Tiffeny is hands down the best server they have. She knows our beverage order when we come in. She is always on top of it!

Phoutthani was the most amazing server! Very attentive and prompt. Will definitely come here and sit at her table again!

Tyler B was very attentive Veggies weren't cooked long enough but he was great and took great care of us. Thanks read more

Tyler B at the Outback in Murfreesboro was fantastic. We went to the bar area to sit and the table was still dirty from the last party. He quickly cleaned it off. He brought our drinks and bread immediately. Our food came out pretty quickly. It was cooked perfectly. Tyler really made the experience go from good to great. read more

We had a coupon to "come try us again" because we haven't eaten here in years because the food and service was SOOO bad back then... So we thought, "15% off coupon -- maybe they're better now!" We quickly started remembering why we left this Outback (I can't speak for another location), and it is just as bad as "back in the day"! First off, the pre-roasted sirloin steaks we ordered were over cooked but at least the Manager, Sean, came and told us first so we could order something else. I had ordered a salad but the waitress, Courtney, forgot it, so I said to forget it! Then the second steaks were tough, full of gristle and not really Medium Rare, but we ate them anyway. Oh, and my husbands parm rice was under cooked and had a black, curly hair in it -- gross! So, I saw that they had a carrot cake on the menu, and we can't find a really good carrot cake at most places anymore, so we thought, it can't get much worse than what we just ate! But the good news: it was pretty good! It was short on nuts, but that's minor to its moistness and sweetness. I'm mostly disappointed with Courtney because even if the food is bad, you should do the best you can to bring extra butter with the bread, refill drinks, ask if you still wanted the salad you ordered 3 minutes ago, or would you like coffee with your dessert? Am I right? In a word: inexcusable! In short, we MAY come back for carrot cake only, but NEVER again to eat steak. All I can assume by the coupon now is that NO ONE wants to eat at this location so they are trying to lure back customers. Do they think we don't have any other options in town? Wrong. read more

Consistently GREAT service! Wallaby Darned's, Ahi Tuna, and the Victoria Filet are a MUST! So sad to see that RJ is no longer the proprietor after so many years. The newly remodeled restaurant is BEAUTIFUL, though, and this will always be my favorite Outback! read more

I ordered a Victorias Filet Medium and it was not cooked medium and very fatty! For the price I expected much better quality.

Went here for a date night even with a reservation it took 30 minutes for a table..we were there for over 2 hours, had to return our bloomin onion because it was really burnt ,and they literally heated it up and gave it right back to us...our waiter was nowhere to be see. And he kept asking if we wanted the check even before our meal came out. I ordered a sweet potato it was so small I thought it was a russet potato.. Not worth the money or the time read more

James is an amazing server! Me and my family really enjoyed our dinner. Food was delicious!

We went here tonight due to a gift card we got for Christmas! I normally don't go to outback, it just isn't on my radar BUT it is now. It was very busy when we came in but we were seated immediately. We sat In the bar area and the service was great. Our server Sarah was AMAZING! She was patient and gave us time to decide what we wanted without being pushy, gave us ideas on the best deals for happy hour and was knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the 4 course meal and it was enough to share! We had the baked potato soup, which was some of the best potato soups I have ever had! Next was a Caesar salad which was tasty as well. The real star of this show was the chicken on the Barbie and the broccoli! Omg it was so delicious!!! The seasoning was so good, and the chicken was so juicy. I definitely recommend getting this and I will be back. Thank you for a great experience and great food!! read more

By far the worst outback i have ever been to. The bartender took forever to help me that i went and got menu from hostess. I went with the steak and shrimp. The grilled shrimp was terrible and the sauce its in was even worse. The steak was overcooked and like a dog toy. The fried shrimp and broccoli were the only redeeming qualities, but not for 20 bucks read more

Went to lunch with the hubby and had a great experience. Phouttanivanh aka "Tiffany " was great. Funny, friendly and she made sure we had everything we needed our entire time. Took great care of us! Food was perfectly cooked to our liking, everything excellent. read more

Really annoyed....my steak was nothing but fat and gristle. It was bad enough that I was looking forward to the salad except that after putting the dressing on it, I realized it was Bleu cheese dressing instead of Ranch. So much for dinner tonight. read more

One thing that is quintessential to a successful restaurant is the staff. They meet to be outgoing and friendly. Especially someone in the position of the bartender. That position requires someone who is socially inept and able to start, hold and continue conversations with their guests. A salesman/saleswoman that can generate revenue from the most profitable station in the restaurant (The Bar)!! Unfortunately this location doesn't seem to have a focus on putting key employees in that position. After sitting and waiting for 3 minutes as the only patron at the bar (that's a long time when you are by your self) and watching the bartender(s) do tasks at the bar I was greeted with "what can I get you to drink". Just a simple "hey there welcome to outback, I'll be rite with you" when I sat down would buy time before I started feeling like I wasn't important. I ordered a draft, sirloin, chopped salad and steamed broccoli. One thing I love about Outback is they use frozen mugs. The beer was nice and chilled. The chopped salad was great with just the right amount of dressing and mixes in the salad. As the service progressed we ended up with a new bartender coming on shift which must have been hungry because he seemed to enjoy eating the stuffed olives for drink condiments and not washing his hands after eating. Not good there.. The steak came out medium well NOT medium rare as I ordered. Shucks!! I sent it back. I just can't stand that well done of a steak. I heard the comment from a fellow bartender of "that is what I thought" why did it go out to the customer if there was any doubt!! The employees here may not feel empowered to be able to question the kitchen and quality of food going out OR no one may just not care. I don't know the answer to that. Well the re-cooked steak came out prepared medium rare. The broccoli was prepared perfectly. Unfortunately very little good service techniques were used during this meal by the first bartender. The second bartender seemed to have some personality. He came in later so I didn't comment earlier about him. This place use to be a great place to visit. Not sure what has changed. Maybe it's the new owners. read more

Really not impressed at all with this place. We got there right at opening so there was no wait at all. They seated us in the bar area which was fine. We started with the bloomin onion. It was SO greasy that the breading wouldn't even stay on the onion. It was a gummy mess. I ordered the prime rib dip sandwich and my husband got the classic cheeseburger. He said his burger was fine, nothing to brag about. My prime rib sandwich was not good at all. It was incredibly dry. I ended up taking most of the meat off and just eating bread and cheese. It also got busy shortly after opening and there wasn't enough staff to cover the tables. We ended up having terrible service on top of the not so good food. We won't be returning. read more

Love out back but this was a poor experience. I'm not going to bash on them but I travel weekly and visit many of there locations. I do not recommend you visiting this location. Waited 35 min, was not busy. For chicken and broccoli.... I have worked / managed at many restaurants in my day but this is definitely unexceptionable. read more

Outback Steakhouse - Clearly the photos that are up are from the website.Waited 35 min for this. Was extremely salty. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION! - Steakhouses Near Me - Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Never has the food and service been more bland and lacking than at this Outback. The steaks had no flavor. Our appetizer tasted like it had been sitting out all day. Pricing is way too high for the quality of this menu. Our server was mailing in the service -- we waited too long for our order to be taken, our food to be delivered, and for any follow-up service. I witnessed at least a couple of other tables that complained loudly about their service as well. . It's bad enough trying to navigate to and from this location. You'd think management would be seriously motivated to make it worth the effort just to get here. But it's really not worth it. At all. I would recommend McDonalds before this place. read more

We went in today, and the food was great. Matt M. was our server. He was very kind and attentive. We will definitely be back.

Lunch on a Friday. Waiter forgot one drink. Ordered soup, salad, two tacos. SLOW SLOW SLOW. No drink refills. Sad. Won't come back.

We had an amazing experience here. Husband ordered a steak that was not quite what he wanted and the manager replaced it with a fresh one for free and threw in complimentary ice cream. Our server was great and consistent. Everyone is friendly here. Will keep coming back! read more

II had the steak salad. It was completely soaked in dressing. I ate the steak but I wasn't able to eat the salad part.

I give a three because the drinks were good and the food was decent. My server, Jonathan H was awful. He was too busy sitting with other tables, getting numbers and avoiding our table like the plague. It was my boyfriend and I and we ordered 92 dollars worth of food and drinks. I would figure with big orders you'd take care of them. In the two hours I was there, he stopped by four times. Worst experience ever at an Outback. I hate I wasted my boyfriend's celebration dinner on such poor service. read more

Friday Night Date Night Did not want to wait 35 minutes for table So decided to eat at bar ten minutes after We ordered I get a text table was ready I would have waited ten minutes. Food was As Expected Ribeye was ordered medium delivered rare Bartender was like lighting dark I asked for med well if that was medium Manager served food back 15 minutes later Date ate while I waited Wasn't offered anything for undercooked steak or dessert. I am ok with that still tipped 20% Was first experience here and definitely won't be back .Other steakhouse for price about same has better customer service 1 and Done sell outback stock in my portfolio on Monday, read more

It was okay. Went here on a Thursday and the service was okay. The food was just okay. For the prices they have, you would expect a taste of more quality. Also took a while for our food to come out. All we ordered was a quesadilla and a chicken meal. Overall, it was JUST okay. We probably won't be back. read more

Tyler B was awesome! He was super busy and took great care of us. Great service!! Thanks!

Our waitress Jennifer was awesome. We had bread and drinks immediately. Our food came out fast and our drinks were refilled always. She brought us our ticket and there was no wait. If only every restaurant we went to had the awesome service like this the restaurant world would be a better place. The food was also amazing. This is why our family have been lifelong customers at outback and this is why it is our favorite restaurant to come to. There aren't very many people in the world that are awesome at there job and those people need to recognized. You go Jennifer. read more

I would rather stop at a gas station, in hopes that they may possibly have some form of dried sustenance dancing beneath a heat lamp, than ever visit an Outback again. I came in and ordered a chicken sandwich to go with a side salad. The bartender gave me two weak jack n Coke's that were 10 bucks a pop while I waited. I got my bag of food came back 100 ft to the hotel, and blam no silverware. Shit, now I have to eat my Goddamn salad like some sort of godless barbarian. On to the sandwich. The chicken sandwich came as all separate parts of a sandwich in a box. There was sauce, lettuce, a bun, and a soggy ass chicken strip doing a backstroke in grease, all over each other in a sweaty ass box. It looked like it came out some sort of fucked up easy bake oven. I would have taken a picture, but I need my phone for work and didn't want to risk breaking the screen. I flushed this $13 turd of a meal down the toilet it deserves and went to walmart next door. I ended up with a $35 Walmart chicken wrap and it was delicious. Rot in hell outback, you turd of a chain. read more

Overall the meals were good. However once again the ribeye has the texture and gristle of a Sirloin. Disappointed in ribeye.

Very disappointed. Was informed after waiting an hour for out main course that somehow the order ticket disappeared and they had just now put our order on the grill. Received our meal free and staff was very apologetic but will never return to this establishment. read more

Tiffeny is the best waitress. We always ask for her when we come in and she never disappoints. She always remembers our drink order.

We were at Outback recently with a large group and they were very busy. In spite of this, the food and service were exceptional. Tyler, our server, was outstanding. Although he was very busy, he was friendly, professional, and never made us feel rushed. If anybody at Outback is listening, this young man deserves some kind of award. Our order was large and complicated but everything came out perfectly. The rest of the staff were also very accommodating. We had a wonderful evening. The only small quibble we had was the wait for our food was longish, but, as I mentioned, they were very busy. read more

outback is one of my favorites, but the staff at the murfreesboro location is the best.....Marisa and Sheala are absolutely the best! Witty, conversationalist, and very attentive. And for a patron at the bar.....exactly what you are looking for. Looking forward to coming back! read more
