Great service on a Thursday evening. Thankfully work was paying because it was pricey and small portions. I've been to other Gordon Ramsay restaurants and gotten the beef Wellington and this one was smaller for sure. It was delicious though and cooked perfectly! The restaurant was empty on a Thursday evening around 7pm but the bar was hopping (not a seat to be had). Definitely plan to pay more but the quality of the beef was outstanding.

The one day I finally try to visit for a nice meal. I eat steak - refrigeration important - so doubt I'll return to try again.

We came here for Christmas dinner, since we were flying to Cancun out of BWI the next day. It was surprisingly busy, and the atmosphere was happy and lively. Bethany was our server. She was delightful and very attentive. All of the staff was. We were immediately welcomed by multiple people when we walked in. For food, my husband ordered the preset menu with the crab cake, 20 oz ribeye, and the cheesecake. I ordered the grilled Caesar, mushrooms, and snow crab legs (they don't carry king crab anymore). The crab cake was amazing. Perfectly seasoned and not too bready. The steak was also seasoned nicely. I wouldn't recommend ordering the crab legs unless you're willing to put in the work. I expected them to come split and easy to break apart, but I was only given the crab cracker. There wasn't a pick or small fork to help get the meat out. I worked for my meal. To unwind from the hard work I put in, we had an espresso martini and mascarpone cheesecake. Both were a nice way to top the meal.

Still loving this place but even more!! Came here this past weekend with relatives to celebrate two birthdays. We had a big party so online reservations weren't doable--we called and they were able to accommodate 11 people. Our favorite server is now Miles, who is AWESOME, so of course we requested his table! Food was great as usual. Enjoyed their Market Salad and Maryland Crabcake for appetizers--they also give complimentary bread and butters. The MUST GET is the 20 oz. Bone-In Ribeye--meat is tender and well flavored, so delicious!! You don't even need to get a sauce because it's seasoned enough. The New York Strip is good too! For sides, I recommend the Loaded Baked Potato, Creamed Spinach, Mac & Cheese and Roasted Corn! For the birthday men, they brought out two complimentary glasses of champagne and small birthday chocolates with a candle--which was sweet! Dessert wise, the Sticky Toffee Pudding is my favorite. Service is always wonderful here, even the manager Brent came over to chat and check up on us--GREAT experience as always!

One of the best steaks I ever heard. The food is good. This location is very nice on the inside.

Stunned, the best dining experience of my life. Staff was amazing, atmosphere was perfect (intimate while still being fun), and the food was out of this world.

Lamb Chops with Beet Purée, Brussels Sprouts, Pomegranate, and Garlic Oil.

I absolutely love this restaurant but what made it extra special was my loved ones taking me here for my Birthday dinner and the staff helped to make it special. I had the Lamb Chops with Beet Purée, Brussels Sprouts, Pomegranate, and Garlic Oil. The Beef Wellington is usually my go to but I wanted to try this and I'm so glad I did. Finally, I had the Sticky Toffee Pudding with Brown Sugar Ice Cream for dessert and they added special touches like a Happy Birthday chocolate and the candle. I'm so thankful. As usual the ambiance is gorgeous and your eye is either drawn to the flag on the ceiling or the wall of knives. Can't wait to return.

I wanted to celebrate my Birthday here. We made reservations for 7:00, but we asked could we be seated early since we got there early to walk around the Casino to see what was in there since it was our first time there, it wasn't much to see in the Casino. So they were able to seat us early. The Restaurant had a nice warm cozy feel. Our Server Miles was Friendly and explained the Menu and Special since it was our first time there. We ordered a number of items ( see pics). We were surprised at how small the portion sizes were. The MD Crab Soup hardly had anything in it, mainly Corn, Tomatoes and only 3 Lumps of Crabmeat. It was tasty but I was disappointed, I was expecting more especially for the price of $15. I got the Kansas City Strip Steak and the Hubby got the Ribeye, we both ordered the Medium, but after taking a couple of bites we saw that they were Rare. We informed our Server Miles and he saw them and agreed that they were Rare. He asked did we want to send them back so they can Bump up the heat on them? We said no we will just recook them at Home. We were surprised that he didn't offer to bring us out a new Steak, especially for the Price we paid for both Steaks which was $80 a piece. You would think that for that price they would be cooked perfectly, they did taste delicious. The Manager did come over and offered his apologies and did not charge me for my Dessert which was the Sticky Pudding. Everything else was good. I had a nice time, but was expecting more. All the Staff was nice.

New York Strip with shrimp added. With the street corn and Mac n cheese. Good food!

Lobster Risotto

We decided to visit one of the restaurants that we had on our checklist for my bday & decided to give Gordon Ramsey's Steak a try - being a fan of his shows. The restaurant is located inside of the Horseshoe Casino, which I don't love, but whatever Jamar - stop whining. I tried to get reservations for the new Hell's Kitchen restaurant in DC but that thing is booked up completely. Lol. I'm actually glad we came to this Steakhouse bc the ambiance was beautiful, our server - Bethany - was attentive, full of energy & super knowledgeable. Point blank - we got an amazing experience minus the hour long drive or crowds. Having just gotten off a plane, my Wife & I were a bit exhausted and not as hungry as we usually are come dinner time so we decided to just try some things. For appetizers we got the Japanese A5, which if you don't know is Premium Japanese Wagyu & is sold at: $40 an ounce. After getting a recommendation from Bethany, we decided on 4oz but after tasting this delicious, piece of beef perfection, I wish I had would've gotten eight. Point, blank, period - 10/10. The beef literally melts in your mouth. It's the most tender beef I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. For drinks, Bethany suggested a Chai old fashioned. It was strong but delicious & we both went back for seconds. Lol. 7/10 My entree was the Beef Wellington. I mean... cmon. Who goes to a Chef Ramsey restaurant for the first time & not try the Wellington, right? And it was good. Really good. But it didn't blow me away. Maybe that's bc I had the Japanese Wagyu? Bc it was very good & I have no complaints. Make sense? 9/10 Keena got the Lobster Risotto, which we loved, at the suggestion of Bethany, considering it's one of Chef Ramsey's specialty dishes. I'm a big fan of risotto so it was really easy to win me over, especially with how perfectly the lobster tail was cooked. 8/10 & the Mac & Cheese & Shiitake Mushrooms were just ok, not nasty, but nothing I have to go back & try again. & for dessert, at this point, we're stuffed but decided to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding, which, was a good experience - not sure if it beats my fav Toffee Pudding at Carmelo's in NY but it is definitely something you should try. 7/10 In closing, we had a really good experience at Ramsey's Steak.

A filet Mignon butterflied Oscar style please! Grilled Caesar deliciousness! Mac and Cheese - It's not your soul food Fave made but it's good. Lamb Chops, Crab cake, and truffle fries! Everything is always delicious. Don't check in and snap pics as etiquette doesn't allow for it most times. Today I was tucked in a corner. GR always has the best wait staff. Oddly enough maître d' never came around, no manager greeting either, although present. If your guests are spending upward of $500 for a meal, the norms of fine dinning should be present in the establishment. This was our only off Observance this evening. Food makes up for lack of customer appreciation. Parking lot did smell like urine, get car service or Uber if you can. Wish this establishment was not attached to the casino.

Beef Wellington

Miles was an excellent server! The ambiance was lovely and all of the staff were so kind. The bread was delicious as well as my Cosmo and my fiance liked his drink too. I order the Beef Wellington and he got the steak. It was delicious, especially loved the Demi glaze on the mashed potatoes (a high compliment from me since I normally don't like mashed potatoes) with the carrots and jicama. The Beef Wellington was tasty as well, however my only critique is that it was quite salty. The beef was so tender and the crust so was flaky and delicious, and loved the mushroom and prosciutto layers, but with the Hawaiian rock salt it was just a bit too much salt. I would leave that salt out and then it would be perfect. The vanilla mascarpone cheesecake was lovely for my birthday too. Overall a nice visit! Would come again.

Ask the Community - Gordon Ramsay Steak at Horseshoe Baltimore

How large are the sides? Are they big enough for two people to share?

Yes. My understanding is that they're meant to be shared. We enjoyed being able to try more sides by sharing than if there were smaller portions.

Do they celebrate birthdays? Give out mini cake piece or something?

Yup. A piece of his grandma's secret recipe dessert.

What is the minimum portion of Japanese A5 that can be ordered?

3 oz

Since this restaurant is in the casino, Does it mean that we cannot bring children?

Horseshoe has and entrance that doesn't requires you to go onto the casino floor and the restaurant is to the left so you can bring in under ages.

Does Gordon Ramsay eat here?

Actually, yes. He has been seen eating in this restaurant.

Are there any options for vegetarians?

Very limited, if you eat fish the salmon is very good.

Nice lemony, slightly spicy flavor. It came with a big side order of fries, some cole slaw, and a salad. It was "market price" and tonight was $40, which was very fair considering the quantity and quality of crabmeat. The waitress was super-friendly and attentive. Pleasant atmosphere, standard pub vibe. I wish we were staying in Baltimore longer so we could get back here; we had a really nice time.

The first thing you see is the bar. I went to the left and sat down at one of the tables. After a couple minutes a lady gives me a menu. After about a couple minutes I decided to go with wings and a burger. Only problem was, my server was busy serving about 6 different people at the bar. Finally after about 10 minutes I was able to order. I get my food 20 minutes later. I don't understand why it took so long when everybody just had drinks and I was the only one seated in the restaurant part. The wings(6 for $15) were just ok. I got honey old bay flavor. The flavor itself was good but the wings were not cooked all the way for the middle part was lukewarm. The Charm Cheeseburger($20) a half pound beef patty, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, red onion, on a brioche bun. I wanted bacon added which was 2 dollars more per the menu. The burger itself was actually decent and it comes with potato wedges. They forgot to put the bacon in there but I didnt want to wait for the server to let her know and then wait again just for bacon. At least they didnt charge me for it. Service, or lack there of was atrocious. Every period in between interactions took a long time. In closing, I spent 35 bucks plus tax and tip for bad service and overpriced mediocre food. My co worker had drinks here one night and told me it was way overpriced. If you want good food and/or drinks then go next door to the Water Street Tavern. Their food and service is great there. I can only remember it because of how awful the food tasted and how terribly prepared it was-I have never had food this bad in my whole life. It was about 2 years ago that i went, but I can picture the........meal, I guess we can call it.... that was placed in front of my face like it was yesterday. A steak. Simple, right? Nope. Not simple, not well made, not well cooked, not even the right cut. I ordered the Delmonico- I suppose the cut could be argued, so I won't even count that in leading to my disappointment. What came to my table resembled more of a Hungry Man Dinner Salisbury Steak, and it had hunks of raw fat in it, and it was covered in this awful brown, salty, peppercorn sludge-excuse me while i go vomit. My husband ordered the lamb chops-bad move. They tasted like they sat in their own blood for days-gamey, raw in the middle (again), and tough like shoe leather. Raw, and tough....? Weird, but true. Now, my husband and I both like our steak/lamb cooked medium rare to rare, but this really was raw. I'm also a HUGE fan of carpaccio, and tartare-but this meat was really disgusting-completely inedible. Oh yeah- I believe we were told by the wait staff that the restaurant was for people with "an aquired palate". Um.......a palate for shit?
