    Ribeye and cheese fries

If you go to this outback I sure hope you get Ashley as your server! We were seated as soon as we walked through the door, Ashely was right there to take our drink/app order and had our bread out so fast! Our food came out quick and it was delicious. Ashley went above and beyond for us and made my husband's birthday dinner a success! The restaurant was so clean, and if we had a dirty dish it was taken care of right away. I would highly recommend stopping in to see Ashley and some loaded fries with ranch.

We were seated right away and our server was super helpful and had great recommendations. The menu is huge and everything sounded really good. They feature some things that you don't see elsewhere in town, like the Cudighi, which is a Yooper classic! Nate ordered that and I got the firecracker salmon bowl. I really enjoyed the food - the salmon bowl was a good portion and very fresh. I liked the veggies and the flavor was Asian-inspired. The Cudighi sandwich is basically a pizza sub with a spicy sausage patty that's been baked in mustard. It's unique and interesting, and Nate enjoyed it. We don't get to the NW side of town that often, but I would make a special trip to visit Roasted again. They have weekly specials and features, and a Saturday prime rib dinner!

Most of all, we appreciated the hospitality and the fact that the food was good despite the Saturday rush. Note: waited 25 mins for our App like orders, which we thought was a bit long but it for mostly fried food in my own opinion!! The patio area is so cute also even though we didn't get to experience it!

The service was exceptional from start to finish. Everyone was kind and welcoming. We ordered a cheeseburger with fries and a wagyu sirloin that had a red wine reduction, crispy onions, potato gratin and garlic green beans. We also ordered two kids trays which were priced very fair at $9 for the options and amount of food received. Our kids had the fried chicken tenders, grilled steak and picked sides of fries, mashed potatoes and fruit. The kids trays also came with drinks. Since this was a birthday celebration or server did make it special by brining a sweet treat and candle and even discounted my meal! Some things to think about when planning a visit: The restaurant is very loud. Make a reservation! It is popular. Plan parking! The area is full of great restaurants so parking is tough. Paid parking areas are available but limited.

I thought an old fashioned was an old fashioned, but this one was delicious and available for happy hour, can't beat that! Then at the bartenders recommendation, I had the meatballs for appetizer and the hangar steak for entree. First, the meatballs, very good, I'd give it a 4/5 minimum. Portion was very respectable, meant for a shareable appetizer but it was just me lol. The ricotta is a delicious touch. Then the hangar steak. It's the best steak I can remember having in a long time, and on a relatively inexpensive cut such as a hangar. I just can't express enough how impressed I was with it. And I'm not a sauce with steak type but the aioli just completes it so well. 5/5, and I'm pretty picky. If I come back to Grand Rapids I will visit here at least once.

I was surprised at how long it took for the 2 hosts to greet us - as we were standing directly in front of them. They were talking to one another, and it was probably work related, but to just stand there staring at them for a couple minutes while they ignored us was awkward. When they finally talked to us they weren't very friendly. Anyway, we made our way to the bar and it was full except for 3 seats. I think the bartender waiting on us was new. He seemed like he was pretty overwhelmed/in the weeds. He greeted us quickly and brought us waters when he did, which I appreciated. I ordered a Blackeberry Bourbon Sour and my Mr had Paloma Nuestra. We both enjoyed our drinks they were refreshing and well crafted. For dinner I had a really hard time deciding! I wanted to try so many things! Our bartender said his favorite thing in the menu is the chicken and rice bowl. That was something I was considering and decided to go with that. Excellent recommendation! The chicken was flavorful and so tender. The hot peppers were a nice touch. There was a lot of food too! I couldn't finish it all. Mr had the hanger steak that was served with mushroom and asparagus risotto. He said the risotto was the best he's ever had, and I agree. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and so was the steak. The space is really nice, felt intimate without being overcrowded. We are looking forward to coming back!

I was told that they also accept walk-ins, but I'm not that they hold any dining room tables specifically for walk-ins, so I'd try to make a reservation if you can. It is a nicely decorated place that is not outdated, but a classic steakhouse vibe; I liked that it wasn't too loud or dark inside. There's also outdoor tables. The menu isn't big; primarily prime cut steaks, a few entree alternatives, and some appetizers/salad options. We had 2 PEI oysters to try, and then we each ordered a steak (he got the cowboy ribeye and I got the Kansas City), and we shared the brussel sprouts and au gratin potatoes sides. Steaks were cooked perfectly! The sides were both really good too; the potatoes could've used a little more salt, but that's a minor criticism. The menu said the sides serve 3-4, but the two of us could've finished them both if we really tried. Our waitress gave me a peanut butter brownie to-go, complimentary for my birthday. I'm really glad we came here and we had a great experience overall!
