Half of my favorite memories have happened at an Outback Steakhouse in one form or the other. Never have I and never will I pass up an opportunity to go with my family to our traditional place of refuge; on every birthday and almost every Sunday after church we drive over to an Outback Steakhouse (shortened to Outback because of its common use in my household), order the usual and leave with full and very happy stomachs. The memories created at Outback Steakhouse's throughout my life have been proved vital in the knitting of my family - the tradition and ease related to this establishment have an important resonance because, as noted before, it is a refuge, it is a necessary gathering place in every local town. The Australian theme sets up a night full of the excitement as if on a vacation to the distant country as well as constant friendliness, whether it is from the waiter, the koala on the wall, or the inviting dish in front of you. Soft country music as well as classic rock is played in the background though rarely heard because of the constant conversation encouraged by the atmosphere. Though Outback is a chain, you never feel as if the care in you or your food is less friendly than a "mom and pop" restaurant. With appeal to the eye and to my taste buds, Outback Steakhouse is a winner every time.
Have you ever had a "usual"? A dish that cannot be beat, one that is ordered every visit without questioning or second thought? If the answer is no then you have not tried the Aussie Cheese Fries at Outback Steakhouse. These Aussie Fries, blanketed with Monterrey jack and cheddar cheeses and sprinkled with warm and freshly chopped bacon, are my weakness. Whether a food's ingredients are fresh or not make a big impact on its taste; this meal has real cheese; not gloppy nacho cheese substitute as seen at various other restaurants. Typically, the idea and creativity behind a dish makes or breaks the meal as well; Outback is my first knowledge of bacon on fries and with the addition of a perfect spicy ranch dipping sauce, this combination is distinctly the role model for future attempts at cheese covered fries. Unfortunately you never can tell when your food is on its way because this dish is so popular that often four waiters will walk by with cheese fries ordered by other tables, though the wait is never long because of Outback's superb efficiency. The preparation is the final test for the criticisms of a meal. As noted before, Outback's efficiency in creating the food has yet to fail, not forgetting the visual appeal of the fresh ingredients and logically organized plate. As for the plate itself, the waiter will always warn of its warm temperature because of their genuine concern for you in addition to the evidence that this appetizer is never served cold. Your anticipation for the taste grows as the cheese strings apart while you move some fries over to your plate and you are more than satisfied with the first bite and every bite post that.
Satisfaction is always the feeling when leaving an Outback Steakhouse. The visual appeal of the food and wall decorations, the creativity behind each dish, and caring ingredients and staff make each trip to this restaurant unforgettable. It's so addicting that with one visit you are immediately making plans for another; would you want to miss out on this exciting and delicious opportunity. Additionally, you'll be viewed as the "hot shot" of your group when it's remembered that you picked the best restaurant. Every want and need is covered and cared for with a smile at each visit; don't pass up this opportunity. read more
