It's been a while since I've been to this location we went on a Saturday evening around 5pm they were busy but the waitress we got was super nice friendly just down to earth! She would cut up with you and come back to table every few mins even though she had a lot of tables she was waiting on. The food was yummy! I had the Rockhampton Ribeye with the grilled jumbo shrimp. Sides were a house salad (ranch) and a baked sweet potato. I have been to this location many times and I would say that this was the best meal I have ever had at this Outback. Everything was cooked well. The waitress was absolutely amazing - so kind and attentive- and I really appreciated that when I asked her opinion on dishes she was very honest! Per her suggestion, my food was very good. We got to a table pretty fast, also not to mention good parking, but our server was pretty much taking everyone's order on our side. It's pretty safe to say she needed help, but she was okay not the best or worst. And our food.. they messed our food up, got it remade, it took about 3 mins so i knew that was fishy. Well they reused the same food they gave me the first time. Food was raw, had to get my meal replaced 3 times. Our food still didn't meet expectations. I was looking for a discount or free meal. Server "forgot" to submit our orders(my wife had the soup and salad and I had a burger with fries. Food was not impressionable and the cheesecake, well I got what I paid for with dessert. I believe if you get bad service but food is good, you should return. I also believe if you get exceptional service and the food is lacking, you should return. Not so good. Parking was ok and that was the best part of the experience. Our waiter had on dirty clothes with a few buttons busted out of his shirt, it was early in the day. The steak we ordered was tough as shoe leather and very gristly, not fatty. It was very difficult to chew and not very good at all. The sides weren't very good either and not hot. When we asked for drink refills, the waiter came back holding our drinks by the rim. I politely told him to try again and to not put his unclean fingers where our lips go. He complied. My husband and I greatly enjoy eating at this location. The service is top notch, the server we have had the most often recently has been Abby, and she is phenomenal. We come and hang out and take up her table the whole evening, she always treats us with respect and delivers service with a big smile every time we see her. Awesome support! We needed a special accommodation and called ahead to see if it was possible. The manager, Dave, was happy to help us and even told us the best time to come based on our needs. When we got there they were ready and were very honoring of our needs. They made sure we were happy and comfortable during our entire visit. We felt valued. The food was great. My wife was hankering for a bloomin onion, so we decided to go to the Outback in Rome. I haven't been to an Outback since I was 15, and given our most recent experience, that will be the last time. Our server did not seem to want to be there at all, the bloomin onion was old and soggy, and had obviously been sitting for a while, despite our server assuring us that they were "made to order". I'm not sure which is worse, the blooming onion sitting for hours, or that it would be made to order and still come out that gross. The cheddar ranch fries were obviously microwaved by the way the cheese on the edges was scorched. The sirloin was tough and dry, and the steak nachos were just gross. The server never bused any of the dishes as the accumulated, even though we were putting them at the edge of the table, and to top it off, I accidentally left my card there, and when I called to find it, they said that they couldn't find it anywhere. Go figure. Next time I want a steak, I'll just go to Texas Roadhouse. read more

I was really impressed with the level of service here. My work team and I (six people) had only an hour to get offsite, complete a review of some documents and EAT before we had to head back to our meeting. The waiter we had (I wish I remembered his name) was so amazing. Not only did he make sure all of our orders were correct, but he also got our food out to us quickly and continued to refill our drinks and be available without bothering us. That's a rare talent among waiters, for sure. The food is usual for all Outback Steakhouses, I will say I grabbed one of their burgers for the first time and I was impressed. A birthday dinner with food I don't want to remember. Treating my taste buds to steak and lobster, I couldn't wait. One side of the table was served, while the other sat staring watching the others enjoy their dinners. When they were close to finishing the remaining received their food. Shockingly, I was the last to receive my food and my lobster wasn't large enough to be a crawdad. I was approached by the manager and a new tail arrived, this one raw! I showed the waitress, she took it away and I never saw the manager again. We paid for the dinner and walked away. Unfortunately, we received gift cards for Christmas for the OutBack. We walked in for lunch to a basically empty restaurant and were greeted by Blake who unfortunately ended up being our waiter. He mumbled about seating, about what a "day" he was having and then finally seated us. We waited 34 minutes and never even got our appetizer. Our waiter acted surprised?? He also acted surprised that my husbands burger has no bacon as it was ordered and said to him "well they don't come like that" and we replied that he ordered it like that to which he said nothing.
