If anything, service and amount of selections had improved. While Diane enjoyed a bowl of Baked Potato Soup and Fried Shrimp once she had pulled off the spicy breaded coverings, I opted for a crock of French Onion Soup, which was rather plain but hot and tasty; Seared Peppered Ahi as an appetizer; and a new entree of Teriyaki Filet Skewers. The Ahi Tuna was fresh, and the skewers made medium rare as ordered, and accompanied by Bell Peppers. I also placed two orders of sauteed Shrooms, which came wth welcome White Onions. Appetizers arrived before water and Iced Tea. But complimentary Brown Bread and butter enhanced our enjoyment of the meal, and we were asked if we wanted more. We accepted, and a second loaf was happily and quickly supplied. Diane was served a large loaded Baked Potato, and I had a delectable Sweet Potato filled with Honey Butter and Cinnamon. My Filet Skewers had an excellent balance of beef and vegetables spiced up by Red and White Onions. The Teriyaki Sauce was also somewhat spicy. The food was decent, but the service before we even got seated left a bad impression. The hostess initially sat us at a table where there was a drink spilled all over the floor. We tried to get the bartenders' attention so someone could help us with the spill, but they were too busy chatting to notice us. We went back to the hostess to explain the situation, and she told us it would be a few minutes because there weren't any servers available. We waited, but during that time, multiple parties with the same number of people who arrived after us were seated first. There was no explanation or acknowledgment, which made it feel like we had simply been overlooked. Once we were finally seated, the rest of the experience was just okay. I will say the coconut shrimp was delicious as always, that's one thing Outback has consistently gotten right. Unfortunately, the steak was a different story. We ordered it medium rare, but it came out well done and was way overcooked. Overall, the poor organization at the front of the restaurant, being overlooked for seating, and the overcooked steak made for a disappointing visit. The coconut shrimp was the highlight of the meal which is the review is a 2 and not a 1, but it wasn't enough to make up for the rest of the experience. My wife and I had dinner last night at Outback Steakhouse, I ordered the skewered steak and shrimp over pasta, while my wife order the steak and shrimp plate. Both the shimp and steaks were over seasoned, the two items were very salty on both dishes. The server suggested the shrimp and steak over pasta dish for me, after trying it the pasta was flavorless, I asked the waiter what type of sauce was on the pasta, he said it was their version of Alfredo sauce, I've eaten plenty of Alfredo dishes and this was nowhere even close to tasting like Alfredo sauce. The waiter could tell that I wasn't eating the pasta you would think he would have offered to give me another menu item. In summary, I wouldn't recommend this Outback to anyone. Other than our server trying to scam us and giving himself a larger tip than we already tipped, food is always as your would expect from a large chain. If you pay cash, always ask for a receipt! With the total. This location apparently (after posting online on my local rant and rave fb page) is know for scamming diners by adding a discount to your check after paying and then pockets the extra cash. When notifying management they didn't seem to care which leads me to believe they all run this often. Will not be back. But like I said, subpar overall. I regularly visit this restaurant inside the Aquarius Casino and always try to sit in Carly's section or at the bar on Sundays since she works behind the bar that night. The service is consistently excellent, and I'm always impressed with how fresh the food is. This particular location often has long wait times, but the staff works incredibly hard to keep things running smoothly and to deliver hot, fresh meals. For a non-high-end steakhouse inside a constantly busy casino, they run a very solid operation. Credit where credit is due. I definitely recommend it. They're open until 11 PM, and it tends to get quieter and easier to get seated after about 8 PM if you want to avoid the crowds. read more

We had dinner at the Outback Steakhouse in the Aquarius Casino in Laughlin NV on Sunday May 17 at our 4:45 PM reservation time in the name of Joyce. There were 3 of us. One person had the Kirkland Steak* & Shrimp Pasta and a diet coke. My Husband and I shared the Lobster Tails (2 tails) and we had water. We have 2 charges on our Visa One is for $100.00 and one is for $45.62 (don't understand where this charge is from, it's not ours) Below is what our bill should be. Kirkland Steak* & Shrimp Pasta - $29.99 Lobster Tails (2 tails) - $33.99 Diet Coke - $4.99 Subtotal - $68.97 Tax (9%) - $6.83 Total - $75.80 However, our receipt states that we had the above plus 2 Iced Teas at $4.99 each for an additional $9.98 bringing our total to $85.78 plus $0.90 for a total of $86.68. We did not have any iced teas; therefore, these charges need to be removed. Also the charge for $45.62 needs to be removed, not our bill. The manager is not willing to work with us and I have to go through the dispute process with my bank. Disappointed and will not go back. Therefore only 1 star. read more

Well after speaking with the general manager Garrett I went back again and gave it a try and to be honest with those who visit this place. I went around 11AM-12PM and the service and food was on point. The food was cooked to perfection and our service was excellent and very attentive to her customers. If you order steak, order it one level below where you want it. Ordered rare, got medium rare at best. I expected this, most chains are this way, so I usually order less done that desired. The Caesar salad was OK, but nothing special. You can get the same anywhere. The wife got the house salad with ranch, but claims there was no seasoning in the ranch and it just tasted like mayo. The steaks were fine for chain. A lot of fat on my bone-in. I wasted several cuts that were total fat. Wife took one bite out of her boneless rib-eye. It wasn't bad, it was cooked well for her. She just lost her appetite. More on that in a bit. Mashed taters were pretty good. Wife had baked, but didn't touch it. The lack of concern for theft ruined our appetite. So for the stolen property, they claim you can't bring outside food and beverage in. Fine, we were staying there, we offered to take it to the room. They said no problem, they'll hang on to it and even offered to cover the wife's with a cup to somehow keep drugs out of it? I guess? Anyway, I had a new fancy cozy gift (some 50 dollar doo-dad) with an unopened beer in it. They wouldn't let me keep it even with it being unopened and assured us it would be taken care of and set it behind the hostess. After getting the food the wife noticed it was moved and went to check on it. Stolen. Per outback: Yeah, fk you, not our problem. Talked to a manager: too bad, fk off (as politely as can be). I told them I wasn't going to pay for dinner and they said they can't let me do that but made zero effort to make it right. Security showed up but not sure if it was for another issue or me. Since I'm egotistical, I'll pretend they were afraid I would dine and dash (despite us not dining) and they were there for me. Lots of covered parking in the parking garage and some valet parking is available. Hostess seated me immediately, waiter took my drink order, when he delivered my drink he took my food order. Waiter was friendly and polite, very gentlemanly and attentive. My prime rib sandwich was the perfect size for lunch and the French onion soup was perfect. Eating area was clean, noise level was moderate. They had several TVs but from where I was seated I could only see part of one. You do have a choice of seating: tall table, booth, regular table or bar. I'm sure I'll visit again, just won't go out of my way to visit. read more

We frequent out back in our area locally, and are repeat customers. However, I don't think I would go back here. The ribeye steak was less than desirable. Although properly cooked, it was gristly and chewy all the way through. Somehow the asparagus was stringy and hard to cut, even though it was cooked soft. I'm not sure how that happens. The wedge salad was probably the best thing we ordered during this visit. It took us a very long time to get our drinks, we finally got them served well after our appetizer was served. Today I thought it was time to update my last review to state that the food & service continues to never disappoint. Tonight we had an awesome server, I believe his name is Lodii(?), he's from Spain, love his accent. He was great, funny, friendly & very attentive. My friend had the sirloin & Blooming chicken & French onion soup, both were excellent! I wasn't that hungry so I chose the soup & salad, standard house salad & baked potato soup, both were very good & large portions! We also shared their famous Blooming Onion, YUM! Got to the Casino and walked back to the Outback inside the Aquarius and it was locked and dark. It was 705 pm when we arrived. According to the website should be open with no issues. No sign on the doors to even tell you what or why. Just flat closed.....May not be back unless I happen to already be in Laughlin.
