We visited this restaurant after a long day of work. It took over 8 minutes for it server to come over to take our drink order. I was about to get you and ask for someone to come over when Miya came over. We ordered drinks and it did at the same time. My husband asked for catsup and ranch dressing. When they brought the food, it came to us in stages. After the entire meal was served, my husband asked again for catsup and ranch. Erin the manager was helping out with the service and had the nerve to say to us, "would you any other condiments to ruin your food with?" How RUDE and unprofessional. If my husband wants catsup and ranch for his fries and we are paying for the lousy service and the meal, then who the hell is she to make this remark?? We didn't ask for steak sauce, so we weren't covering the steaks, and it's not any of her business anyway. It's our money and if we want to ask for extra anything, we should be able to get it without snarky remarks. The food was very good, but it was hard to enjoy after her remark. We will return again because we love Outback, but not to this location until she has been replaced. Erin's remark set us off of our food and truly displayed what a jerk she is. I visited this Outback with my family and was extremely disappointed with the service. Despite having plenty of employees most of whom seemed to just be walking around we were completely ignored. It took 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us after we were seated. When our food finally arrived, our server was loudly singing song lyrics, either to songs that weren't playing or at the wrong parts of the music. The staff spent more time joking around and flirting than actually serving customers. The food itself wasn't terrible, but at a chain restaurant I don't factor the food heavily into the review it's the service that makes or breaks the experience. I had the Rockhampton Ribeye with the grilled jumbo shrimp. Sides were a house salad (ranch) and a baked sweet potato. I have been to this location many times and I would say that this was the best meal I have ever had at this Outback. Everything was cooked well. It's been a while since I've been to this location we went on a Saturday evening around 5pm they were busy but the waitress we got was super nice friendly just down to earth! She would cut up with you and come back to table every few mins even though she had a lot of tables she was waiting on. The food was yummy! The waitress was absolutely amazing - so kind and attentive- and I really appreciated that when I asked her opinion on dishes she was very honest! Per her suggestion, my food was very good. We got to a table pretty fast, also not to mention good parking, but our server was pretty much taking everyone's order on our side. It's pretty safe to say she needed help, but she was okay not the best or worst. And our food.. they messed our food up, got it remade, it took about 3 mins so i knew that was fishy. Well they reused the same food they gave me the first time. Food was raw, had to get my meal replaced 3 times. Our food still didn't meet expectations. I was looking for a discount or free meal. The steak we ordered was tough as shoe leather and very gristly, not fatty. It was very difficult to chew and not very good at all. The sides weren't very good either and not hot. When we asked for drink refills, the waiter came back holding our drinks by the rim. I politely told him to try again and to not put his unclean fingers where our lips go. He complied. At the end I reluctantly left a 10% tip. I'd say he was lucky to get that. Have a little pride in your job and appearance, you're serving FOOD! We come and hang out and take up her table the whole evening, she always treats us with respect and delivers service with a big smile every time we see her. My wife was hankering for a bloomin onion, so we decided to go to the Outback in Rome. I haven't been to an Outback since I was 15, and given our most recent experience, that will be the last time. Our server did not seem to want to be there at all, the bloomin onion was old and soggy, and had obviously been sitting for a while, despite our server assuring us that they were "made to order". I'm not sure which is worse, the blooming onion sitting for hours, or that it would be made to order and still come out that gross. The cheddar ranch fries were obviously microwaved by the way the cheese on the edges was scorched. The sirloin was tough and dry, and the steak nachos were just gross. The server never bused any of the dishes as the accumulated, even though we were putting them at the edge of the table, and to top it off, I accidentally left my card there, and when I called to find it, they said that they couldn't find it anywhere. I was really impressed with the level of service here. My work team and I (six people) had only an hour to get offsite, complete a review of some documents and EAT before we had to head back to our meeting. The waiter we had (I wish I remembered his name) was so amazing. Not only did he make sure all of our orders were correct, but he also got our food out to us quickly and continued to refill our drinks and be available without bothering us. That's a rare talent among waiters, for sure. The food is usual for all Outback Steakhouses, I will say I grabbed one of their burgers for the first time and I was impressed. One side of the table was served, while the other sat staring watching the others enjoy their dinners. When they were close to finishing the remaining received their food. Shockingly, I was the last to receive my food and my lobster wasn't large enough to be a crawdad. I was approached by the manager and a new tail arrived, this one raw!
