it detailed the day before they picked it up). I was a little concerned as it might get filthy on the lot. Nope. Great job Ken Wilson/Crossroads Ford. Thanks Dustin. OH...and no charge for any of it! Even the key. It's a good day.

Thankfully, we were only seven miles from a dealership. After having the car towed, the service team immediately started working on the issue, despite their busy schedule. Although they were unable to obtain the necessary part on a Friday, they arranged for a rental car and drove us 35 minutes to collect it. The following day, I received a call to inform me that the repairs were complete. Additionally, the service team took the initiative to inspect my vehicle for known issues and discovered that the fuel pump was malfunctioning, which they subsequently replaced. WOW!!! AGAIN, DO NOT USE THIS SHOP IF YOU VALUE YOUR VEHICLE!! Only giving one star because you have too! If you value your car do NOT use this shop! Stated they worked on Mini Coopers, the car was fine absolutely zero issues other than the check engine light was on, took the car to them to get a diagnostic and they stated it needed 2 oxygen sensors and 2 solenoids. When they called to say the car was ready they stated all lights were off and car was running great. They mentioned they did break a line of some sort while changing the parts but they had repaired it. When we picked the car up lights were still on and it was smoking terribly. Wasn't doing this before! They stated they had gotten some oil on the motor to drive it and it would burn off. When arriving home we looked under the hood and the car was on fire. We called the shop, they came and had the car towed back. We had to constantly call and try to get answers about what was going on with the car, our calls and texts were repeatedly ignored. Called from a number they didn't know, and guess what........ they answered immediately!!! They finally called and stated there was a whole in a valve cover. Weeks go by, not a word, our calls and texts again go unanswered. After over a month they finally say the car is fixed and the valve cover has been replaced. Pick up this morning, drive home no lights. Still a little smoke, get back in it later on, multiple lights on, and the hood will not open. After finally working for awhile we get it open, they had broken the hood latch and car is in worse shape than it was before!!! This place is a JOKE!!! Again..... if you value your vehicle do NOT use this shop! They absolutely do NOT know what they are doing and will lie and say they do!!!!!!!
