In town for the night and found this place while roaming around. I got a city of colleges and it was really light on the cream ale side. I should have gotten a flight so I could have tried several. Next time I will. Wife got Donaghney Darko and loved it. She said it had the right amount bitterness and hopiness. The Reuben was good but could have been great. The marble rye bread was soft, the corned beef was piled high but the sauerkraut and thousand island was barely there. I had to look hard for it. The fries were nice and crispy. The grilled pimento BLFGT was bursting with flavor. Just lacked the pimento yet again one small dollop of pimento on a pimento sandwich is crazy. Looked for a local lunch spot and landed at the Rogue Roundabout, which I thought was a coffee shop. It is a coffee shop and so much more including a brewery and eatery. I had an iced tea and the pick two: rogue Cali with turkey and cilantro lime curried chicken salad with an iced tea (1/2 sweet). The rogue Cali was great and had lots of toppings. The cilantro like curried chicken salad was tasty and the sesame ginger vinaigrette was amazing. Service was excellent, place was great for socializing and hanging out. We haven't been in quite a while and unfortunately remember why... Sunday 11:30 am walked in, restaurant was maybe 1/2 full. Sat down and got greeted by our server immediately. That's where all the good stopped! We ordered drinks (or tried to) how are you out of Bloody Mary mix?! Placed our order, nothing fancy... eggs, bacon, sausage and pancake. 40 MINUTES LATER our server stopped by saying the kitchen was having to mix more eggs ??? Over easy eggs don't need mixing. 10 MINUTES LATER food was served! Husband's eggs cooked wrong, bacon and sausage when he only wanted sausage (I had bacon) home fries instead of hash browns. Server came back with the correct items only after we told her everything was incorrect. Manager never stopped by but did take 20% off our bill, wow! Didn't take the time to check if he did or not. We've been here a few times and quite enjoy it. Got to meet the owner today, seems like a great guy. Our server was also excellent. They have long cafeteria style benches and tables with lots of board games to play as you wait. The building itself is really cool, hosting plenty of beer vats in a tall, large open room. We enjoy their craft beers and will often get a flight. They have lots of unique styles and flavors for beer, but that extends to their varied cocktails and coffees as well. They don't have a beer menu though (they do for everything else they serve) and you need to photograph a QR code to go to their beer menu which is much more of a hassle than just reading a menu. The beer cheese dip and pretzels are a must. They will charge you extra for more pretzels to actually finish the dip, but it's so tasty, it's worth it. They have great wings and sandwiches which I have enjoyed but today we tried their brunch, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The food is a bit pricey (150 for the 4 of us after tip) but it's super solid food with excellent drinks and service in a pretty sweet spot in Conway. read more

We ordered food to go for the eclipse event. The staff are SOOOO friendly. You definitely get the southern charm and hospitality, with multiple people asking how you're doing and greeting you. We ordered the Rachel (Turkey Reuben), Cajun pasta with chicken, and the eclipse special fried moon pies. Before I get into the food, the brewery is super cute and chill, with lots of great beers on tap, and even non alcoholic drinks and gluten free beverages. Great space for a couple of brews and good food. The Reuben was delicious. Perfectly toasted, not greasy, and a good deal of food. The house made chips that came with it were nice and crunchy, even hours later (we had the eclipse to enjoy lol). The pasta was ok. I think it's just hard to do rigatoni to go. The pies were phenomenal, even though we didn't have them til after the eclipse (over an hour after they were made). If you're in Conway, this is a definite place to visit! read more

My friends and I wanted to check out a local spot in Conway. We decided to try this place and while the location and ambiance were great, we felt like the food and service were both hit-and-miss. It's definitely more on the expensive side too. We ordered cocktails that had zero taste of alcohol. The James and the Giant Peach drink was advertised as having frozen peaches in it; it arrived with peaches straight from a can. Needless to say, we stopped after one round. When I asked our server for more celery or crackers to finish our dips from the appetizer, she said there would be a $2 up charge. I was so disappointed. The pimento BLFGT was outstanding. The flavors were so good and the portion reflected its price well. The Cajun pasta was so bad that my friend didn't even get a to-go box. It was swimming in grease. The flavor was also strangely fishy which confused us as there was no seafood (or any meat) in it. After the tip, our check was over $100. The prices don't reflect the quality. So I patiently waited for the crowds to relent so I could try the new hotness in Conway. I slid in for lunch the other day and new I had to take my wife back for dinner! While at lunch I sat at the bar and ate. Loved chatting with the bartender and the owner over lunch. I ordered the duck wings (must have if they are available), scotch eggs, and steak flat bread... yes I know it's a lot of food for 1 person.... I was thinking ahead and took the extras to the wife so she wouldn't be as upset with me trying it without her. Of the 3 items by far my favorite was the duck wings, they are meaty and the glaze they use is so delicious. Better get extra napkins for these. Next up was the flat bread! The bacon jam, caramelized onions, and honey drizzle make this melt in your mouth. My least favorite was the Scotch eggs. Although they had good flavor but just to much in your face chorizo for me. Maybe some pickled onions on the side or on top might cut that intense flavor. Fast forward...... it's Friday night and none of our kids are at the house for a few hours..... impromptu date night.... Headed the the roundabout. Duck wings again! Yes! Ahi tuna - delicious and bursting with flavor! My fish was cooked well and had lots of flavor! Sides were also perfect. My wife and I caught their brunch, after church and let me tell you, this place does not disappoint. You might look at the menu and think it is pricy, but the amount of food you receive and the quality of the food, it is fantastic. It is well worth budgeting for, if you have to and are looking for something special. The food was fresh and I don't mean fresh from the freezer. Fresh veggies and fresh ingredients in an artistically designed pallet of flavors. The waitress was very helpful and polite. Also Chris the owner/GM was very friendly and came out and talked to us. You can tell he has a passion for food. We found out that the menu is a unique and revolving selection, that he puts together. For that kind of experience and effort, it is worth the money. We made it here at 8:30pm as our overnight stop from Dallas on our way to the Buffalo River. The hours said they closed at 9pm so we knew we were cutting it close but we were prepared to put in a to-go order and have a beer while we waited. We got sat and when our waiter came up he told us the kitchen actually closes at 8:30 and we were going to leave because we really needed food but he talked to them and got our orders in quick. Their menu had clearly marked Gluten Free or Gluten Free Available items which is always such a relief instead of playing fifty questions with waitstaff. Stopped in on my way from California. This place rocks. Came in on a Sunday at 1pm and got the brunch menu. I had potato skins, and got to try the shrimp and grits. And shared flights of beer and cider. everything I ordered was very very good. I loved the vibe inside and the concept of having both a brewery and coffee shop. I met the owner Chris who, once hearing we were ordering flights consulted with us and recommended some options. The Pickleback is the '6th Street Pickle Sour' with added pickle juice - SO good. I also enjoyed their City of Colleges cream ale, made with deer corn! Food prices are very reasonable. 1 pancake for $2! There is GREAT food here! I came here for the Scotch Egg, but found an amazingly unique sandwich, the Eggplant, that I liked even more! The Scotch Egg was great, but the strong chorizo flavor overpowered it and I prefer a traditional sausage instead. The veggie sandwich, the Eggplant, was surprisingly delicious! There was plenty of eggplant and zuccinni, some peppadew olive tapenade, with basil pesto and arugula. Absolute terrible experience, we looked around for a nice place to eat this afternoon and saw all the amazing reviews and thought lets go check it out. Worst decision we ever made, we walked in and stood at the host stand for 10 minutes looking at menus. Nobody greeted us or even acknowledged our presence. After just standing at the host stand, we sit next to a booth near the host stand to hopefully obtain some service. Nobody came, no greet, no waters, no menus (as we had to grab them ourselves) and all the staff did was stare at us and joke with regulars. We had a waiter speaking and joking with a table two tables over and he never acknowledged us! So after 20-25 minutes of just sitting we got up to leave and as soon as we're waking out the door they tell us to have a great day? Fuck you guys, we will never come back to an establishment who can't have the decency to at least acknowledge us for 30 minutes. Coming from a city filled with different restaurants, this one amazed us with the ideas that went into preparing the food. For the prices, you get borderline fine dining food for a fraction of the prices. What an amazing find! We traveled 4,700 miles cross country from Virginia and were on our way home when we stopped in Conway for the evening. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by the bar staff. We ordered 2 craft brews, a local IPA and brown ale and enjoyed chatting with Sloan, our bartender. We ordered dinner at the bar. My husband ordered Shrimp and Grits with a side Caesar salad and I ordered the Herb Encrusted Cod with Potato Latkes and seasonal veggies along with a side salad. Both entrees came wonderfully presented and were the best meals we had across the entire çountry to date! Portions were generous and reàsonably priced.
