Cassidy S. was tending bar and helped 2 of us w/rec of burgers / sand as to what was what. 1 crispy chix sand / 1 Outback burger / 1 steak philly w/ asparagus side. Beer all around - not Foster's I'm sorry to say. Chix sand was very good per M / Burger was good per J/ Steak philly - I chopped up the asparagus and placed it into the sand - it was very good as well - honestly one of the better phillys I've had in recent times. Not a true authentic PHILLY mind you but very nice - flavor was good - meat - tender - I'd order it again - especially w/ a beer. Great service by Cassidy - she answered every question I had - even the question regarding lunch combo "premium" side stuff that was not very clearly explained in the menu. I would almost say mis-leading. Cassidy very clearly explained it and was courteous - can't get better n that. A real good review for you Miss Cassidy. Please stock another type hot sauce besides just T.P. I'm old but not that old. Maybe Cholula or something that goes better w/your food than T.P. Special note to the MNGR: I was only disappointed that you had run dry on FOSTERS. C'mon man - this is the weekend and you let an AUSSIE styled restaurant run dry on AUSSIE beer. I sat there looking at the Australian MT Connor, Crimson Plateau picture which I'm assisting an artist in NY do a project on and thought this would be great w/a couple a FOSTERS of course - we all thought that. Mallory should not be a manager. No empathy just explanations. We came here waited over 45 minutes for food, and when we explained to Mallory, her first reaction was to throw her hand up and start explaining.......no empathy, not apologizing, not anything but throwing her employee under the bus. I told her with this kind of service, I don't wanna eat here and she said OK I'll bring you the check with just your drinks yeah duh because that's all we had I won't be back. However, I believe outback as a franchise is comparable to a Red Robin in quality but wants to act and feel like a nice restaurant charging higher end restaurant pricing. The prices aren't justified when you can get a much better experience at a nicer place like The Chop House for cheaper with better quality food and service. At best, they have a few select decent things on the menu but overall, I don't think it's worth the money spent for what you get. We just finished the worst steak we have ever had from outback(Commerce, Ga.). In fact, the whole meal was awful. They left out the au jus for the prime rib. The bread and potatoes were cold. The steak was also cold and was over 50% just fat by itself (not mixed in with the meat, just a large chunk of white fat). Certainly not worth $35 plus tip. Don't recommend this to anyone. read more

I was served casino food tonight. I think my family experienced a common affliction of geographically isolated, anchor attractions. If you're dumping cash into slot machines, the food really isn't the point, is it now? Outlet malls and their restaurants, like the nearby Tanger shopping center, are also known for this. You sunk the cost to drive 70 miles for the big sale at Nordstrom Rack, we all know you're going to buy stuff, now it's just a negotiation over what else you'll put up with to complete the sale. Don't get me wrong, I really dig Outback as a company and concept. The first one in my hometown has been happily operating for three decades now. They're fun and reasonably priced, with a little tongue-in-cheek. This one is located on the east side of 85, away from the miserable crush of Tanger shoppers. It's quiet and clean. I get it, staffing has been tough post-pandemic. But there are some easy fixes here. First, the host: his sullen, no-eye-contact opener of "how many?" while looking down at his iPad didn't exactly fill us with optimism. The side caesar that came with my steak featured wilted romaine, no cheese, and was excessively dressed. The sweet potato that accompanied my steak was excessively slathered in butter and sugar, and was itself over cooked. My kids were served grilled cheese sandwiches that were unappetizingly soaked in the liquid from their (undrained) vegetables. My ribeye was fine, but heavily over-seasoned. The stars are for our server Betsy, who was quick and friendly with my grumpy kids. We asked her about her tattoo, she told us of her recent fight with breast cancer, now in remission. My readers of age should definitely stay on top of their mammograms. Servers like her deserve better support from the kitchen. read more

This was such a great dinner! There was a very Small wait time, me and my family only had to wait 20 minutes to get seated. The food was great! I ate it up in an instant! The waitress was very nice and extremely funny. The interior was not very original though. Multiple people were staring at me and my family. Watch out though, the food is only good sometimes. Service sucks when we arrived we sat at the front for 10 minutes before we got to sit down

Horrible service didn't even get a refill then when a server finally came she filled my sweet tea with water I told her I had tea she took 6 minutes to bring me a new tea. We went at 1pm only 3 other tables in the building sat. During the course of our visit we had interaction with 3 different servers. All that tells me is there's zero communication to mess up the drinks. Lack of getting a refill. Overall back visit. Food was mediocre, a couple of our chicken bites were undercooked. I personally had a special request and our server ensured that I was accommodated. She was personable and professional. Really bad steak. My sister-in-law both ordered the 8 oz Victoria's filet, which is supposed to be one of their top steaks. Ordered mine medium and she ordered hers medium well. Upon arrival, mine was rare at best. And hers looked medium rare. We both sent them back, but even when we got them back, they were still too undercooked. So I'm going middle of the road on this review. The food has always been great every time we eat here and typically the wait staff are very nice and attentive. The issue is staffing I think. Today we called ahead--wait time given was 20-30 minutes, we arrived in 25 min and were told it would be another 10-15 minutes which wasn't really an issue. Looked around while we were waiting and noticed 1/2 the restaurant was empty?!? We were seated by the hostess and our meal was exemplary, no issues. As we ate we counted 3 hostesses, 1 waitress, 1 bartender, and a food runner with countless empty/dirty tables that no one was cleaning. So I'm giving the 3 stars because the wait staff, God bless their souls, is kicking butt and taking names. The food is good. But WHY are there 3 hostesses holding up the hostess stand and not turning tables?? Why don't they ever seem to have enough staff??? read more

Wow! Where to start. We were greeted immediately, seated in a booth. We then waited and waited and waited some more. 15 minutes later a server named Justin came out. Took ours and 3 other tables drink orders and away he went again. Finally it took a manager bringing us our drinks to get myself and my wife a drink. When we finally got our food my wife's steak was over cooked and burned. Both my wife and I come from culinary/service backgrounds. This type of service is unacceptable. Recently moved to the area. We frequented the Outback where we were located. We were anxious to try the location here, as our standards were so high from our experience back home. However, my ribeye was awesome, my wife's filet was great, as well as the cocktails and blooming onion appetizer. Eric was attentive, and conversed with us as if we were family. He was visibly busy and still managed to get everything out in a timely fashion, in addition to checking on us at the right times. A manager, Sammy (I believe), stopped by our table to check on us. She was awesome, and made us feel like family as well! 10/10 - will be back soon! read more

Bump all the negative reviews about this place. Decided to stop here for dinner after shopping at Tanger Outlets. Wasn't too busy when we walked in around 6pm. Our server was Ethan and he was absolutely phenomenal. Easy to talk to and extremely friendly. We ordered their new twisted ribs for an appetizer and it was amazing. I highly recommend it. We then ordered a ribeye and prime rib. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Also ordered a blackberry martini made by Ethan. Very good. Overall amazing experience thanks to Ethan. Totally lousy experience. Severs with poor attitudes. Ordered the large more expensive bone in ribeye that came smothered in 4x the seasoning/salt. Hubby's lobster, shrimp and steak combo came with the fried lobster and shrimp as crispy as pork rinds. The owner and manager need a new kitchen staff and maybe to be educated in what hospitality is. For years I have given away $500-1000 of Outback gift cards to clients during the holidays.Well that is going to change I'll switch to another gift card where they can have a good experience. I would have gotten just as good a meal at the local buffet for around $11 rather than throw away the $28 plus to get that ruined ribeye. Yes, the manager offered dessert... crap compensation for a rotten meal. Plus dessert does not mean bully to people that have to avoid desserts.
