Nice staff but this place is in a desperate need of a good cleaning. The floors were so greasy that you slip everywhere in the restaurant.

Stopped in for dinner with friends on a Tuesday night. Got a seat in the bar so we could see the TVs to watch a game that was on. Our waiter was nice enough but seemed a little forgetful. Ordered water with lemon, didn't get lemon. Ordered a salad with no croutons, had croutons. Asked for ranch with my meal, no ranch. Once reminded he nicely got what was missing, but I wish I didn't have to ask twice. When we ordered dessert; the caramel cookie came out cold...the exact opposite of what we were expecting when ordering a skillet cookie. When we mentioned it to the waiter, the owner came to the table and apologized and took it off the check, even offered to get a new one hit and packed to go. Wasn't a terrible experience, just not stellar. I would be willing to go back and give them another chance. read more

I did the on line reservations for 6:30 pm. We had to change it to 7 pm and the website made it very easy to make the change. We were seated around 7:30 pm. The appetizer (blooming onion), food and drinks were very good. I really like the way their baked potatoes are seasoned. They must roll them in oil and then in salt in Pepper. We've been to the Outback many times and have always enjoyed it, the only problem for me was that they took the Lamb off of the menu. It's a staple in Australia and New Zealand. With the Aussie theme of the Outback I'm surprised that they don't offer it anymore. For those of you who want the Lamb Chops, we found them at Chop House. We still like The Outback for steaks and other things. At lunch, we especially enjoy the shrimp Tacos. read more

My steak was cooked well instead of medium rare, service took forever, and we watched a server put someone else's dirty dishes on the tray with our food as it was coming out. A dirty fork was almost dropped on one of our plates. That's disgusting under any circumstances, but during the current times with Covid-19, it's UNACCEPTABLE. read more

My Daughter (visiting from out of town) and I haven't eaten at Outback Steakhouse since we lived in Texas, and that has been awhile. We didn't have time to go and visit the restaurant located here in Murfreesboro, TN. so we ordered from Blue Raider and had the food delivered. Placed an order at 1:15 p.m. No problem with the delivery, right on time, but the food was total garbage....next time I'll have my food minus the footlong hair running through my order as if it was put there on purpose! My daughter said we should have just gone to McDonalds because her burger was terrible and tasted really old and out of the microwave. Never again OUTBACK! $55.00 down the crapper! After loading my dad and his wheelchair, driving an hour to get there, then unloading it to take him in, when we got to the table we were told it was not available. NOT COOL. read more

Really bad overall experience tonight. First, we used the call ahead seating and were actually seated 20 minutes after our anticipated seating time. Server was nice. I ordered a prime rib, my wife ordered surf and turf. I asked for my prime rib medium rare and if they were to miss it to miss it rare. The food delivery was super slow (they were busy) but my prime rib was fully well done. I sent the steak back. Later the server came out informing me that all of their medium rare was out and if I wanted a well done steak. I said no and ordered a rib eye. Another 20 minutes passes my wife is completely done with her meal, and my steak arrives. Then, I got billed for the full amount after our 2+ hour dinner. This will be the last time I go to Outback. Next time is Dallas and Janes like we should have done in the first place. read more

Two stars may be too many for this place. My wife and I have not eaten at a Outback Steakhouse in many years, but we were given a gift card so we went for early lunch. Sometimes a gift is not worth getting, The food was pretty bad and the place was filthy inside and out. I had the outback burger and fries, my wife had the Alice Chicken with a vegetable medley. The burger was subpar. The toppings seem to be old and nasty. My wife's vegetables looked more like baby food and we're definitely frozen veggies not fresh. The blooming onion was good and my wife said her chicken was good. The booth we sat in was filthy and had about a quarter inch of dust on the light and the windowsill full of dirt. We also noticed walking in at 11:05 AM that's the trash cans outside of the building were overflowing and falling on the ground. Whoever does their cleaning needs to be fired or I should say lack of cleaning. You would think after not going to a place in 12 years things might've changed. LOL, I guess it's good to have a reminder every 12 years or so. I would not go back even if I receive a free gift certificate again. read more

Not bad at all but the porter house pork was to salty for me. They have the same meal at 99 Restaurant's for almost $6 less and the 10 oz ribe eye is kind of pricey as well. The tall beers were cold and delicious but not a full glass. Not bad overall though. Update.... just asked for another Miller lite draft and the bartender said we just ran out, wth if a restaurant this size doesn't have a back up keg something's wrong here, an they charged the wife for premium draft when she had bud lite. Ok, so my wife and I went to Outback yesterday for a late lunch around 3:00pm. We were seated right away, and told that our server would be by shortly. While we waited... and waited.. and waited, another table that was sitting near us got up and left. They said that they put their drink orders in, and had been waiting on them for over 10 minutes. Well another server, Chad, came by and explained that he was not our server, but would take our order since we had been waiting so long. He was great. I wish he was our server. He sat down at our table and apologized to us for having to wait. After giving him our food and drink order, he comped us a free appetizer for our inconvenience. We appreciated that. Finally our server comes by the table and brings our drinks to us, but did not introduce herself to us. Then she disappears... no where to be found. Our appetizer and side salads come out back to back, which is fine. She didn't bring either to us. I have to wait multiple times to get my drink refilled, which was usually refilled by a different server. Finally, our food comes out, which our waitress brings to us (surprise surprise). We asked for a box for the leftover's from the appetizer. She sees that my wife's drink is almost empty, and says she will bring her a refill. Guess what.... she disappeared again. Steaks were cooked perfectly (Good job to the cooks in the back!). We are almost done with our meal before the waitress brings the refill. However, she passed by our table three times to go to the people that were next to us. As we tried to get her attention, she just continued on in to oblivion. Finally she comes back with my wife's refill. She asks if we would like dessert, we say no we don't have room for it. At this point, both of our plates are pretty much empty. Waitress disappears again. We are waiting for the check to be brought to us, so we can pay and leave. After about 10-15 minutes, our waitress shows back up with the check and a free dessert. I finally figured out what he name was. We didn't want dessert. We just wanted to pay and leave. We each eat a couple of bites of the dessert, because oh wait it is hot outside and we can't take the dessert with us or it will melt. Finally she comes back and gets my card to run it, so that we can leave. Overall, Food is great here! However, our waitress was awful. We will go back to Outback, just not this one. Our waitresses name was Carren. Oh and a manager did not come by our table one time during this entire meal. read more

We got seated got drinks asked for straws never got them. Our waiter took 20 mins to come back and get our order. Our food took 30 plus minutes for it to all be wrong and sent back to wait another 20 mins for them to bring out the same wrong order. We never got refills, the table was never cleared off. We never got part of our orders till we asked for the check such as our ribs and Mac and cheese. Manager took $20 off... we had 5 of us. Not one of our meals was correct. My husband and I went to Outback this past week and had a wonderful experience. Our waitress was Emma and she was fabulous! We never once had to ask for a drink refill or remind her of something we were waiting on. She was on top of it, not just with our table but all of her section. I also noticed the manager helping the staff. It is always refreshing to see a manager roll up his sleeves and clean a table if needed. You can tell the staff worked well together. Oh, the food was delicious! My husband had the stake and chicken and I had the stake and shrimp. Highly recommend either option (although it only came with 4 individual shrimp and I could have easily eaten a few more). Thank you all for making out date night an enjoyable one! read more

Stopped in for late lunch/early dinner with a long drive ahead of me. Initial impression was the staff was very friendly and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Bailey did an outstanding job making sure I got everything I asked for (including layered cheese and extra bacon on my cheeks fries) and was very friendly. The food is usually consistent when I visit Outback locations (which is one reason I visit them) but what really stood out at this location was the outstanding customer service. I was truly impressed. Jonathan stopped by my table to ask how my meal was and actually took time to chat for a minute. I am really blown away with this location. Outback steakhouse...I'm Australian mate! I normally don't bother with chain steakhouses any more because their prices are higher but the quality of meat has declined significantly. However, Outback was giving away a million steak dinners and I managed to snag one. 2 stars for a free meal? How petty could I be? Very. The coupon only covers a 6 oz Sirloin and one side. I asked about drink specials and was told it was 2-for-1 for some weird Wallaby drink (pass) and a dollar off well drinks. A dollar off! Yeah! Let's get wasted! I was also disappointed to hear that Foster's is considered an "Foreign" beer. My ass. I ordered a Yuengling, the free dinner, added a portion of Mahi-Mahi, and a small side salad. Beer and bread were brought out first. The beer was OK. I could have stopped at a local gas station and picked up a six pack of Yuengling for the price of one glass, but hey, whatever. Bread was chewy and dark brown like it always is. I think it's rather sweet, but to each his own. My waitress was OK. Nothing spectacular. She took a good long while after she brought my beer to bring me water, but other than that I can hardly complain. Salad was brought next. It just looked revolting. I just saw a small portion of lettuce drowning in dressing with a couple of tomatoes and croutons thrown on top. I asked the server to take it away and she complied. Let's get on to the main event. The MahiMahi tasted of burnt rubber and had a faint propane smell. I ate one bite and then left it on the bed of fried rice it was served on. The 6 oz steak itself was pretty decent. It was definitely cooked on a flattop instead of wood-fired like the coupon claimed, but it tasted fine. It was on the rare side of medium rare but I was pleased with that. Potato was small and lacked toppings. All in all, my meal would have cost over 20 dollars if I had not had the coupon. This was not a 20 dollar meal by any stretch of the imagination. Next time I'll go to Slick Pig or Demos if I want meat in Murfressboro. read more

Outback is generally always a decent meal, so this is really about the service we had.. Last night we had a very pleasant server, and it just seemed to make everything else that much better. It was very busy when we arrived, with a 20 minute wait, so we were starving by the time we sat down. Immediately our server came over, and I'm so sorry I don't remember, but i'm pretty sure his name was Michael... Younger, brown hair... Great guy. Very attentive,... I even forgot to order something after he placed our food orders, and he went back into the kitchen to make sure i got it... The kitchen actually ended up forgetting, (BUT IT WAS MY FAULT IN THE FIRST PLACE)... but he tried to take it back and make it right several times, but i've been in the food industry, and didn't want to be THAT girl, plus... It was completely my fault for forgetting. A really nice manager came over as well and he even tried to make it right, but i was totally ok without. I can not say I was blown away nor unhappy with this Outback so I am giving it 4 stars. Prices of your normal steakhouse. The place was packed last night when our family of four arrived, we were told there would be a 15-20 minute wait and that is exactly how long we waited, which we were ok with. The lighting in this place is dark. Unless you are at a table where the light is dangling above your head, all else is poorly lit and a bit dark for my taste. Food was amazing. Steak was perfect, burgers good, and bloomin onion was great. Service was a little bit slow but that was to be expected with the amount of people dinning at that time. My main complaint is that the floors in this place were so slippery. I dont know if its the shoes we had on or what. The kids and I were wearing new shoes and were sliding all over the floor. I literally was walking on the floor like i was walking on ice. My fiance who was wearing a dress type of shoe was not sliding at all. It was weird. I seriously thought I was going to fall, it didnt help I had a 8 year old tugging on my arm trying to keep her balance too. Maybe they need to be cleaned of buffed I dont know but it was very uncomfortable. All in all this was a great place to dine, just wear your slip proof shoes! read more

Waited about an hour for a large party, which isn't unreasonable. However, after waiting all that time, we found out they gave our table away, so we had to wait longer. Unacceptable. Why have the little buzzer things if you're not going to use them? They gave us free appetizers, but still screwed up the meal. I ordered my steak medium-well and it came out on the very edge between rare and medium-rare. Some parts were close to raw. My sister ordered hers well done, and it would have been easier to eat shoe leather. Our server was very nice, but the food was well below average...even for a chain restaurant. read more
