Let me first say - we have travelled to many different outback locations, all over the country - and this was by far the worst experience we have had, as far as the food quality. The server was amazing, friendly, helpful and personable, and there is a lot to be said for good service. But please explain how an outback steakhouse can run out of A1 sauce? It sounds like someone (management) definitely dropped the ball - and it totally changed our experience. A manager should have run to the grocery store and purchased some, I'm certain we were not the only ones that were disappointed. The steak was very dry, and would have been edible if we had A1, but alas, we did not. All of the food did not live up to our expectations for Outback. Pretty disappointing. read more

Had a great night! Kelsey was our server and she recommended the wings for us to try. They were amazing. Great flavor and a great crunch. We also had ribeye with Garlic butter, which I highly recommend. We tried their strawberry kiwi margarita and it was light and refreshing, and the best part was it is part of the $5 dollar drinks. Their ribs are amazing too! Great bbq sauce. Overall a great experience the hosts greeted you with a smile and got us seated quickly. I've now tried to give this restaurant business 2 times. The first time, I walked in about 8:45 & was told the kitchen closes @ 9:00, so they couldn't fulfill any steak orders. This time, I walk in at 9:00 and both bartenders look at me, neither really doing much & continue to go about bar chores and such without a simple greeting and/or offer of any service. My customer I was with laughed and made the comment that they probably remember me from before, but these were clearly two other bartenders. As we got up and walked out about 10 minutes later & started to write the review, the female bartender followed me out and got in her car, so she was clearly ready to go. Everyone has bad days, but they're now 2 for 2 with awful experiences. I didn't write the first review bc I gave a benefit of the doubt knowing they were a fairly new restaurant. I made an order online, I understand that my steak is going to probably be over cooked which it was but I gave them an hour to pickup my order and I didn't get my sides. I got the toppings for my sides but no potato. Whatever you do check the order before you leave. read more

Conway has a great crew in this Outback but this place can get crowded. The men's bathroom uncomfortably so. Otherwise food is cooked to perfection if it is a little pricey there are plenty of reasonable items but you almost can't avoid at least $12 a person unless you get a burger. read more

Great place to eat. The staff is always polite and very prompt to take care of your every need. The food is always hot and fresh. I recommend the bone-in ribeye!! Today we got here around 530pm and had to wait 20 min... Not because they were busy, but because there was not enough staff. We got appetizers but had to wait for silverware to be rolled, then the waitress did not seem very knowledgable about the menu. I got the steak tacos that were dry and bland and my wife got the prime rib that was cold. We hadn't been here in years because of these things. Server slow to take drink order, deliver drinks and then take food order. Waited for bread and then for food. Food expensive for quality and quantity. $12 for chicken sandwich and fries. Served small fries with a lot of short pieces. Part of order forgotten, slow to bring, slow to get condiments. Dining experience took over 2 1/2 hours. read more

I have not eaten at Outback in several years and read about them building a new location in Conway, so it peaked my interest to go eat there again with the family. I use to enjoy their food and loved their bread and salads. I have to say we will not be back to eat at Outback again. Their quality of food has lowered to the low quality steak chains I will not mention here. First our 11 y/o ordered Mac and cheese off the kids menu. I wouldn't feed my dog this stuff! It was dry pasta with very little cheese that looked and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Dry and nasty! I ordered a sirloin steak that was over cooked from what I ordered. This is a steak restaurant they should know how to cook a steak to whatever degree you order, apparently not. It was quite tender because it looked like it had been tenderized by beating it and it had enough meat tenderizer on it and seasoning that it was almost impossible to eat without using A1 to mask the taste. The salads I use to love are gone and replaced by a small flat bowl that had a few pieces of ice burg lettuce chunks (the white parts) in it. The cheese and croutons were good... My wife had a chicken sandwich that looked good and she ate along with our 11y/o because her Mac and cheese was disgusting. The fries with her sandwich were reasonable but it should have been for the $11 you pay for a chicken sandwich and fries! We really don't like to complain and maybe we should have said something to the manager about the food but why should we have to? This is a chain that has been around for a long time and should have it down pat! I am very disappointed and guess we will be driving to Little Rock or Fort Smith for good quality steak at Texas Road House. Their prices seem fair and food is excellent every time we have been. Waited ages for a seat, waitress was incredibly rude, got our order wrong twice, didn't even bother to apologize, appetizer took about 45 minutes to arrive, an onion blossom (which I had friends RAVING ABOUT) that was cold.... I think it may have just been a terrible night for whatever reason, but this experience made me never want to go back to this location ever again. I was just coming through Conway on my way back to harrison and turns out I know his sister that lives in harrison. I would recommend eating here if you want a great steak. Great service, tasty & reliable menu choices, fair prices, especially when they run specials & I do appreciate the membership reward discount as well. Three of the 4 of us got the steak & lobster special, a deal at $15.99. Our side choices included 2 different soups (french onion & loaded potato- both delicious), & fresh steamed broccoli. The broccoli was very fresh & was steamed perfectly, tender but not overcooked, & was a very large serving size. Three of the four steaks were cooked to our requested temperature perfectly. One was undercooked, but for some reason it seems a challenge to most steak places to actually get a true medium steak. I didn't cut into it until the rest of my table was nearly done, so I chose to take it home rather than ask for it to be cooked any more. I've eaten at this location several times, & have never had a bad experience, so I'm wondering about some of the lower reviews. I also want to make note that we dined between 9 and 10 pm, walking out the door right at 10 pm ( their closing time). We witnessed the very self-centered & rude behavior of a very large group of 14 customers who arrived right at 10 pm, demanding to be seated & served. The manager initially told them the restaurant was now closed, & they protested that they had phoned the restaurant to let them know they were coming, so they insisted they be waited upon. The manager said yes, they were told that they needed to arrive before the restaurant closed at 10 pm in order to be served. This selfish group continued to wear the manager down, grumbling, yelling, whining & pounding on the door & then the restaurant let them in! I can't believe the generousity of this Outback restaurant toward these rude people, & I believe the staff deserve a bonus there. I was in disbelief of their behavior, it was appalling. read more

The food is pretty good. The one steak I ordered was not edible. Someone dumped the pepper shaker on it and it was unbearable. Most things I've eaten there have been have been take-out. You have to really watch them because the forget a lot of the side items, and if you are a Rewards member you will be disappointed. They never, ever give you the Rewards without asking; and then if you do ask, it is hit or miss that you will get them anyway. I don't think it is out of spite; I don't think the take-out crew have any idea what they are doing most of the time. Kind of clueless. I have talked to a manager about it and she told me what to look out for, but it didn't help. Their crew just can't seem to grasp the procedure for Rewards. A couple friends and I went out to eat for our friend's birthday yesterday (6/13/16).Everything was good and all the food was great, until we woke up the next morning. Four out of six of us have food poisoning. I don't know if it was a specific food that we all ate, or if all of the food was prepared wrong, but we're all very sick and upset. We usually go to Outback at least once a week. Went in, Silverware was dirty, no TP in ladies room This was at 6 pm.. Cosmopolitan drink was not worth drinking. Steak ordered medium well, came out like shoe leather. The Best Part was that the management, took the steak to the cook and asked him if he would eat it. They were very apologetic and comped my meal and gave me 3 $20 coupons to eat there again. We will return to give them another chance here in Conway, AR. read more

Where do I begin.......we had a 25 min wait which sometimes happens and is worth it if you get good service or good food.......which we received neither. After being seated, we waited 10 more minutes for a waiter to show up at our table. We ordered our drinks and did receive them promptly but it was downhill from there. He came back 15 min later and asked if we wanted an appetizer. We said no and as we are about to order, he disappears again for 15 more minutes. He came back to take our orders. My husband and I decided to order salads due to time constraints. I ordered the Caesar salad with Grilled Shrimp. Waiter says ok grilled chicken. I said "no grilled shrimp". He said ok got it. My husband ordered the sirloin steak salad with ranch dressing, not the vinegar dressing it usually comes with. Waiter said he could do that. We run out of water, no waiter to be seen. After 30 minutes our salads are being delivered by a waitress. My husbands salad was with a vinegar dressing, not ranch, and my salad had grilled chicken, not grilled shrimp. Also had to ask the waitress for more water. I stated my salad was supposed to come with shrimp. He said"oh yeah I'll get that order in. It should take about 4 more minutes". I just told them to forget it. He finally brought us water after I asked the waitress to bring it. I used to wait tables in college so I understand if a place is slammed, but our server had only 2 other tables ( a table of 3 and a table of 4) besides our table. I recently moved to the area and have eaten at a few restaurants around and I haven't gotten the best service. That is not the case here! Our waitress was the most friendly and sweet we have seen yet! We didn't get much food just an appetizer to share it was delicious and quick! Went for the steak and unlimted shrimp. Three of us had the same thing. Steak were cooked really well but the picture of the shrimp scampi probably shows at least a dozen shrimp, not large but not tiny. Each order had 6 tiny shrimp and on getting the next round of shrimp just 6 again. I've had unlimited shrimp at Red Lobster before and they were larger for sure. One round of the scampi had a shrimp that wasn't any larger than your pinky fingernail. Taste was OK but Outback is certainly skimpy on their scampi. Steaks were fine, the waitress was kind and gave us good service but we will dine elsewhere in Conway. read more
