I once gave Pasta Grill a five star review, but the last two times I've gone the food was cold and the service was horrendous, just so happens the waitress was the same the last two times. Had to look for waitress to get drink refills and then to place a to go order. We were the first patrons of the day today and the opened up after the time stated on website and glass outside restaurant. Food had to been waiting for our waitress to pick it up it was so cold, not even room temperature. I hope they get their act together because as it stands it's completely shattered now. Well I sucked at taking pics today and only photographed my cup of soup- white cheddar dill. Paired it with the walnut, Brie, chicken salad. Both were delicious. Father had the chicken parm and loved it. They also give free garlic bread. Service was great. Inside is a tad small and cramped but it works. Menu is huge and I can't wait to come back and try more. I'm going to have to pass on this place permanently. I've worked as a server and in a kitchens for a long time so I know when people are taking short cuts and costs for profits , yesterday due to this fact I have been struggling with food poisoning for about 24 hours now. My chicken fettuccine came out and it was precooked (blackened) and left out because when the chicken finally came to the table it was mushy, disintegrating , and was flaking as if it had been sitting out for hours. I ate enough pieces to realize a mistake was made however after swallowing I'm already screwed so it didn't matter. I've never had food poisoning so this is just a lot for me right . Cute spot in downtown Conway. Really wanted to love this place but every dish was over salted. Service was attentive even with the place being super packed on a Saturday night. Wow, just passing thru- from Nashville to Arizona, we wanted some local food. Oh did we hit the right spot. I had the shrimp and grits and I don't think I've had better. I order it most anytime I get the opportunity cuz I can't get it at home(Washington State) and this was great. It was baked and looked like a cake but couldn't have been softer or creamier. Is this place "Authentic?", I dunno, I've never been to Italy. Is this place good? Uh, heck yeah it is! My lovely wife and I foolishly decided to try out this spot for the first time on Mother's Day of 2021. We thought, we will just go at 4:45 before they open. Well, every other group with a Mother in Faulkner County decided to do the very same thing. Miraculously, since our group was just myself and my gorgeous companion, we got through the door as the third group to enter- since many of the other folks waiting to get in did not have their entire party with them. Anyway, we were seated and served very quickly. The kitchen was obviously prepared for the onslaught of ravenous families at their gates and must have been making meatballs and gravy all morning and the night before. We started off with delicious bread, a giant meatball with marinara and the "authentic" Italian classic: fried mozzarella sticks. Honestly, we coulda stopped there. It was all served hot and fresh and it was instantly filling. My entree was a perfectly cooked filet with a side of spaghetti and marinara sauce. The sauce was so fresh I could taste the sunshine on the ripe tomato that had been transformed into fragrant red sauce. My wife had a delightful salad with chicken. I was too entranced by my pasta to notice, though. I cannot wait to come back and dive into some of the pasta classics like Manicotti and Lasagna. While Pasta Grill is a chain, it's just 3 shops in Arkansas. The Conway store has a very nice, homey but modern ambience that would not be out of place in a large city. Parking is on the street in downtown Conway. Come early if you want a close spot! read more

Pasta Grill does not disappoint! We drove past Conway on the way to visit family on December 26th. This is currently my favorite Italian restaurant- even though it is 190 miles from home- so we started making plans to visit on our return trip. We literally had a departure time that would allow us to have a late lunch halfway through the six hour drive on the 28th. Miranda greeted us and provided EXCELLENT service throughout the meal. Absolutely a 10! This was our first lunch visit and we all ended up with some form of spaghetti. The portions are generous and the fresh taste and quality of every food item was as wonderful as we remembered from out prior visits. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of options on the kids menu since our granddaughter was with us. We will be back!!! read more

CONSISTENTLY FRESH AND DECLICIOUS! The shrimp and grits here are the best I've ever had (including ones in New Orleans). My husband, who is not a shrimp and grits lover, says this is his exception! The pastas are cooked to al dente perfection and the house made pasta sauces are standouts, including the marinara, which is fresh and bright and tastes like just picked tomatoes. Even if you don't select a pasta dish with marinara you'll get a sample of this magical sauce because it's served with the hot bread that comes to the table once you are seated. The meat sauce is rich and hearty, the Italian sausage is perfectly dense and packed with flavor. The meatballs get an A++ for both texture and flavor. Having trouble deciding what to order? No problem, just order the House Combination (meat spaghetti. manicotti. ravioli. sausage link. meatball with tomato sauce). The tortellini carbonara is one of my other favorites here. Flavor, flavor, flavor! While I haven't tried the salads yet, they are on my list. The guests beside us had salads and they were so pretty I was tempted to ask for pictures. Visiting from Seattle and we both ordered salmon dishes (grilled salmon pasta and salmon gnocchi) and we were not disappointed! Also ordered a spring salad as an appetizer which we split--came with grilled chicken, avocado, juicy mandarin oranges, strawberries, Parmesan cheese, croutons, and a bed of greens with lemon balsamic vinegar that was bursting with flavor. A full serving would definitely make a delicious meal. We additionally enjoyed the complimentary garlic bread that came with marinara dipping sauce--hot out of the oven and soft with a crisp crust. The only downside is the place is so popular . We tried calling to make reservations and we're told to call 30 minutes ahead to get our names on the wait list. The phone rang busy every time we tried calling until the 5th time we were able to get our name on the list. By that time we were about to head over and when we arrived were informed we would have a 40 minute wait. Thankfully it didn't take that long (maybe 20 minutes) but would've been nice to have a better system in place for those who are trying to plan ahead. read more

This unassuming downtown Conway restaurant is romantically lit. We were quickly seated, quickly served and delighted with our kind waitress. She supplied free breadsticks and marinara which are good but not mind blowing for a starter. We opted for a spinach artichoke dip appetizer and it was the best I've ever had. OH. MY. GAH. I have been to this place 3 times, and it just gets better and better. Everything from the marinara sauce to dip your garlic bread in to any and all pasta dishes are delicious! My favorites include the Southern Most Pasta and Drew's Hash (with a little extra Cajun Cream Sauce because it is so delicious). The service is always top-notch as well. The only down side is it is always packed with a wait, and is very cramped and loud. So, not ideal for a quiet, romantic meal. But with food this tasty, who cares?! ***My friends have raved about their aged steaks here as well, but I can't get myself to order anything without cajun cream sauce in it. My name is Chuck Breedlove. I, along with my significant other, have dined at the Pasta grill for the past 9 years. The food and the service has been the absolute best, hands down, in the Central Arkansas area without question for this period. There is rarely a 2 week period that we've failed to dine there. The staff members at Pasta Grill, starting at the receptionist as you walk in the door, to those that served as waiters were customer friendly, very well trained, ultra friendly, knew us by name, and professional in their duties on every visit without fail. However, we've noticed within the last 4 months, with what appears to be wholesale change in staff members, a major change in customer service and overall attitudes, We on a visit 3 weeks ago were forced to clear our table of dishes and utensils as no one seemed to make note of the plates and trash that accumulated on what is an adequate sized, but relatively small table. We moved the soiled items to an adjacent table to make room but this action highly upset one of the employees who advised us that it was not her responsibility to clear tables. We felt that for sure it was not ours. We visited again on Saturday, October 15th and true enough were a bit late for the noon meal which ends at 2:00 PM. We arrived at 1:45 and was seated, but rudely told that we'd be served if our order was submitted before the 2 pm deadline by both the receptionist and the waiter. We asked why were we seated if our arrival time was an issue. Our waiter readily responded with that if we'd like to we could always leave. I found the mannerism provided very rude and uncharacteristic of Pasta Grill. If we were arriving past an accepted time frame we should have been advised at the door. That approach would have been acceptable rather than seating us and showing the customer unfriendly attitudes. We dine all over the Southern US, and rate the Pasta Grill at the top of the those restaurants. However we will not pay for bad service. We are contemplating not dining there anymore. I'm celebrating my birthday here tonight; this is my first visit. Upon first impression, the ambiance is warm and inviting (dinner for one). There aren't many other people here. Pretty excited about eating...the waitress is here (she gave me no name) and the crawfish dip is on its way to my table. She tells me there are only two hard drinks to choose from: margarita or daquiri; I'm disappointed that there aren't more choices aside from those two, wines, and bottled beer. The dip is here (excited face)! It's cold and underseasoned (sad face). My waitress (still hasn't told me her name) is bringing out my salad AND entree right now. I just wasted money on an appetizer that practically arrived WITH my meal. I am shoving this crawfish dip down now so it doesn't go to waste. Going in for the salad next (paid extra for it as well)... *Sigh* A dead bug is in my salad. I hope my photos of it upload here. I am calling the waitress over to take it back. At this point, I'm already too disgusted and overall displeased with the food and the service to continue my meal. Asking for the check now. Of all the places to spend my special day, I chose what I thought would be a place to not only make me feel special but make me leave with a full belly and a smile. Hard no.
