Great local off the main road find! Has an old-timey nostalgic feel. Low key, no frills, and very much at home here if you're in to small town friendly ambiance. The food was fantastic and flavorful! We all enjoyed our meal. Staff, mostly local teenagers, were friendly and accommodating. Our only grief was the service was SLOW. Both in attentiveness of the staff and amount of time for our food to be ready. Perhaps thin in the kitchen? They charge for using a credit card and don't tell you up front. As a small business owner myself, this is a cost of doing business. Handling cash is not a cheaper option for businesses. Huck's is a small family run restaurant that specializes in hamburgers. They aren't fancy, but they are delicious! The fries are great, too. Their other items are good, but not great. The service has always been good, and the prices are fair. We like it enough to drive 20 miles to eat there, and we will be back. read more

I started eating at Hucks a month ago for the first time and love the place. The wings are not small they are wonderful pick your sauce before ordering, Hamburger Steak plate is yummy order a regular or large Hamburger steak very good! They have Homemade slaw so good!! Fries are homemade cut but not crispy, I would like to see crinkle cut fries instead. I will order everything on the menu to try out I'm sure I will not be disappointed. I call in an order and go thru the Drive Thru which is behind the bldg, ask for condiments and yes they have Ranch dressing to go in packets they are large and blue cheese dressing just ask on the phone what is available, I made Hucks my favourite place to go and live close by so I can splurge anytime. Good food at a reasonable price. They have GREAT hamburgers! Only have a couple of complaints. First, take a coat. December or July. Take a coat. They could hang meat in their dining room. Second, you might need to shoot a rocket off, to get a waitress to stop by to refill your beverage. But the food is very good! read more

I went tonight. They are open on Mondays, btw. We both got the middle sized cheeseburgers and a full size of onion rings and fries (and two sodas). The burgers were large and very tasty. The onion rings were above average. The fries were average. The problem I have is that we ordered a "full" order of fries and onion rings, but the amount was very slim and not at all worth the money. Our total bill was $23 before tip. That is an awful lot for two cheeseburger meals. Even though the food tasted good, I will not return. Also, charging a 3% credit card uplift is just bad form. Tried calling my order in for 30 minutes (should have decided to go somewhere else) Placed my order at the drive through window. After 40 (yes, forty minutes) I went inside and was told it was a drive through order and I should have called it in. Very rude with several people just standing around. I ordered 2 hotdogs and a salad - 50 minutes later I walked out of the restaurant that I placed an order at the drive through window. This will remind you of the your child hood here in the south, old fashion hand patty hamburgers with fresh meat. My wife brought the meat home (20 minutes). Grey, hyper-shredded, uh, goo. I took a forks worth and had a bite.
