Hadn't been to an Outback in a while. Visited recently and the experience was not bad but also not great! Our food took a bit to come out, my son's burger was pretty pink despite asking that it be cooked well done, and we were double charged for some of our items. The manager did come immediately and apologize for the error and also initially thanked us for choosing to patron their business when we first sat down, which was very nice. We tried a number of different menu items and everything was ok. Our waiter was friendly and provided friendly service. The restaurant was pretty spacious and had a good atmosphere. read more

Clean and consistent. Some special that are very good. Service is spotty. Good sometimes and sometimes you wait. Food is good. Lunch is usually quick and place is open and comfortable. Dinner menu has some good specials. Drinks are sweet. Appetizers double as a meal. Specials are a great value. The pick three is lots of food for a very reasonable cost. It was disappointing to say the least. The menu has changed, they no longer offer the pork chops, the steaks were overcooked, bread was hard. The only thing that was appealing was the blooming onion, however the sauce was very salty and no other flavor. The server was very nice but that was the only thing they had going for them. Late lunch today, I sat near the bar. Eric was the bartender, but also my waiter. I started with a house salad, with ranch dressing. It was excellent. I really like the onions, they taste sort of hot. I had 11 ounce sirloin with a side of broccoli. It was very good, I really enjoy the seasoning outback uses. Years ago, I would frequent this Outback and loved it. But it seems to me , perhaps this place had lost its direction and is stuck . The service was fine and the place was clean- very nice waiter. But the food for lunch did not work for me. My friend wanted a steak and he ordered a sirloin that he said was dry . I don't eat red meat at this time so I was looking for a sandwich. The pickings were small, so I got Chicken on the Barbie, which literally was bland - no flavor and the salad was mostly lettuce. The tomato dressing was good though. I've been to other outback's. But this one just sucks. Been here 3 different times with coworkers. And it sucked each time. The last time I went, I went through the carry out section. And some woman who looked like Lizzie McCarthy with Down syndrome was extremely rude and unwelcoming. I just want my food lady, why are you being rude?!? The horrible looking woman literally would not hand me my food, but also told me I could not grab it and had to wait for someone else to hand it to me. Calling the health department. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with what I saw!!! Food was good, service was awesome. However, I saw two roaches in the restaurant. The manager came out killed the roach and apologized. I was kinda disappointed but then I saw another roach which prompted me to rush my drink down to leave. Then I run to Yelp and there's other patrons complaining of roaches. The manager never offered to compensate us. We will NEVER be back disgusting. read more

Amazing. Elizabeth was a fantastic server. She brought my girls little Christmas koala clip on toys that usually would come with a special holiday cocktail, and they loved playing with them. The service was lackluster because the waitress and even the young man brought our food at separate times and then the cherry on top of it was we ordered two desserts and only one came out. Ambiance was great though. I'm sorry to say this first impressions are everything and what I saw was this establishment needs improvement. Have been here many times. It was a Friday evening around 7pm. Other places around the area were packed. But as noticed recently at other visits here, Outback was dead compared to others. Previous trips here were never great. It's cold inside. Very cold. Service is typically slow. Food is typically subpar. Food is priced way higher than comparable places in the area. Tonight was an improvement. Service was timely. Marcus was a great server. Very attentive and checked in a lot. Food was actually good for once. Steak was cooked right which never happens. On Valentines Day - my husband and i dined at the Outback SteakHouse in Hunt Valley Maryland. OMG - felt like I was eating in a 5 star restaurant - The food was absolutely incredible and everything served with perfection. I Highly recommend the Outback Steakhouse. All I got for Christmas was covid so my family dinner, as well as Christmas, was canceled. Outback was open until 9 pm on Christmas Eve so I was able to easily order online for curbside pickup. Came in today, valentines day, around 7. Hostess (looked like a manager) was unwelcoming as soon as we came in. Got sat pretty quickly after an entire college lax team came out so I was still thinking positively. Our waitress was fine, we both ordered soup and our entrees all at once. Our soup arrived first but my boyfriend's chili soup was brought out cold and he told the waitress and she took the bowl back and brought out the same bowl, now lukewarm, to us about 5 minutes later. Our entrees both came our lukewarm but at this point we were just ready to leave so we ate it how it was. so i have celiac disease, outback has many gluten free options so i called and got a caesar salad and a brownie sundae. The man on the phone was extremely nice and helpful , one of the easiest celiac ordering experiences i've had , i got curd-side pick up and the service was great when i got home i realized the salad had croutons on it which aren't gluten free and that there was bread in the bag (also not safe for me to eat ) i was extremely disappointed considering i spent more than 30 dollars on my food. I was able to eat the brownie ( which was not that good i've had 10x better ). if you have celiac please don't eat here doesn't seem safe at all. I'm giving it a two because the person the phone , and the one who brought me the order was nice. read more

Haven't been here in years, but had a gift card so decided to use it. They are definitely struggling with Covid, as it wasn't very busy and we had to wait about five minutes for a table. Short on staff is the understanding. Must say, from the time we entered until we left, the staff was very helpful and very friendly. Overall it was an enjoyable experience, which is not what I expected. We got an appetizer of hot wings. They were crispy and very tasty. We all ordered steaks with various sides. Everybody's was cooked perfectly and tasty. I don't know if the limited capacity allowed them to spend more time on each order, but we were pleasantly surprised! I haven't been to Outback since I was an adolescent. Honestly I forgot they existed. This was a very nostalgic experience. Pros: The Kookaburra wings are still amazing. Very juicy. Flavorful. Not too spicy and has a nice kick. The Blooming Onion was just as delightful as it was in the 90s. The onions were perfectly cooked in well seasoned batter. I ordered the pork medallions (medium well) with broccoli and a loaded sweet potato. You get 4 pieces of succulent pork and two sides. * For Weight Watchers: The apps are not WW friendly. I had 1/8 of the blooming onion and that was 9 points. I had one wing and that was 2 points. I had 4 bites of my sweet potato and that was 6pts. No regrets though. Lol. But.....the pork medallions are 1 point each. Our server was very accommodating. She kept us in the loop with our food wait, ensured our drinks were filled, and confirmed that our food was to our liking. Cons: These folks ain't slick. They definitely made the blooming onion smaller. Just like Cadbury think we don't know that the Cadbury eggs are smaller for the same price. We. See. You. Went here with my boyfriend and his family the other night. Had not been in a while. Our waiter, Paris, was awesome! The food came out in a timely manner and it was great! I ordered the grilled chicken on the barbie. Everything was cooked perfectly. We also had the signature sampler with Mac and cheese bites, onions, and cheese fries which was good. We were given bread very promptly which always rocks! At the end, we ordered dessert and I can't remember what it was called (its in the picture) but it came in this little cup and it reminded me of one of those dirt cups that you make as a kid with Oreos. It was SUPER DELICIOUS!! Our waiter even brought us out an extra dessert and when we asked why he said "to celebrate family!" How sweet! Would love to come back to Outback again real soon! read more

One of my all time favorite places to go it has definitely made a comeback. When I say I've been hearing & hearing so many great things about this new King's Pasta they have. So i made it my business to make this stop during my off days. When I say it was a pleasant surprise compared to the last time I visited this location. I sat at the bar & was greeted with excellent service from a great young black bartender (Forgot his name). He was amazing at his job because it was lunch hours & he was responsible for the bar & sitting area directly around the bar. He was able to keep up with all ours orders, constantly checking to make sure we all were good (without being annoying a skill very few have). But the best part of this trip no question was the pasta. When I tell you it was so good that I almost ended up getting one to go the combination of steak, shrimp, & whatever sauce it is that they put on the pasta is a hell of a winning combo. I promise if you are a lover of steak, shrimp, & pasta you'll thank Outback for coming up with this. read more

We haven't been to Outback since last year, so we came here for Lunch. The place was almost empty except for one other person. They have paper Menus or you can Scan the Barcode they have on your table to see the Menu. I had a taste for some Steak and Ahi Tuna. I was disappointed when our Waiter said they had a limited menu and wasn't serving Ahi for Lunch, and if I came for Dinner they would have it. I declined and got the Coconut Battered Shrimp and Wings instead. The Wings were good as always, but Coconut on the Shrimp was a little too toasted for me. We got the 10 oz. Ribeye and both of our Steaks were so Salty, we dabbed them with the Bread they gave us to soak up some of the Saltiness but that didn't work. Whoever is cooking needs to lay off the Salt, we could of returned it but we didn't feel like waiting again for our Food. Our Waiter was polite and attentive. My family loves to go to Outback in Hunt Valley; it has always been consistent. Ever since Covid-19 we haven't really eaten out or ordered food. We decided to order food yesterday for my husband's birthday. The ordering process online was very easy and user-friendly. You could order for pick up or delivery; I ordered delivery. The food was delivered in a timely manner and was still warm and well labeled. The steaks were cooked as ordered. The only thing I had an issue with was that we ordered a soup that did not come in the order... which was okay because we had enough food. I drove 30 minutes to Hunt Valley for a over-seasoned well done steak. I placed an order for a medium steak not well done! Anyway, my server was pretty friendly and patient. Upon arrival to outback, my party of three were greeted and promptly seated. The restaurant was socially distanced, and I felt comforted knowing we were so far apart from other patrons. All staff members were wearing masks. It did take us a while to be checked on by a server, but it was clear they were low on staff, probably due to the virus, not a big deal since we weren't in any hurry. Our food ( appetizer: mac n cheese bites, 3 entrees: baby back ribs, chicken and shrimp pasta, and sweet chook o mine sandwich, dessert: chocolate brownie sundae) was great, flavorful and well cooked. A couple of decent gift cards afforded my family to dine at our local Outback. It's rare we can sup as a family unit and today was the best opportunity to get out of the house and enjoy a meal. I've always been partial to the conjoined Carraba's, so, I was tentatively excited to see what " no rules, just right" was all about. We arrived mid afternoon to a sparsely populated room. Ambiance is inviting. We were seated upon arrival. Menus were abundant and a little overwhelming. No worries: we made our choices fairly quickly. My son and I shared shrimp on a Barbie appetizer over garlic bread and diced tomato. It was good and perfect for two. Entrees consisted of a large salmon filet with a dry baked potato topped with bacon and a side of fresh veggies; a large sirloin filet with a double order of fresh veggies, a Cobb salad topped with chicken and the Kingslander: shrimp and steak on a bed of fettuccine Alfredo. Presentations were all good as was the food. Value is decent for price paid. Service was outstanding. Before cards, the bill was just south of a C note. Pretty decent value for four adults. Admittedly, my preference still lies with Carraba's, but, I can see why Outback is wildly popular: decent food at a price that won't break the bank at price points appealing to most budgets.
